What Others Say

Toothman Ford, was very responsive to my inquiry. The salesman was very helpful. I did not make that purchase but would very likely deal with Toothman Ford again.

The salesman failed to disclose serious issues that impacted the safety of the Toyota vehicle I purchased. They placed a WV inspection sticker on the truck. After I purchased the truck, serious issues with the brakes developed. I took the truck to a Toyota dealership the current brake system on the car will not pass inspection. The break lines are a mess and twisted and tangled under the truck rather than attached to the frame as they should be.

Bait and switch operation no truck available. Won't answer questions about the specific vehicle at all. High pressure data mining with repeated phone sales calls every day. "Just want to ask you a few questions... ". Gross.

Worked with Tyler Stevens. He was honest and professional. The price was the best of any I saw.

Made a 3:30 appt yesterday with Toothman Ford to drive a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited and a 2014 GMC Yukon. Rep on the phone said before we left, “I’m pulling them both out front and they will be ready when you get here.” Took vacation day from work and drove from Charleston, arrived at 3:25 pm. Neither car is on the lot much less out front. In fact, the Jeep is in the repair shop and not available for the test drive. Yukon is grimy and filthy. Dried ketchup on some of the seats. Local sales staff explained that reservations are made by an off-site call center. Drew was very knowledgeable and helpful. Greeter caught us when we came in the door, offered us drinks and found Drew for us. It’s unfortunate for the great local staff that using the call center is impacting sales and causing customers like The Good Husband and me to go elsewhere.

I purchased a used F-150 truck from Toothman and Ford on July 24th. I paid a substantial deposit, signed a sales agreement, and made arrangements to have the truck delivered to me on July 27th. On July 26thh, the salesperson called to tell me that the truck I purchased was sold. The dealership offered nothing other than a simple "sorry", and asked if I would be interested in a downgraded model of the same truck. In the meantime, I returned the vehicle that I had been driving and I must now wait to see if they return my deposit. This is an extremely untrustworthy dealership and I would encourage everyone to shop elsewhere.
