My Review of Wentworth Motor Co., Inc.:
As I had written in a previous review, I have had quite a few problems with my wife's 2003 Volvo XC 90. We leased the car to 60,000mi but the warranty expired at 50,000mi. I spoke with the sales manager, Rich Brady, when he saw how upset I was about the problems the car has had. I told him that I felt that they should warranty the car until the lease was up. He said that he would try to purchase the remainder of the lease when there were only 3 payments left. I made another payment and called Rich to let him know that there were only three payments left and he said he would get back to me. I waited a week and then called him. He told me that used cars were not selling well recently and that it would not be in his best interest for him to purchase our car. HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT!!!! He led me on and told me what I wanted to hear to calm me down then told me that it was not in his best interest to take back the car that they had leased me. He has admitted that this car is a major problem; they had no problem selling me this car and making money off of me. He said that the car was Volvo's problem!! How do you like that, they sell the car, but don't take any responsibility for what happens after the sale. Typical sales guy! I would NOT recommend that you or anyone you know buy a car from Wentworth Motors. I understand that this car is a LEMON, but come on!! I have had this lemon for 3 years and 9 months, and I was hoping that they would do the right thing and save me 3 more months of misery. OH WELL!
