I had an extremely frustrating experience with Legacy Ford that cost me a lot of time and money with no resolution. I brought my truck in for a torque converter shudder issue. I was charged $1,300 for a valve body overhaul that I was guaranteed would fix the problem. I even told the service advisor that I had seen a Ford advisor explain online that this service is often done first even when the root issue is already known. Despite that, the advisor spoke as if she were the technician and repeatedly assured me that the valve body overhaul would fix my truck. Instead, it made the problem worse. After that, I was told the truck was misfiring and quoted another $1,200 for heater hoses and a tune-up, with the claim that this would fix the shudder. I took the truck to another shop for the hoses at a much lower cost, and that mechanic confirmed my spark plugs were dry, meaning the truck was not misfiring at all. When I brought the truck back to Legacy Ford, I continued to get the runaround. This time I was told it was some kind of board inside the transmission that needed to be replaced. At that point, I told them I was coming to pick up my truck and take it elsewhere. Only after I said that did they suddenly say I needed an entire transmission and took it upon themselves to contact my warranty company. They claimed they saw metal in the transmission fluid, which raises serious concerns—because if metal was present, it should have been seen during the valve body overhaul as well. Before I said I was picking up my vehicle, there was no mention of needing a transmission replacement. The diagnoses kept changing, the guarantees were broken, and the communication was inconsistent and unprofessional. I do not feel this dealership was honest or transparent, and I would not recommend Legacy Ford to anyone looking for reliable service.
We Leased a 2025 Ford Escape the contract price we signed didn’t corresponded to financed price $ 40 more per month on 36 month lease $ 1440 more total Manager promised call back haven’t heard, service ?.??
The sales dept is weak. The management is very amateur. You can tell the blind leading the BLIND.
I went in to check out an F 150 I seen on TrueCar. I meet with Shelbi Landers and looked the truck over. It looked great. My wife test drove it with Shelbi and said this is the one she wanted. I informed Shelbi that I was waiting on my insurance pay out for my totaled-out truck and needed a little time for the financing money to come thru. She said we could put a deposit to hold it. We did and she was able to get the truck financed without the big down payment I wanted to make. That was a game changer for us. We were in big need to replace our other truck fast and Shelbi did everything to get it done. Thank you so much for the helping hand we needed quickly. I completely recommend anyone to go see how Legacy can help you.
I brought my car in for an oil change and left in a brand new car. Everyone was so wonderful and helpful to me. I have not bought a car in a long time but it was time for something new. I bought a new Ford Escape and I love it. Thank you to the service department and the sales for helping me out.
I purchase my Ford Escape from Legacy Ford. Legacy is my full-service dealer because they give accurate, fast and supreme service.
