My Review of affordable used cars and finance inc.:
I bought a '94 Mercury Sable with a 3.8l engine in it. Ernest Spence (Salesman) failed to tell me that it had a blown head gasket. I had overheating issues within one week and less than 100 miles after purchase. I replaced the thermostat and continued to have the same issues. These issues included white smoke fromt he exhaust, no heat from the heater, and cyclic over heating as shown on a temp. gauge. I returned to the dealer exactly one week later and was told that there was nothing wrong with the car and that if I wanted to get new head gaskets, they would split the cost with me. I am wondering, why would they offer that if there was no problem with the vehicle. Anyway, I just found out that there is a recall on this car and engine for the head gasket. It does not cover me because I am outside of the time limit. Stear clear of this dealer. They will deny any issues that they probably knew about before they sold you the car.
