My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
took my vehicle, was quoted on a price on repairs, gave the go ahead to to the work, hours later call and asked for more money, told then to forget the repair and told them was going to take it elsewhere, they would no release the vehicle until i payed 300 to for the check out, found it over priced, payed it anyways and told them that i will never return and told then that i will write a review about this dealership, worst experience ever, I will definitely not recommend this dealer to anyone whether they are purchasing a vehicle or sending it for repairs

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
This is the worst dealership i have ever been to in my life. THe customer service was horrible and they were extremely unprofessional. WHen i bought the car they basically hurried me out the door and didnt tell me they need any other informaion from me. Then after a month later they said they made attempts to call me, which they didnt, they said they were needing all this extra information and made me pay my payment to the car dealership since they never got their money from the finance company. They threatened to try and take my car which they couldnt have done because someone on their end screwed up. DO not buy form this dealership they are crooks and will try to hustle you out of more money. They sales men have no knowledge of the cars and their finance department is a joke.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
I went to this dealership on 2007/11/18 to check the validity of a 'prize'. Since I was there, I figured I would see if they had anything that would get me lower monthly payments than what I currently have. I currently owe about $13K on a Ford Taurus which I pay $375/mo. The salesman(David) showed me a Jeep which looked like they just traded it in that day and the previous owners just left everything in there. I told the salesman I didn't want to waste his time because I wasn't interested. He told me that he could probably get me into a new car for the same monthly payments. I wanted to see what he had to offer which was a 2007 Dodge Caliber.

During the course of the 'sale', a manager came to me and said that he could get me the car, but I would have to sell the Taurus myself. I said that I wasn't comfortable with that because I've never sold a car before. He said that if I was unable to sell the car, then I just have to give it back to the bank and my 'beacon' score goes down about 30 points, but I would already be in a new car so I would be building it back up. I still expressed concern about having a reposession and he made it sound like it was no big deal and that the only negative effect is my decreased score. I believed him so I proceeded.

Well, the next day, I found out what happens when a vehicle is reposessed. This guy NEVER made it clear that the vehicle would be auctioned and I would get stuck with the difference. If I had known that, I would not have taken the deal. I tried to return the vehicle in LESS than 24 hours and the same guy tells me how there's no 'cool-off' period in Florida and that there is no returning the car. He said that if I don't sell the car, then just get a loan to pay the difference like it's not a big deal. I spoke to another manager to no avail and then to Julie Morelli.

At first when I told her about the incident, she sounded outraged and asked if she could call me back. Once she called back, her tone was just like everyone else. She asked me what I was looking for. I told her that I either wanted out of the deal, or they need to help me sell my Taurus. Once again, she asked to call back. When she did, she started beating around the bush and suggested things I could do and then finally said that the bottom line is that the car is mine and that they're not going to do anything for me.

The thing that sickens me is that nobody seems to care because they all got what they want. I can't believe that businesses are allowed to operate like this. I checked the BBB and they show 38 complaints in the past 36 months! The ONLY good thing I can say about this place is about David. He was very friendly and just doing his job and I could tell that he didn't feel right about the situation when I went back the next day.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
I have bought 12 cars in my lifetime ( I am 59 yrs old). This dealer has to be the worst dealer I have ever dealt with. They Play lots of games and bounce you around from one deal closer to the next. After spending three hrs there, I stormed out and promised to never go back. If you are looking for a Chrysler product, you would be a fool to go to this dealer.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
I have bought several new cars over the years and I will say that this was the worst experience ever. I went into the dealership to look at a vehicle that I was going to buy eventually. I was looking for a specific hard to find vehicle and they were the only jeep dealership to have one. Their high pressure, "buy it today" sales tactics wore me down and I ended up taking the vehicle with me that day 3 hours later. I am upset with myself for letting them get control and wearing my patience to the point that I just wanted to get it done and get out. They were in such a hurry to get me to take that car that they sent me out of there with a brand new vehicle leaking coolant. They called the next day and told me to bring it back so they could check out a transmission leak that was noticed the day before but wasn't fixed before they sold it. It wasn't even tran fluid it was coolant from a radiator hose that I fixed myself by tightening a clamp with turn of a screwdriver. I agreed to a service contract that, now that I recieved the paperwork by mail, I realize is worthless and covers nothing in addition to the manufacturer's warranty and my maintainence service is going to cost me over $300 per oil change. They used every trick in the book to squeeze every penny out fo me from the vehicle down to the high interest rate they tried to force on me in the financing office. I had to threaten to leave to get the rate to where it should be. If I wouldn't have said anything they would have charged the highest rate they could get away with. The finance manager just changed the rate with a couple of mouse clicks after I told him I would provide the financing with the lowest rate. I should have been patient and waited for the vehicle to arrive at a different dealer after a problem I had with the service department on a recall issue of another car earlier in the year. It was very similar to a previous post, but thats another story.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
my 2005 dodge ram had a check engine light code. first they suggested a $200+ fuel system cleaning service which i refused. They stated that this service is performed on all vehicles when they reach 30,000 miles. My truck has 26,740 miles and I did not find anything about this type of service in the maintenance manual. when i drove my vehicle from the service parking area to the front of the dealer, my truck began to malfunction and the check engine light was back on. I told the service tech that they just reset the computer and needed to do their job and take the truck back into the shop. the next day they stated that they ordered a part "throttle body assembly" and this would fix the problem. I called Customer Service at Chrysler corporate office where i was interviewed by a representative and later received a phone call from the service representative at the dealer questioning me as to why i had called corporate office and how his boss had gotten on his case about not delivering good service. After 8 hours i called the dealer, since i had not heard from them and they said they were ordering another part "power train control module" sounds like a transmission part which i do not think has anything to do with the truck not wanting to idle properly. i was denied a rental car even-though my receipt contained a coupon for a free loaner car with a $350 or more service or repair. The dealer stated that since the repairs were warranty repairs, this did not qualify for the loaner program. I must clarify that the coupon does not state valid only on out-of-warranty repairs or services. i was also forced to call a neighbor to give me a ride from my job to my house since I cannot drive my tractor trailer to my home. I also have to find a ride over to the dealer whenever they decide to call me and tell me the vehicle is ready. I am disappointed with the manner in which Central Florida Dodge handled by case. I will definitely not recommend this dealer to anyone whether they are purchasing a vehicle or sending it for repairs.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
When getting service from a Car dealership you expect to have great service and no hidden or misrepresentation of charges on your bill once the service is done. We turned in our Jeep to the Central Florida Chrysler Jeep Dodge Dealer on 8675 Commodity Circle in Orlando, FL 32819. To start this whole thing off, we called to make an appointment to fix the recall that was on our car. The service representative on the phone advised us that the way they do their services on Saturdays is on a 'first come, first serve basis'. Since when does a DEALERSHIP not accept appointments for services?? Once we arrived to this dealership on January 6th of 2007, we presented our letter for the recall. The service representative told us that they did not do recalls on Saturday, and mentioned another Chystler Jeep dealership that does. Since we were there, we decided to have the vehicle remain there until the job was finished instead of spending our Saturday running around busy Central Florida to drop off a car to be serviced. We gave our information to this representative, while he typed it in on a hand held computer, who said that we needed to be placed in their system so they could contact us before they do additional work and after the job was finished. We mentioned that we would also like an oil change, and to check out the horn because it was not working. We expected them to tell us of all the standard charges before doing anything to our Jeep. The only thing he says is: "We'll get to it as soon as we can" and proceeded to the next customer. This was good enough for us - we brought another car and left. However, once we picked it up on Monday January 8, there was a charge of $95.00 for 'electrical repair'. When we questioned this 'service', the service representative stated it was for a 'computerized diagnostic check'. This was not told to us by the service technician, Frank Muniz, at the time of checking in the Jeep. I then asked a service representative about it and tried to resolve the issue. It was answered with: 'Well...it is in the Florida law to charge for the diagnostic'. I said I understand but it is also in the law to advise the consumer of all charges applied to his or her bill before doing the work. He then says that he will get the service manager, because there was not anything he could do. He did so in an efficient manner. The Service Manager, Mr. Richard Burton, approached us and we shook hands and properly introduced ourselves. I tell him of the problem, and still get nowhere on the issue. While leaning in to show him a specific area of the bill (that Mr. Burton was holding), he then steps back and accuses me of 'getting in his space'. Personally, I think this was his way of stopping the conversation (it was already after 5). The tone of my voice did not change, and was not pointing to anything other than the piece of paper that he was holding in his hand (he also accused me of pointing in his face). Then, I try to talk to the Operations Director, Mr. Tom Grabbe. He was being uncooperative as well. When I asked for his boss's name and phone number, I only get a first name and no number. So his boss Cory _____ will call me back once he returns into town, Friday. It is amazing how much of a run around one gets once the service provider doesn't practice better business.

My Review of central florida chrysler jeep dodge:
called about a 2003 impala in the just release auto trader for $7988; the car was sold but they offered a 2002 ls for the same price and invited me for a test drive. During the test drive I told the rep i was paying cash and wanted a reliable car and had talked about that exact car over the phone the day before. The rep asked me four times if i was going to finance. He also asked me who i worked for, what i did and if I was a single mother. I turned off the ignition after the drive and the rep tried to turn it back on to back it in place. The car hesitated to start. I assumed maybe a old battery or a ignition switch and offered to buy the car if the had it fixed because it had just been traded in 2 days before. At the table he came out with a paper that said 15,988 which is much more than retail value. The sales manager would not budge on the price even though i told him of the prior offer and the starting problems and the value on nadaguides and kelly blue book and black book. I left the dealership and found another car at sun state ford on w colonial that was 2years newer with half the mileage for 12,900. The original person i called tried to get me back in to buy the vehicle for 13475. I declined citing the better offer that i recieved. I was offended because they kept trying to get me to finance over 15k after I clearly said cash over and over and told them i didnt want payments, They also didnt even try to come close to what they offered me over the phone. They didnt lower the price at all until I called them to say i found better. They also seem to try to take advantage of women that they think are single mothers I am actually a married banker with 2kids. I will make sure i tell all my loan clients about my experience.
