frustratingly, one cannot leave zero stars. I brought my car in to Universal City Mini for its first service. I waited almost an hour for the loaner…super frustrating as I had explained when I made the appointment that I needed to be at cedars Sinai by 10. I didn’t get there until 11., when I went the next morning to pick up my Mini with Angie, we noticed that one of the windshield wiper blades was shredded. surely I briought it in that way but since it’s summer in CA, I didn’t notice. but supposedly they were inspected, or it said so on my report. she got an advisor who told me he needed to watch the service video before they could be replaced! what?! I was very frustrated. and asked when it could be done.. he had no answer, only that he needed to watch the video. I asked again and again if they could just be replaced. at that point, he said “I’m just trying to xxxxing help you”! yup, he swore at me. he later called and apologized. he offered to have someone drive out to replace them. since I am unable to leave during the day I said I would bring it in on Saturday. he asked that I call him to let him know what time I was coming and to give 20 minutes notice. I called. some woman answered and when I asked for him, she said he was not working that day! again, what?! I asked to speak to a manager. she responded in a rude snotty voice for my name and reason for wanting to speak with him. I had already given my name and was stuck off being spoken to so rudely so I said, “frankly, it’s not your business. would you please connect me?” she then hung up on me. when I got to the dealership, I explained to the manager what had happened from the get go. I asked that she apologize for being rude and hanging up. he said no. he said he was going to deal with HR. this service department is the worst…EVER! stay away!
Bad customer service. Not able to help with lease return. They should be able to bridge relationship with mini bmw finance for inspection for lease return. Had no interest in helping me as customer of mini
I came in looking for a very specific mini cooper and was helped promptly by Neil. I remain impressed with his level of professionalism. I had been looking at multiple dealer inventories online and speaking with different salespeople but Neil is by far the most personable, prompt and efficient. He was the absolute best through every step of the way. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a smooth honest experience. People don't tend to realize this, but typically whoever sold you the car will be your go to through-out your lease as maintenance , loaners etc come up. He is the guy you want! Trust me
Mini of Universal City has advertised for sale a 2015 Honda Fit EX. They have it advertised as an EX-L; the car does not have leather seats and some additional features which denote the "L". I informed the dealership and they apologized and stated they would make the correction to their advertising. Initially, they made the correction, but have since reposted the car as an EX-L. The GSM Jeremy Grossman was great! He gave me a great deal on a new MINI Countryman Cooper S. I went to many dealers in the LA area but MINI of Universal City was the only one that really gave me a fair price and was transparent with pricing.
