Highly recommend!!! By far the BEST dealership I’ve ever been to. From the start we were was greeted by very friendly staff. Ram Vega was assigned to us. He was very attentive to my wants in my next vehicle. He showed my husband and I the ones we were interested in. I was between two vehicles. He asked me questions to help decide on which one I loved the most. Ram also gave us the time we needed to make the best decision, he was not pushy at all. Once the vehicle was decided, we went in to start talking numbers. Ram matched us up with Matt Xie the Finance Director. Matt was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He was able to make the numbers work for us. During this whole process the GM Eliel Ramirez came and greeted us to make sure we were taken care of. I will ONLY shop here to buy my vehicles.
STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!! YOU have been warned! If i could leave this fraud of a dealership no stars i would! I inquired about a vehicle and they told me they had it. I went to inspect it and had run the numbers and had a buyers sheet and was going to come back to buy the vehicle and that's when it went downhill. I was told i was shown and quoted the wrong vehicle and was told they were going to make it right and when i get back to the dealership their idea of making it right was selling it to me at a higher price, which meant a higher payment. I told them no and to eat their mistake and they wouldn't so i left. AGAIN STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! they are scam artists looking to pull a fast one on you.
Researching a 2014 Volkswagen Tuareg Gillman had one in great shape at a fare priced. Staff contacted me quickly and were courteous and professional.
I called to verify the availability of a vehicle and was told it was in stock. I said I would be there in about 2 hours since I had an hour's drive to get there. I received an email about 20 minutes prior to my appointment time and it gave me the name of the person I was to meet. I ended up being a half hour late to the appointment due to my grandson locking my son-in-law out of the house. When I arrived and found the salesperson, I inquired about the car, which they had to search for only to find that it was in financing. It would have been nice to contact me and let me know that the car was no longer available, instead of letting me drive through Houston traffic. We were offered to wait to see if the financing went through, and then offered to look for something else. Neither was a good answer and we left....not planning n going back either.
Salesman was very knowledgeable about the Subaru Outback Onyx, Limited and Touring trim levels. We expressed that we were only looking for the 2.4L Turbo. These are hard to find, so we will order an Outback when we are ready to put an order in.
Hello, I wanted to put this out there to inform others so that hopefully this dealership doesn't do this again. We were a one car family since selling our mini van to help pay for living expenses during all the issues that came around with 2020. I'm in the airline industry and was out of work for a while...fast forward to 2022 and my husband and I being back at work full-time we desperately needed a 2nd car. We found a used 2010 Mini Cooper at Gilman Subaru Southwest 10565 W Sam Houston Pkwy S, Houston, TX 77099 Sia was our sales person and he along with the staff there said it had been properly looked over by their mechanics. It did have a warning light and the next day it was off, they stated it was a back light that had been out. We purchased the car...we had it financed and 2 weeks later it stalled. We called Sia he said to bring it in, the shop was closed, he said he would call us back after speaking with his manager. He never did. We were able to start it back up and drove it for another week when it finally stalled again and this time wouldn't start back up. We had it less than 30 days when this happened. We have yet to make the 1st payment on the car. We called the dealership again, had to push it down from our 4th floor parking garage in order for the tow company to get it and had them take it back to Subaru since Sia and the manager there said they would have the service department take a look. The service department person, Kevin said they do not work on mini coopers...I found that interesting since Sia and the Used Car Manager said their service department cleared the car saying it was in perfect condition. The following is a text response from Kevin the Subaru Service representative.... I dont know a lot about Mini Coopers, but did a quick search for the code and found this . The blow off valve is electrically operated, I take it that the error is actually Bypass Blow off valve not plausible, meaning that the value seen by the ecu is outside the design parameters. ***We decided to have the car towed again to a competent mechanic that works on Mini Coopers. The service person there confirmed that Subaru had misdiagnosed the vehicle and they had also at some point disconnected and jumped the battery which isn't recommended on that vehicle and caused more issues. We have been going back and forth with Sia at Gilman Subaru Southwest, a manager was supposed to get back to us DAYS AGO...and we're still waiting. For anyone out there looking to purchase a used or new vehicle I would definitely avoid Gilman Subaru Southwest or at the very least don't take them for their word it's not worth a thing. I also spoke to a mechanic today at Eric's who wasn't surprised that it was Gilman Subaru Southwest. Such a bad experience for a 1st time used car buyer.
