This is my second time posting a review, because Volvo had it removed. Our car was picked up from our driveway by Volvo for routine servicing and returned to us with a 2 foot crack in the windshield. This crack was not there prior. Volvo's protocol is to take photos of your car (as is all dealerships/car rental companies) BEFORE they drive your car to document any damage. This was not done, they said their app wasn't working but the valet had an iPhone so could have used his camera. They took a photo later at the dealership after driving our car, claiming it was likely a tiny chip that spread once on the lift. They called after service and said they could repair the crack for $1600. This crack happened on their watch, if they did not document any chip or crack before they drove our car, then it happened on their watch. They did not follow their own protocol and refuse to take any responsibility. The service department and dealership owner have been rude, unprofessional, and unresponsive. We have never been so disappointed with service anywhere, it is completely unacceptable to have your car returned from routine service with a 2 foot crack in your windshield. We own 3 Volvos, and will never return there.

I’ve leased my Volvo XC90 for three years and I’m now buying it off a lease. It’s been the perfect car and I love it. Today I brought it into the service center and got the same quality service I have for the last three years. They gave me a ride home after I dropped the car, and picked me back up when my car was done. Everyone I came in contact with had a great attitude. They make my car maintenance completely hassle free.

I recently had my car repaired here. I dropped my car off and was told it would be ready in 12 days for pick up. On the estimated date I had not received a single update the whole time my car was in the shop, so I called and was told it should be ready the following monday (3 days later). I received no phone call monday, so I called them around 3pm, to be told it would be ready Wednesday. I spoke to the secretary and asked for her to call me and leave a voicemail on Wednesday with an update if the car was ready or not since I work night and would likely be sleeping, she agreed. I received no phone call, and when I called at 3pm again, she yelled at me, saying she didn't get an update until I called and she had to ASK while I was on the phone with her. She then proceeded to yell at me, saying the car won't be ready until Friday, and that I can NOT call her, that she would call me. Guess what? Friday came, no call. Called Monday, at open, didn't get a return call till 2pm saying the car was ready. 12 days, was now 21. When I picked my car up, there was a box of car parts on my passenger seat, my driver door speakers. They refused to put them back in saying they were broken when dropped off, which they were not. They were left for the manager to contact me, who still has not. The chrome pieces on my door were never put back, and part of my side view mirror was never assembled so wires are hanging out of it. I have reached out to the manager 3 times. No response STILL. Reached out to my insurance, and am taking my car to a different dealer because this was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had with a collision center. They are truly unprofessional, unreliable, and should not be trusted with the repairs of anyone's car.

We drive all the way from Brookfield to Litchfield to have our Volvo serviced. We love and trust Steve Norton. He always takes care of our problems. He always manages to fit us in somehow, even when it appears that he's full of cars to be repaired already. Ed in parts is helpful,too. Wouldn't go anywhere else. The Baldwins

Worst body shop I've been to. They'd have done a better job at Macao. After Joe telling me he'd work the deductible in for me, they call me once it's finished to tell me that it's all set but I have to pay the deductible. I figured no big deal so I went down to pay and pick up my truck. Upon examining my truck, they didn't prep the truck correctly and I had a flaw over a foot long that nobody even checked over or looked at before they tried giving it back to me. While letting joe know that i was upset over the issue, he displayed his poor customer service skills by walking away from me mid conversation and going into the back. Grated i wasnt yelling or being a dick, just talking. After a weekend of having my truck still and them racing through it again, there's still a section that they never fixed. I paid to get it out of there out of their hands. First off, how do you give a car away with a huge imperfection, then bang through it and still have it look like crap? Very unreliable and rushed here.

I am very picky about who works on my car and this shop was terrific! I know about cars and they didn't try to sell me work I didn't need nor did they pressure me into any "extra" services. All their recommendations were spot on and their prices are competitive but there was no pressure to "get it done now." Times are tough these days, and I felt like they understood that and would work out a time frame with me and prioritized my car issues to help out the old wallet! I definately will refer my friends to these guys!

The dealership is also undergoing some construction now - seems like a big update/upgrade is being worked on, excited to see how it looks with the refresh.

This Review is on the Volvo Dealership in Watertown CT Made an appointment to have my airbag replaced under The warrenty/ recall program. Decided while I was there to have 2 other items taken care of: Engine Oil change Dash cluster was not lit in a small area First up: Oil Change, I specifically asked for Sythentic oil, they said it was not needed. But I said clearly that this is what I put in my car. Please put in Sythentic oil. When they told the car was ready, I started it and immediately could feel that they lied to me, the engine was running rough with vibration felt in cabin, louder noise heard on highway. I drove the car this way for 2 months, brought the car back to shop That I typicaly use for work, had another oil changed performed= Back to normal, no vibration & no noise. Not only did the dealership lie to me, they almost cost me my car’s engine! Second up: Dash board cluster, Was told the whole cluster needed to be replaced. I asked how much? Was told they would let me know because they Didn’t know if it was even available anymore here in the US. When car was given back I asked again “how much for a new cluster?” Still no answer, was told they would call me. Never got a call. So I called The dealership back & again asked “how much for the cluster?” They still didn’t know & they never called me back with the answer. Brought the car back to the shop that I typically use for work, They gently pulled the cluster out, replaced 2 little bulbs = all set, Good as new. In summary, the Volvo dealership in Watertown CT is clearly not interested in listening to their customers nor do they care about keeping your car on the road. Thankfully I have a nice shiny new airbag/airbag cover on my steering wheel now …. But it wasn’t free for me after all.
