My Review of gurley leep motor werks:
I purchased a van from Gurley Leep in April 2006. The salesman, Mike Hoy, was very helpful and made the experience great. However, as part of a promotion I was to receive a $500 gas card with my purchase. Mr. Hoy advised me that the card would be mailed to me in mid May. On or about May 20, I still had not received the gas card. My wife contacted the dealership and was told that the card should arrive within a few days. After about 4 days, my wife again called and was told the same as before. After several more phone calls she was told to come in a pick it up. She made contact with Mr. Hoy’s manager (Gino?) who still could not produce results. The first trip resulted in no card. Finally, after numerous phone calls and trip, the card was finally available on June 16. My frustration comes from the numerous attempts and failures in obtaining this card. I fully blame Gurley Leep management for this delay and absolve Mr. Hoy from any blame. There are many stories about dealerships forgetting about the customer after the sale and I fully understand and believe these stories now. It is for this reason that I will never buy another vehicle from any Gurley Leep dealership and plan to tell my friends, co-workers, and any other person that will listen. The most frustrating issue was not once did anyone, besides Mr. Hoy, apologize for this problem. I know this memo will fall on deaf ears/blind eyes and nothing will ever come from it but I felt someone should know what a lack of compassion Gurley Leep management has for its customers.

My Review of gurley leep motor werks:
Bought brand new 2005 Nissan Murano, 13 miles on it. Only have had it for a month, but haven't actuall HAD it. I've been able to drive it for 6 days out of that month it's been in the dealership service dept all the other days. Long story short...gas leaking out of the gas tank from underneath the car and they tell me nothing is wrong with it. Hey guys, I have video and pictures of the gas leaking out of the car while my family was in it on vacation.

My Review of gurley leep motor werks:
I decided to finally get rid of my 14 year old Saturn with over 250,000 miles to get a newer vehicle. They put me into the car I wanted and by the very next day I had it back in their shop. The car was not shifting correctly. I was informed (after 4 days) that nothing was wrong and that these vehicles typically 'shift hard.' I took the car to Honda - they recommended to have the transmission flushed to start - took the car back to CarMax, they did that and the 'hard shift' was mysteriously gone. After 2 more weeks, the check engine light came on. I called, they had me bring the car back in. After 5 days, I was advised that the distributor was bad. They replaced it and advised me the car was ready for pick up. Less than 2 miles from the place and the car broke down. They told me the distributor they used must have been 'bad.' Whatever!

I scheduled a meeting with the location GM - very nice - put me into another car - same model but a newer year (2001). To this day, I am still having problems with this car as well. The torque converter went out on the car - over 3,000 for needed repairs - needless to say I fought so much, they did pay for the cost. I am still having problems with this car and not one time has anyone called me to follow up.

CarMax service SUCKS and their technicians have NO CLUE of what they are doing. It takes FOREVER to get anything accomplished

My Review of gurley leep motor werks:
Every time I have visited University Park Chrysler I have been treated pleasantly and they have explained the work required in detail. I feel confident they know what they do and do it well. I have had my 1996 Sebring serviced there since 1997 and my husband and I have purchased two vehicles from their dealership. Our Jeep Grand Cherokee served us well for 4 years and now we own a 2003 Mitsubishi Endeavor, one of the finest SUV's I have ever driven. I would recommed the Gurley Leep team to anyone.

My Review of gurley leep motor werks:
The day we drove our 99 dodge durango off the lot, it broke down. They kept it for a total of 2 weeks trying to find out the problem. Then 8 months later, we had to take it to another mechanic for the ball joints & tire rods. The Mechanic stated that Gurley Leep new exactly what they sold us. (YEAH 125 point inspection??) Now, after a year and a 1/2 the motor blew and that had to be replaced---plus the sensors are now all whacked out. We understand Wear & Tear, but we have only had our vehicle for a year and a half. We bought new tires for the darn thing and now it looks like it needs yet another alignment. Total cost of damage??? Around $3000 of course on top of the interest and payments we are paying for the piece of junk! Gurley Leep on Grape Road-STINKS! They not only sold us a lemon---but they KNOWINGLY sold a piece of crap that could have endangered my family.
