My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica Inc:
They dubbelcharged us, although we had bank-slip proof of first payment.
The representatives are very unpolite and not willing to help.
We had to wait in the dealership for several hours every time we went, even though there were no other customers.

We strongly urge everyone to avoid this dealership.

My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica Inc:
The only reason this dealership does not get the lowest rating is because of my salesperson, Matt Lopez, he is the only shining star in a dealership full of crooks. Matt's day off was the day I tried to close the deal on my 2003 Jetta lease. I had a trade-in that they told me they would give my $7500 on and then when we tried to close the deal, the new salesguy had the trade value listed at $5500. He didnt mention it, but I saw it. He told me that the car was not worth what they quoted me before. Then he told me Matt was incompetent and that he cant give away Jetta's. I called Matt Lopez on his day off and told what happened. He made me whole but the whole situation left a bad taste in my mouth.

My Review of Volkswagen Santa Monica Inc:
this is the fourth dealership i have been to in the last couple of months. while the first three dealerships (downtown la, van nuys, woodland hills) would have gotten NEGATIVE 5 were it an available option, santa monica received a 5 from me on almost all accounts. especially in regards to david, the service rep that was the guy i dealt with primarily. the car was fixed the next day. no bs. no attitude. and this was the day before the thanksgiving holiday too. good experience. finally a los angeles area service dept i feel comfortable taking my car to.
