I've bought three cars from them and after this experience I won't ever again. The salesperson and I picked out a vehicle that fit my needs and they had in stock. Since my car was dangerous to drive I needed a car ASAP, which is why I was willing to buy a used car. After waiting for 20 minutes he shows up with a totally different vehicle and says that they had loaned the vehicle out and it wouldn't be coming back for over a week. I explained that I was highly interested and I know that when I had a specific loaner that they traded it out early since they needed the car. I reached out to the salesperson to see if they had gotten the car and his response was he's working on it. I called D'Ana in customer service who said that she would look into it. Apparently my business wasn't important to them. Today, I got a call that the car is back. Too late as I needed a car.
Worst new car pickup experience. ever No financing I paid cash but they required I make an appointment for meeting with finance manager. They we 20 minutes late for the appointment. I had told the saleman that I did not want the VIN etching for 195 dollars When I reviewed the dealer invoice the charge was still there. I told the business manager that I did not want any extras like extended warranty or any of the other things they tried to sell me but he said state law required him to tell me about these things. When I finally finished with him and thought I was ready to leave the plates were still not on the car and when they brought the car from around to the front of the building to put the plates on the gas tank was empty. I traveled one hour to pick the car up and it would have been nice if they had the car ready. What should have taken 10 to 15 minutes turned into an hour and half. Will never buy a vehicle there again
From the scheduling to have my car serviced to picking the vehicle up was so easy. The staff was courteous and friendly, Excellent customer service!
My overall experience was a 7 out of 10. I would go back if I needed to, but would do a few things different to be better prepared.
After having my Lincoln for three full days, (despite the fact that I had an early morning appt. on day one, on day 3 I was told that they weren't sure they could even get to it on day 4. I demanded that they return my car tomorrow morning since they were near closing today and will be seeking legal compensation for lying to me and holding my vehicle for 4 days, knowing they could not get to repair in in a reasonably timely manner. I would leave no stars if that was an option.
I have been a loyal customer to Shakers Family Ford for over 20 years. Unfortunately I write this review in disgust. What should have been an insignificant service experience turned into yet another fiasco. My vehicle had developed an annoying creak in the head liner above the driver. In knowing how difficult it could be to duplicate and identify noises I preemptively video recorded not only the noise but EXACTLY how to duplicate it, this was CLEARY noted on the night drop form. At the end of the first day I received a call from Mark (who made it clear he was inconvenienced by speaking to me) informing me that they could not duplicate the noise. I again informed him that the noise could be replicated consistently and easily and that I in fact had a video of it. Mark acknowledged that he was aware of the video but refused to allow me to send it. At the end of the SECOND DAY I had to contact Mark at which time he AGAIN stated they could not duplicate the noise. Only after expressing my dissatisfaction with this did he allow me to share the video. After the third and final day I was told by Mark "the noise is normal." The noise only recently presented itself after nearly two years of ownership. It is NOT normal. I shouldn't have had to fix it myself. I attempted to contact the Service Manager on multiple occasions, despite leaving messages I never even received a call back. Unless you want to be completely disregarded as a customer, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. It is nothing but grief and aggravation for poor service.
