My Review of Victory Toyota:
BOUGHT A 2009 CAMRY LEFTOVER FOR A GREAT PRICE. COULD HAVE PROBABLY SPENT A FEW BUCKS ELSEWHERE BUT UNLIKE THE TYPICAL ANIMALS THAT INVADE SHOWROOMS LIKE THE ONES ON THIS SITE THAT POST BAD REVIEWS, BECAUSE THEY DIDNT LIKE THE SERVICE THEY GOT AFTER BUYING A CAR FOR UNDER INVOICE. I ALWAYS OFFER A FEW HUNDRED OVER INVOICE, BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND THAT HOLDBACK, RESERVE ETC IS ONLY A LITTLE BIT OF MONEY AND THAT TH DEALER NEEDS TO MAKE A PROFIT SO THAT THEY CAN STAY IN BUSINESS. TO ALL THE ANIMALS THAT SEEM TO ALWAYS HAVE A BAD EXPERIENCE STOP DRIVING DEALERS OUT OF BUSINESS CAUSE $200 IS OBVIOUSLY SO IMPORTANT TO SAVE(IF YOU CANT AFFORD IT DON;T BUY IT). THE MORE STORES THAT CLOSE THE WORSE TS GONNA BE FOR US CONSUMERS..ANYWAY SERVICE WAS GREAT AND WIL DEFINATELEY REFER PEOPLE WHO FEEL THE SAME WAY AS ME. THANKS

My Review of Victory Toyota:
The last time I brought my car in for service one of the workers backed up a SUV into me. I was standing outside in the lot when I was struck by the van. I asked for an accident report to be filled out and Toyota refused. I was told I would have call 911 and fill out an accident report. For my own protection I did just. Today, I called in to have my car serviced and I was told they would not service my car. I was furhter told that I am being refused because I called 911 and filled out a police report the last time I was there. Since when a person in the US does not have a right to protect themself. I did not fall down and cry out in pain when the vehicle hit me, I did not make a scene. I quietly told the manager what happened and for my own protection I needed a report fillout. They refused, and they are the ones who said I would have to call 911 if I needed a report of the incident.

My Review of Victory Toyota:
My check engine light was on, so I went to my local Toyota Center to get it checked out. The first time this happened, I went to a different Toyota Service Center and was told it was merely a loose gas cap. A few months later, the same problem occurred, prompting me to return to a service center.

After waiting over 3.5 hours, the service advisor told me it was NOT a loose gas cap, but some other convoluted problem which would require me to leave the car overnight and he even showed me the some printed mumbo-jumbo.

Uncomfortable with his diagnostics, I immediately went to another service center for a 2nd opinion and within 30 minutes, I was told it was a loose gas cap and they reset the car's computer and I was on my way home.

I will NEVER go back to Five Towns/Victory Toyota for servicing. They are crooks!

My Review of Victory Toyota:
I am a completely dissatisfied customer with the Victory Toyota on Rockaway Tpke in Lawrence. I walked into the dealership & granted, was approached immediately by a salesman as expected. I explained to the salesman that I wanted a vehicle within a $10,000-$15,000 price range to take a loan out on. Needless to say he asked me to come inside, run my credit, etc. to see where that would land me. Once that was all processed, the reaction was equivalant to that of vultures from the salesman, & most especially the manager on duty. They immediately tried to push a vehicle on me that I had told them I wasnt interested in at all, I was given extreme "fast talk" with why "I should consider taking out a larger loan" in general for a more expensive vehicle that "would benefit me". I kindly & REPEATEDLY declined that vehicle. I eventually saw a vehicle that I deceided to consider, they quoted me a price of $19,500. However, I told them that I would like to go home & discuss everything with my 25 yr old son, & my 30 yr old daughter before I make any commitment. Once I informed my son, he found that EXACT vehicle I was interested in advertised on Autotrader.com from THIS SAME dealership for $11,495. We called up & spoke with a secretary who confirmed the internet price, & printed it out for me. I went back up there, & of course the manager was completely displeased with the fact that now he had to sell it for that price. Along with now making us wait for over 45 minutes to process the sale, he pulls out paperwork that the salesman had already completed...for the OTHER vehicle I never agreed to. The manager corrects it, then accepts $1000 deposit on the vehicle that I chose & for the internet price, tells me the car will be ready tomorrow...which never happened. I was put on hold for days with them, I finally receive a call at work from the dealership telling me to come in, I can pick the car up with additional $1000 that the financing company is requiring. I agreed, & waited there for over 3 hours only to find out that they "cant" sell it unless I apply another $4000 towards it. I declined altogether. They then run back onto the lot, & once again wanting to show me other vehicles that I "may be intersted in". I go home instead, research other vehicles, dealers, etc. I find another vehicle from another dealership (much more professional, & respecteable altogether) & opt to go there instead. I bring my credit card back to Victory for a refund of the $1000 I had initially put down, & instead of the manager reversing the sale, he CHARGED another $1000 onto it. Once that was noticed, I immediately questioned him. He says, oh I "made a mistake" then reversed the $2000 & hands me the refund receipt.Once I get home, I call the bank to inquire about the refund, & was told there were no credits pending at all. Not even by the following business day, I once again go back up there to confront the manager he then says the dealership didnt process the transaction yet but "Calm down, it was a mistake, he is entitled to make mistakes, & do I really think he is just trying to get over on me he has a wife at home with cancer"...it is now 3 days later, on a holiday weekend, & Im stuck here still waiting for the transaction to clear with the bank & be returned to my account. I am COMPLETELY dissatisfied with their service, & with how they handle their business. I wouldnt recommend them to ANYONE, not even my worst enemy. The potential risk of dealing with these fast talking crooks is honestly not worth it. Decent car dealerships actually do exist, however Ive had quite enough of an experience with Victory Toyota to say honestly, & wholeheartedly...THEY ARE NOT ONE OF THEM AT ALL!!

My Review of Victory Toyota:
I went to this Dealership after seeing a a good price on a used car which they listed on cars.com . When I got there I walked around the lot for about 20 minutes before anyone greeted me, A few sales people walked by without saying hello. I was the only customer there at the time so I dont see a reason for this. Finaly a salesperson comes out and asked me if i wanted the leys to take a look at it. After checking out the car I spoke about a possible trade in of my current car. Lets just say from thier on it was all downhill...I sat down and waited for the manager to tell me how much i would get, fist i had to wait for him to get off the phone with someone what he was screaming on(in my opinion that is wrong even if its your child it should not be done infront of customers). The manager who was checking the trade in value never even said hello or came to introduce himself that should be one of the first thing done with a potential customer. Finaly they manager gives the salesman a number on my car which was about $2,000 below trade in value which I was offered at other dealerships, them they tell me the car I amtrested in purchasing is $2,000 more that the advertised price..I told them I have the Cars.com ad with me, the told me that it was wrong the made a mistake a similar vehicle is that price.I then asked them about another cars they gave me a price of $2,000 more than advertised price and tole me that ad was another mistake. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS!

My Review of Victory Toyota:
MY BROTHER BOUGHT A 2001 AUDI FROM AUTO FIELD DEALERSHIP AT 179-09 JAMAICA AVENUE. THEY USED VICTORY TOYOTA FOR THE FINANCING. VICTORY TOYOTA PUT FALSE INFORMATION ON THE LOAN APPLICATION SO THAT IT WOULD BE APPROVED. THEY RAN A CREDIT CHECK AND SAW THAT THERE WAS ANOTHER LOAN IN MY BROTHERS'S NAME AND THEY SHOULD NOT HAVE APPROVED THE LOAN. THEY PUT THAT MY BROTHER WAS MAKING $2600 A MONTH WHEN HE WAS ONLY MAKING $1400 A MONTH. THEY ALSO OVERPRICED THE CAR. THE BOOK VALUE OF THE CAR WAS $12,000. THEY SOLD IT FOR $18,000 WITH A 21.95% FINANCING. MY BROTHER BEING YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED DIDNT KNOW WHAT HE WAS GETTING INTO AND THE SALESPERSON DIDNT EXPLAIN ANY OF THE DOCUMENTATION. WE ARE NOW IN THE PROCESS OF SUING BOTH AUTO FIELD AND VICTORY TOYOTA. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BOTH OF THESE COMPANIES. THEY ARE SHADY COMPANIES WITH A BUNCH OF CROOKS EMPLOYED THERE!!!!!!!!

My Review of Victory Toyota:
I read all the reviews and decided to try for myself. There were several positive and negative reviews. I can tell you that my experience was EXTREMELY POSITIVE. This dealership is located by JFK Airport. It is surprisingly close to most Nassau County locations as indicated on their web site. I did my homework first and would not allow other dealerships to bully me into a decision. One dealership told me not to even bother going to Victory, however, I figured there must be some ulterior motive behind their cautionary fairy tale. There was! I found their service to be wonderful. Pricing was better than the other so called "advantage" and I loved the no pressure approach I found there. You can read the other responses, however, take them with a grain of salt. Do your homework and you'll find the best deals at Victory despite the other tales.

My Review of Victory Toyota:
We decided to purchase a Camry from Victory Toyota (formerly Five Towns Toyota), even though it took hours to get to a "fair price" (we had seen a few parties leave during the hours we were there due to price negotiations). Then, when we finally reached a deal, we were told they needed to "locate" the car.

On the day of our scheduled pick up - the car was not prepped (it was filthy), the car had 50 miles on it, and the car had scratches (some may have been tape, but there was one definate scratch). In addition, the inside appeared to be vaccuumed. We really wonder whether we were getting a "new" car or a "demo" being sold as a "new" car. When we expressed our concern, the sales rep brought out another manager (he wouldn't give us his name) and the manager said that it was tape, and didn't say anything about the definate scratch. No apology or acknowledgement of the poor condition the car was in on the day of the scheduled pick up.

The situation created distrust , I wanted to cancel the deal. That manager said that he would NOT allow it. I then said, I would post a complain on the internet. He then called me a "maniac."

Finally, I escalated the issue to another manager who cancelled the deal. However, he still wouldn't provide the name of the manager who had been brought out to review the condition of the car (he must have been the manager who did the locate) and there was no apology for the name calling.

I would NOT recommend them and I would NOT trust them to "locate" a car for you.

My Review of Victory Toyota:
Purchased a 2006 Corolla from this dealer. I did my "homework" before going to dealer. I knew model and options I wanted. I insisted on the color and interior I wanted. I DIDN'T SIGN THE CONTRACT UNTIL I GOT WHAT I WANTED. Refused to be hustled by the finance manager ( told him I'ld go to my credit union if he couldn't match their rate of 6.9%) and didn't buy the ridiculously over-priced extended service plan.
Because I was prepared, I got the car I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. The salesman was a gentleman, he sat at the first desk on the left as you come in the door.
I bring my car their for service. I will buy my next Toyota from them too.
