Very Good - bbacon
Brian was excellent and not overly pushy. The car was priced very reasonably and they made sure that it was in the best shape it could be before allowing it to leave the lot.
Excellent fast transaction - Jim Westbrook

I would let friends and family know about crazy cheap cars. - Raincoat

Would recommend Jim White's to anyone! - Greg
I was looking for a car for my fiance and I we found a great deal at Jim White's! The staff was great-very friendly and inviting! Rich offered us top dollar for our trade and even got us a super low 2.25% interest rate on our loan! When we were ready to finalize the deal everyone stayed after closing to accommodate our work schedules. We even drove off with a full tank of gas! Couldn't be happier!
Great experience - LCBroderick

Excellent service with no high pressure ! - Fay Fisher
We are leasing 2 Rav 4's from Northtown after having 2 2012 Rav 4's. Worked with Danny Rubino and Shaun Roberts. Second time of leasing Rav 4's. They are so friendly and helpful in every way. No high pressure that you may have experienced at other dealerships. They are there to make you feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way. I would highly recommend Northtown to anyone and have done so. They make purchasing simply, relaxing, and most of all a pleasure to do business with. That to me is very classy to say the least. Now hoping to take my sister there and get her something she loves. Thanks Danny and Shaun, also the other financial manager I spoke with(sry don't remember his name)for making the our experience pleasurable! Wouldn't think of going anywhere else. They actually make you feel like family!
highest in value & honesty - joneveman
I am sure there are other used dealers with integrity, but how many back up their sales with a years free oil changes?? In my opinion Pool Auto prove their integrity to their customers. I was new to Rochester this year & found Pool by chance via internet used auto eval sites that listed a number of Pool's cars as top value for the money. I was looking for Honda or Toyota wagons in the 3-7K range, and found a Pontiac Vibe (the vibe is actually a Toyota Matrix in a pontiac body) and got it almost 1k under blue book value from Pool. Don't expect to bargain much as their prices are already super low, and they are firm on this because they know what they are selling you inside & out. Because they also run a service center you can put the car up and look under or inside as part of the process. Their mechanics have already saved me hundreds by showing & explaining how to care for my car over the last few months during my year of free oil changes. If you don't want a new car nor want to deal with a dealer, this is the place to go. You get a great discount for those cars with just a bit more milage than a dealer would sell, they work with Dealers so they can get the best offers that are either a bit too old or more milage than a dealer wants to deal with. My 2007 Vibe was in excellent shape for its miles & age, and is providing me reliability, as every week I put hundreds of miles on it for my commute. I can't say enough good things about this family run auto service & sales company.
2013 Jeep Compass - waxbottle
This is the third SUV I purchased from Galaxy Auto Place. Each time I have had a excellent vehicle for the money I spent. Excellent sale man Randy Jackson and helped obtain a additional key for this Jeep at a Jeep Dealership. When I will be in the market for another car Galaxy will be my first stop.

Amazing - Charkram
My sales rep Alex was amazing. 100% satisfied with everything he did for me and my buying experience. The process was fast and extremely easy compared to past experiences from other dealerships. Highly recommend that ppl stop in and look around before buying somewhere else.
Horrible - Angel
This dealership is there to take advantage of you. They do not stand behind their sales or their service! I would not recommend them. I can not even tell you how many times I have been back to have my vehicle services. The problem was fixed I was told and within less then 24hrs the check engine light was back on called again and was told oh we can't do anything today we close at 4. Not according to your website.
Bad credit equals bad service - Deservebetter716
I worked with Mike Caruana. Upon delivery of my vehicle with is only 2 years old it needed 4 new tires immediately. When I called them they said because of my credit situation they couldn't put new tires on it because it would increase the price. My seatbelt is twisted my brakes are less than half. I would expect more out of a car with a sticker price of over 18k.
Hefty price for cheap cars! - Kbaych
And when i say cheap, i mean terrible pieces of garbage! The cars are nothing but piles of junk. I bought my car and two weeks after i purchased it i started to have problems with the transmission. Needed to get a brand new transmission in it! Now a year later the car is having transmission problems AGAIN when it shouldnt be! The dont fix anything the way it needs to be fixed and give lame excuses for why things go at a snails pace. Took almost 2 months for my registration to come in the mail. Oh, and credit acceptance? Garbage! They do not work with you on ANYTHING! my credit is even worse now because of buying this hunk of scrap metal.
run away fast - nickja
Worsted ever nithing works and head mechanic and manager useless try to make you buy parts that are under warant and then keep it for days and dont get to it then tell you some line of crap had for week and wont even drive peace of trash
Bad experience - rdiaz716
Got 2005 VW Passat on on 7/13/16, that very evening while with my dealer the strut messes up, and progressively got worst through out the night. They wouldn't do anything for it the very next day! Nelson the "Manager said what do i expect for a 11 year old. I expect for a $7000 car not to need something fix the very next day.
This wasn't going to be the last car i bought in my life and may be the last car i buy from them. They give me a $400 quote to fix and this is with me getting the parts at cost???? I had the car checked out by Empire Auto Werkes, and it will be $270. This just shows that something isn't right! More or less i am not getting what i was explained.
Today is Sunday 7/17/16 and my check engine light is on and my muffler has a hole in it, and is making it very loud. I intend to go tomorrow, but i just feel they will not do anything for me at this point and it has not even been a week yet. I have big regrets going here so far. If anything changes i will be more then happy to change my review.
CAN I AT LEAST DRIVE AROUND THE BLOCK A COUPLE OF TIMES BEFORE THE CAR STARTS TO BREAK?
Since this last review. I had a gas leak and continuous check engine lights and epc light. Every time I have brought the car into this location I do not get any sort of paper. The gas leak was fixed, but check this out. The car was inspected by awesome motors and they sent the car back to awesome motors to be fix???????. Since when does a dealership does not inspect their own cars before they leave the facility to a new customer ( no paper work on this and was told to go to awesome motors to get the paper work. but I bought the car at transit towne). I have asked multiple times for the EPC codes to be checked but haven't and not paperwork every time I have gone in and out. I just think this is because they want this car to make it pass the 30 days lemon law warranty and there is no proof I have been in there without paper work. I had this EPC code checked by empire auto werkes and found to be that it is a crank sensor and still has a evape leak pending. What a nightmare of a car and I'm the bad guy cause I chose this car??????
Horrible customer service and sell you broken vehicles - Anonymous Bitch to Doug
My vehicle I purchased was a 2014. I was lied to and was never told it was from a car rental place..who knows how many "owners" have had it. It also has 15 different things wrong with it and they won't help with a loaned car.
Horrible! Lies! Dishonest! STAY AWAY!!! - timstone
STAY AWAY!! STAY AWAY!! CROOKED! LIES!!
In our search for a good used car for my son we came across this absolute loser.... Very shady. Would not answer our questions. When we started to ask questions he dismissed us and told us to get off his lot. He said we were not buyers and that we were there to "bust his chops" when I pointed out that the information he was giving me did not match the information on Carfax this guy got very defensive. It became very clear that this guy was lying to us. He did not like the fact that they we were asking questions. That struck me as very odd. I mean seriously, who buys a car without asking questions? After looking closely at this guys cars I realized that they were nothing but junk. I have never come across such a shady character like this in my life! This guy just screamed "Hi I'm a crook and I'm going to lie to you just to get your money"
He told me that he did not think that I was a buyer, after the 5 minutes we were on the "lot". I didn't have the heart to tell him that I had several thousand dollars in cash in my wallet LOL! Mistake buddy huge huge huge mistake! Thank God we got off that "lot" and bought a car down the road in Hamburg, which was better and from a better dealership.
Submitted an application for credit online and was... - dpham10382
Submitted an application for credit online and was contacted by Martina just after Christmas 2012. Very nice on the initial consult. Once all the information was collected I was on my way. Over the next few days worked on getting a car that would work with the loan agreement. At this point we had been handed off to Lou since Martina was very busy. We were shown a nice 2010 Hyundai Elantra that was very nice with the exception of a few costmetic dings inside the car. We were shown a good record of service and the vehicle had only 5000 miles on it so we decided to buy it and were told that there was a warranty in effect on the car until September or 36000 miles, which ever came first.
About 3 months after purchasing the car I noticed flakes of paint comming off the car, so I contacted the dealership and was told that I would have to take it to a Hyundai dealer. Fine enough with me since it was still under warranty. Well apparently the car had been painted so the representation that it was still under warranty was false. The service guy was able to tell it had been painted from about 15 feet away so why couldn't the dealer. He even pointed out the tape line and sure enough under the mirror there was making tape. He said that the prep job was really poor and even pointed out dirt stuck under the paint.I figured the dealer didn't want to warranty the work and was making things up so I took it to 2 other shops in the area which all said the same thing. So now I'm stuck with a nice car that needs a paint job to 1 whole side of the car which will cost me around 1600 from the dealer, which was "warrantied". Buyer Beware. Stay Away.
