My husband and I were contacted by Jim Nuccio from Lamborghini Chicago stating that he was interested in purchasing our 2005 Lotus Elise. He and my husband spoke multiple times on the phone and came to an agreement for Lamborghini Chicago to purchase our car. We came to the agreement of $24,000 with $3843.09 being paid by cashiers check and our loan payoff of $20156.91 to be overnighted to our credit union. When the driver arrived on Thursday, March 24 at 3:53pm to pick the car up he presented us the cashiers check of 3843.09, loaded the car up and took the car to Chicago Lamborghini. The next day, after Chicago Lamborghini took possesion of our car, Jim Nuccio contacted my husband stating that the car needed new rear brakes and that the car was leaking. Mr. Nuccio never requested for us to take the car to a mechanic before he purchased the car and the only thing we were aware of being wrong with the car was the rear tires had some wear on them, which we made Mr. Nuccio aware of prior to the same of the car. Mr. Nuccio stated to my husband that unless we agreed to pay for th repairs which he estimated at $2,500 he would be canceling the check. Mr. Nuccio told my husband he had exactly ten minutes to call him back or he would be canceling the check for the loan payoff. I have since contacted Mr. Nuccio via e-mail (which has been very difficult, he only wants to speak by phone) and he then contacted my husband again to leave a voicemail stating he was sorry and he "wanted to make a deal." I have been e-mailing him back and forth after contacting fed-ex and confirming that he never sent the check to our credit union to pay off the loan. Mr. Nuccio is refusing to cooperate and is refusing to speak to me via e-mail and insists I call him. I have asked him multiple times for the tracking number of the fed ex package his finance office claims to have sent, only to recieve one or two word anwers or his phone number. Mr. Nuccio has had possesion of the vehicle for 7 days now and we still have not recieved full payment for the vehicle.
Terrible service, I worked with Tony. He was arrogant and rude. There was zero follow through. My guess ... he's the owner's nephew. I was in love with the new Gallardo, but went to a different dealership. It is worth the drive to know I will receive top notch care. Hope this helps!
