My Review of Witt Lincoln Mercury:
I went in to the dealership while on R&R to look for a dependable vehicle for my wife while deployed to Iraq. I spotted a new 2005 Aviator with an incredible discount. The sales person was very informed about the product and there was no pressure during a true presentation of the vehicle. This was clearly the best automotive buying experience I have ever had. I also purchased the maintenance program so my wife would have no issues with the car while I have been gone. The service department is outstanding and professional also.

My Review of Witt Lincoln Mercury:
I bought a used GMC from Witt at the end of May. The car itself was beautiful and test drove wonderfully. I bought it.

Six days after I bought the car, it started having problems. Big problems, including loss of power (stalling), hesitation when shifting gears and ABS issues. I left messages and sent emails to the service department and even Mr. Witt himself regarding the necessary repairs, as it came with a warranty, and I wasn't have any luck getting a response from the service department. I never received a response from them.

I took the car to a GM dealership for repairs. There, they told me that "someone" had to have turned off the numerous warning lights prior to my purchase. The vehicle had a faulty computer, ABS module that needed reprogramming, and a bad cam sensor.

In the less than 1 month I have had the vehicle, I have been unable to drive it a total of 12 days.

Witt Lincoln Mercury sold me an unsafe vehicle and refuse to take responsibility for it. They intentionally turned off the warning lights and hid the fact that the car had numerous problems.

As for the "dealer warranty" - it is junk and not worth the paper it is written on. They did not call back the GM dealer to discuss and I am out the repair bills and car rental expenses.

DO NOT BUY FROM WITT LINCOLN MERCURY. DISHONEST, UNTRUSTWORTHY, AND SELL JUNK CARS.

My Review of Witt Lincoln Mercury:
Very informative, and fair. I bought my car a month before the Family plan. I was just in for an oil change at Townsend Lincoln Mercury when I noticed the Witt "no hassle price" that I had paid was cheaper to the Family Plan price, which is supposed to be the best price. They also called to make sure I was satisified, nice to do business with. By the way I just found out their is a Witt dealer/service in Escondido, I'll be going there from now on.
