DO NOT BUY FROM HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!? - Gene? - Today
This is the worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I had a deal worked out with them to purchase a used vehicle. When I tried to shop around for financing they insisted that I take the vehicle home that night and use their rate which was a lot higher than I was able to get everywhere else. Once I recieved my financing and was ready to close the deal, they changed the terms of our agreement. Whats better is that the manager then lied about the deal to his General Manager. He claimed that we never agreed to the terms, which we had in writing. I spoke with the General Manager and he did absolutely nothing about it. Also, I asked them to send me a carfax report and they sent me one for the wrong vehicle. After reading the correct one, I found out that the vehicle I was looking at had been in an accident. PLEASE do your self a favor and have nothing to do with these guys. They will lie all day and tell you what you want to hear in order to get you to buy. These are the sleeziest people I have ever dealt with.

The manager told me that they care about human factor...Funny..

Let me explain...I bought my car to VW Springfield and described the problem and few symptoms. The executive didn't care about the symptoms and didnt put on paper. After diagnosis, he came to me with few more problems which i didnt mention while neglecting the symptoms i told.
Finally, the car was delivered with a major problem that they can easily find if they would have driven for a mile or so.(test ride).

When asked, the Manager told me that they were unable to road test because i am waiting.

So, folks, Please ignore this dealer if you can and better try some one....

My Review of Volkswagen Springfield inc.:
Held my car hostage for a safety inspection. Charged over $360 to replace a cracked fog lamp. On two visits, service advisors attempted over $700 in upsale repairs. Told me that I suspension was bad. Later, I took my car to an independent VW shop to look at the suspension and stated that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. After I picked up my car from being serviced, there was a chunk of dashboard missing from them replacing the glove compartment. William barely gave me a chance to explain the situation before becoming condescending and telling me that they "protect their own". William, his service reps and cashier people are completely unprofessional. Apparently the customer is never right at this dealership. If he continues to treat his customers in this manner, he won't have any left.

This is the worst dealership I've ever dealt with. They have done poor work on our new vehicle twice haven't stood behind their work and are rude about it. I've left 5 messages for the General Manager and he still hasn't called me. Our 6 week old vehicle has been in the shop 5 times and they could care less. I will never do business with this dealership again and won't let any of my friends go there either. If I could give them all zeros I would. Springfield VW is a horrible place to buy and/or have your vehicle serviced. Stay away for this place.
