I am sure there are other used dealers with integrity, but how many back up their sales with a years free oil changes?? In my opinion Pool Auto prove their integrity to their customers. I was new to Rochester this year & found Pool by chance via internet used auto eval sites that listed a number of Pool's cars as top value for the money. I was looking for Honda or Toyota wagons in the 3-7K range, and found a Pontiac Vibe (the vibe is actually a Toyota Matrix in a pontiac body) and got it almost 1k under blue book value from Pool. Don't expect to bargain much as their prices are already super low, and they are firm on this because they know what they are selling you inside & out. Because they also run a service center you can put the car up and look under or inside as part of the process. Their mechanics have already saved me hundreds by showing & explaining how to care for my car over the last few months during my year of free oil changes. If you don't want a new car nor want to deal with a dealer, this is the place to go. You get a great discount for those cars with just a bit more milage than a dealer would sell, they work with Dealers so they can get the best offers that are either a bit too old or more milage than a dealer wants to deal with. My 2007 Vibe was in excellent shape for its miles & age, and is providing me reliability, as every week I put hundreds of miles on it for my commute. I can't say enough good things about this family run auto service & sales company.

Worst experience I've ever had with a car dealership made all of my payments to them then received a letter after my final payment that I owed them a 2500 buy out by my next payment date! Couldn't pay it all so they came out took my car and the next after begging and borrowing I called DAVE O'DONOGHUE with the payment and I was told HE sold my vehicle! As you can imagine I now am spending that 2500 on a lawyer!!! *****BUYER BEWARE****** ****CROOKS***** CONTACTED THEIR MANAGEMENT SPOKE TO JOHN LOMBARDI HE TOLD ME I'LL CALL YOU RIGHT BACK AFTER I FIGURE SOME THINGS OUT... My finances became a mess over the past few years leaving me with a very low credit score. So when I could not get a conventional loan from a bank, I had to find a "buy here, pay here" car. I figured I'd end up with an overprices piece of junk. I ended up with a great running car that I needed for work. There were a few problems that needed to be resolved and even though it took two months for parts to come in, Vogel fixed up the car without any hassles.
This has been one of the best car buying experiences during the 30+ years of life. I recommend Vogel to anyone who has poor credit by needs a car!

I worked with Mike Caruana. Upon delivery of my vehicle with is only 2 years old it needed 4 new tires immediately. When I called them they said because of my credit situation they couldn't put new tires on it because it would increase the price. My seatbelt is twisted my brakes are less than half. I would expect more out of a car with a sticker price of over 18k.

I purchased a car from the above dealer. I asked that give or get a key fob for the purchased vehicle. They said sorry we wont or cant do that. I just spent 8200.00 and gave them 1300 cash down. There response was it the consumers responsibility. Why should i pay 250 dollars for a fob that should of came with the vehicle.

Tried selling me crap car for a high price. Then when we found a car we liked and they showed it, few minutes later they lied and said they're not selling it its going back...still on lot for sale a week later. Horrible service no organization.
Took them a week to get the car I was looking at to get ready to go.

Long story shortly walked into the dealership at 5:25pm to speak with the finance manager to get a refund for an extended warranty I no longer have because of a trade in. The customer service was unprofessional, and rediculous! We waiting until 7:05pm before walking out with no help! We spoke with a sales person who stated she can't tell the finance manager we were there because she can't go in the office. Ok well call him? Knock on the door? Leave a note? Something!!!!! Instead she made us wait with no resolution!!!!!!! This place is so unprofessional everyone is dressed and looked unprofessional! We over heard sales men making fun of a customer! Who does that? They over price everything and try to make you think you're getting a fantastic deal, when in reality you are NOT! Please don't go here! Don't waste your time! Go to a dealership who cares and does not consider you a number or dollar signs!!!!!! Can I give a negative rating? 1-10 I'd say -100!

In our search for a good used car for my son we came across this absolute loser.... Very shady. Would not answer our questions. When we started to ask questions he dismissed us and told us to get off his lot. He said we were not buyers and that we were there to "bust his chops" when I pointed out that the information he was giving me did not match the information on Carfax this guy got very defensive. It became very clear that this guy was lying to us. He did not like the fact that they we were asking questions. That struck me as very odd. I mean seriously, who buys a car without asking questions? After looking closely at this guys cars I realized that they were nothing but junk. I have never come across such a shady character like this in my life! This guy just screamed "Hi I'm a crook and I'm going to lie to you just to get your money"
He told me that he did not think that I was a buyer, after the 5 minutes we were on the "lot". I didn't have the heart to tell him that I had several thousand dollars in cash in my wallet LOL! Mistake buddy huge huge huge mistake! Thank God we got off that "lot" and bought a car down the road in Hamburg, which was better and from a better dealership.
