We recently purchased a certified used Acura RDX from Jeff Wyler Acura of Fairfield. We originally stopped into the dealership to look at the RDX since my wife had previously owned one and always remarked how much she loved that car. Our sales consultant, Steve, was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions and demonstrated all the RDX features. After thinking about the RDX for a few days, we decided to pursue the acquisition. I sent Steve the pertinent information on our trade and the dealership made us a fair offer. We finalized the deal over the phone and picked up our new car the next day. The entire process was easy, pleasurable, and fun. Based on our initial experience, we highly recommend this dealer when looking to acquire a new or used vehicle.

After seeing an advertisement for a lease for the 2025 ADX, I scheduled an appointment with an associate and took it for a test drive. Unfortunately the ADX was too small and the other cars on the lot didn’t fit my needs. Before leaving, the sales rep advised she could put me on a particular MDX that was in the showroom at the current advertised MDX lease rate. With hesitation I told her I knew how leases worked and I’d be surprised if that particular model qualified for the advertised lease rate. She then reassured me it would. As a result I told her I’d be back the next day to go ahead and finish the deal. The next morning the sales rep sent me the credit application. After completing the application, the sales rep contacted me to apologize and advise that she’d given me incorrect information. In actuality, the MDX in the showroom didn’t qualify for the advertised lease special. She then advised they didn’t have any on the lot but that she could order a base model for me. At that point I was super upset. After a pointless credit inquiry, I let the sales rep know I wish to file a complaint. In my opinion the dealer needs to train their employees better before letting them deal with the public. I value my credit and would’ve avoided an unnecessary inquiry if the rep would’ve provided knowledgeable accurate information up front.
