Reason for Visit: Service
I recommend this dealer: Yes
My Review of Vob Nissan Saab:
I've had so many bad experiences with this service department I can't believe I went back one more time. Mainly because it is so close. But I will drive further to a more inconvenient dealer to avoid dealing with this one.
It took three days and $800 to resolve the 'service engine soon' light. Two days later, the light was back on. Took it back in and they resolved it promptly for $15.
However, every phone call to this person is difficult. He is rude, condescending, short, etc. I needed a ride to the dealer (1 mile). The car was done at three, when I called (because he rarely calls me). I asked for a ride at 5:30. Oh no, we're too busy then. I said 'well you said I could pick it up till 6:30. You can, but we're too busy to do rides at rush hour. We can pick you up now. Though inconvenient, I thought this was probably a one time thing. When I took it back in for the second fix, I again asked for a ride to pick it up. (Not to drop it off). It was done at 11AM. I asked for a ride. Oh, my guys are at lunch, can you call at 1:30. Wow, that's a long lunch, but sure, lets do 1:30. Ok, call me he says. Why do I have to call? Lets just set it up for 1:30. Well, in case I forget. So I call promptly at 1:30. Oh he's out on a run. (I thought there were guy(s) plural?) I'll call you when he comes back. 2:30 I'm still waiting. I call back. Oh yes, I'll send him right out. 3PM he arrives.
So, to make a long story short, if you want a ride at 3PM, you're fine. Otherwise, forget it.
We have a hummer that we take to Criswell Hummer, and I am just delighted with them. I'm going to beg them to work on the maxima so I never have to see VOB again.
