Reason for Visit: Sales

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of West Suburban Imports:
It started off good - but when it came to selling our passat, we learned from other dealers that the car was in a front end collision and had possible "frame damage" - a RED FLAG when it comes to trying to sell your car. My wife bought the car, and despite warning her to take a pro-active approach to buying a car - the sales people were able to sweet talk her into buying this car. Nikki and her sales crew - despite being very personal and likeable, in the end were watching their bottom line. After we spent 2 years with the passat and a heck of alot of money on repairs they could not fix it - so much for a cerfiied vehicle. We had to sell it. They wouldn't ackowledge their sales tactic and left us out to dry. Do not go here to buy a car - there are more honest dealerships out there.

Reason for Visit: Service

I recommend this dealer: No

My Review of West Suburban Imports:
Brought my Passat in for routine 30,000 mile serviceon a Sat. When I called to schedule the appt., I tried to tell the service manager about all the things that needed to be addressed and he cut me off and was like "Ya ya ya we'll take care of it". When I showed up they said there wasn't enough time on a Sat for them to fix all the problems. Later, dealer called me back and said the REAR brakes were shot and needed to be replaced. They had given me a ride to Oak Park while we waited and so I was stuck. I have never heard of rear brakes going bad before the front brakes and never before 30,000 miles. Ended up spending $900 and feeling like I was taken to the cleaners. Never went there again.
