I had a positive experience buying my first car. My parents were helping during the process and my dad called him and wanted the bottom line price with no fluff or games. Vince was straight forward, kind, and courteous to deal with and made the experience a smooth and positive experience. He took time to let me try parallel parking the car and get a feel for driving an SUV to see if I would feel comfortable. He offered us a gift card for driving 2 hours to come and look at the car. Super friendly, kind, caring and just all around genuinely nice. We went in there knowing we couldn't afford much and that we couldn't go over a certain price range. He gave me something newer, cost more but the payments were the same as the older vehicle I was looking at! He really took care of us!

My fiancé and I had been looking to buy a SUV, and had our mind set on a Durango. We didn't get the Durango, but our salesman, Donald Bentley, introduced us to the 2017 Dodge Journey. At first the Journey was out of the question( for me anyway). But Donald refused the let us leave unsatisfied. Long story short we bought the Journey, and Donald made it so easy!! First off service advice I habe felt with is great, Greg did not do anything wrong at all very nice guy. Called to make appointment to get a campaign done that I received in the mail in my 2016 ram 3500. Brought the truck in on the appointed date. Repairs in letter from ram said a 2 hour repair. That was not the case. On day 3 the campaign was finished. Then I was told the other concerned I had when I made the appointment needed parts to fix the issue. ( Why were parts not ordered on the first Day? Especially when it was noted that there may a issue.) So them the next day comes around and still no truck. After I reach out to service department yet again for a update I get a response of the parts that were ordered came in danger so it will be tomorrow b4 we get more. So the folding day I yet again to reach out to find out what going on with my truck. Finally I was told it us fixed and ready to pick up. So I go pick the truck up and drive home. I get home a begin to look at truck, I notice oil/ greasy had prints in many locations on the truck, the notice the is oil dripping from oil pan,also dripping from transmission pan, she'll that was not all. I then look under the hood to find more issues, oil all over the engine compartment, then to set me off the splash shield they had to take out to perform the exhaust leak issue is now missing clips/ bolts. The exhaust leak issue I had is now is more noticeable than when I dropped it off. The response I got from service department was I habe to words for what has happened but I can have my manager call you on Monday since he is in vacation. They were nice enough to give me a rental car while the truck was now, I got a little jeep compass(keep in mind I drive a 4 door 4wd long bed dually) since truck was not done by Thursday I had to not leave for vacation like planed, jeep compass don't pull a 11 pound camper. Still didn't get truck back until 4pm Friday so yet another vacation day was wasted, and had to cancel it period. Horrible experience

While traveling from Florida to the Atlanta area late one night we noted a terrible stench close to our destination. Upon further inspection underneath the hood, a truly horrible odor was coming from the smoking battery. The next day, we took the car to the Paulding Chrysler Jeep service department who determined there were no codes and there was nothing wrong with the car. On our return trip a week later, we again noted the noxious odor from the battery(again smoking) so quickly located the nearest jeep dealership which happened to be Warner Robins Chrysler Jeep Dodge. This was on a Saturday afternoon around 1:40 pm. And closing time would be 3 pm. We were at least 3 hours from home. We really did not wish to spend 2 nights in a hotel and were hoping for a good resolution to this problem. Brandon Mullins, the service writer, was very professional and sympathetic to our situation. He was very helpful in immediately connecting us to Chris Self, the technician who was very knowledgeable and willing to quickly assess the situation. They both worked beyond the normal closing time to make sure that we were back safely on the road. We are very grateful to them and highly appreciative of their professionalism toward two very stressed and almost stranded travelers.

Terrible service department - Jeep
Worst service department ever! I ordered a spare key when I purchased my Jeep and had to call 3 separate times because no one could identify the order for the key! Was told twice they would call me right back and I had to call the next day...to then talk to another person who had no clue what was going on. When I finally made an appointment to get the key programmed to my car they told me it would take 45 minutes to an hour. I arrived at 9 am for my appointment and 2 hours later I asked how much longer and they told me 30 more minutes. They said the amount of time they told me was based on when they started working on the car and it didn't matter that I made an appointment because they had other cars to service before mine.

I went in for an oil change and a detail. They gave me my car back half detailed and 2 cracked headlights. The owner refused to replace my headlights in which they cracked. The owner is very rude and disrespectful and sure don't care about his customers.I called the police to the dealership to make a report. When I left I took my car straight to the dodge dealership on hwy 120 and had my car checked out. I was told the buford dodge dealership sprayed some chemicals on my headlights which caused them to crack and they gave me a price of $2,443.90 to replace my lights. Please save yourself a headache and go to dodge on pleasant hill rd or the one on hwy 120 which have very experienced worker's and not hiring anybody off the streets sucking up your cars.

I have been purchasing my company cars from Milton Ruben for many years. Love the jeep hate the service. I was assured this time would be different if I gave them another chance. It's not. Negative devise advisor. Quick to tell you what the can't do. Never stating they will do all they can. Stuck on "appointments " cars do not make one prior to breaking down. I travel and they could care less if I miss work due to this. Will not commit to when they will even look at the car. Not shocked. They will never change!

Terrible. Called and was told I could get the same deal on a jeep Cherokee that I was quoted a month and 5 days prior without pulling my credit once again ( qualified for 0% the month before ) to find out when I get there they do need to pull again because I was 5 days too late. After pulling credit was given price quote on exact same vehicle as month before but this time it was $3000 more along with my trade being $500 less making what was a $400 a month payment then now somewhere between $450-$475. What a waste of time and a rip off.

The manager assigned to my car very helpful as far as explaining tire wear and rotation results. He came and talked to me to give me updates when my car was being serviced too. I have had 4 recalls and one oil tire rotation service done at Akin. I was able to talk with the service rep assigned to my car. Usually I find they just take the vehicle and do what ever then you pay ...done. Not at Akin! They are polite and check back with you periodically. The waiting area has complimentary drinks and computer area for you to use. I noticed many people were working on computers as they got car service done. Bathrooms are big and clean as well. I always have had a great service experience at Akin and will buy my next car there. We have been impressed with the phone communication as we go through the recalls on all 3 of our Dodge vehicles. Akin people have made it easy to stay in touch as we waited for airbags to become available Very impressive. Thank you.
