Purchased a car from 802. Finance guy used high pressure tactics to sell me a probably useless parts insurance policy. I relinquished. Pathetic. Sales person Tama was good. Look out for high pressure pitches by finance.
Reviewing the service department..I have had only one experience with 802. The service and Tech knowledge were outstanding.
We bought a car for our 19 year old. Sales person was friendly, informative, process transparent, absolutely no pressure sale. Highly recommended!
I went to 802 Honda to purchase a 2022 Honda Ridgeline. I am 75 and have purchased several vehicles in my lifetime. That visit was the worse experience I have ever had at a dealership. I had an appointment for 10:00 (this is the time the salesman, Doug Allen, selected) and never got his undivided attention until 11:30. This salesman did two deliveries to other customers while I waited in the chair at his station!!! He drove another car to the gas station and filled it up during our appointment. I only waited so that I could get an offer on my trade which ended up being ridiculous. Needless to say I left very unhappy. On my way home, I stopped at Automaster in Burlington and had probably the best experience I ever had. I received considerably more for my trade from them and was in and out in less than 45 minutes with a new truck on order - exactly what I was looking for!
My husband and I went to purchase a Honda Civic that we wanted. Although the relatively new salesman Mark was very nice, the Sales Manager was loud, talked very fast and was boorish. They tried to get us to take a 6.9% and then a 3.9% on the car when we have excellent credit and we had to force them to run a credit check - which we qualified for 1.99% because we just recently purchased a Toyota Camry from Toyota in South Burlington and knew we already qualified for the best interest rate. It took 4.5 hours to buy the car and we had to fight for a good purchase all the way. It was not a pleasant experience and we will never go back.
Tom and Andy did an outstanding job with the maintenance of my Honda Accord. They explained to me in detail the work needed, how long it will take, and what the cost would be. I want, also, to thank Phil and Eric; both of them worked on my vehicle. I had a great experience and would highly recommend 802 Honda service center.
