Since my first time at Bachman and working with Drew I have been back to purchase my wife a 2016 Passat, and today we put in an order for my 2013 Jetta TDI replacement. With VW's recall of all TDIs, I was worried about making sure I had a car ready to goatee my buyback. I talked to Drew and he had me come in to figure out what I'd be happy with. I ended up placing an order for a 2017 GTI, should be here in a couple of months. Needless to say, I still feel the same about Bachman VW and Drew Redmond. I will continue to do all of my car buying business through Drew, he understands what buying a car should be like. If you buy a VW anywhere in Louisville I feel sorry for you.
The best car buying experience I have had. I came across a good deal they had listed on a 2013 Jetta TDI and decided to go check it out. They were open and upfront about everything throughout the whole process. Drew, our salesman, was young and personable. He seemed to genuinely want what was best for us, not just another commission in the book. He was patient with us and our kids, 6 and 3, and did everything he could to work with our schedule. They allowed our kids to play in Herbie, the highlight of their day. I highly recommend checking out Bachman VW for your next vehicle, and talk to Drew Redmond when you get there. He went the extra step to call a week later and check on us and the car, and has earned my future business.

Friendly, Respectful this is how I would describe Don Jacobs service dept. Brian gives customer service that is lacking in so many businesses today. Brian makes it a point to know u and your car. Brian gives personalized customer service. I am forever a VW Don Jacobs customer.

Service manager refused to do an alignment which I... - segfault
Service manager refused to do an alignment which I specifically requested, claimed the reason my car was pulling to the right was a leaking tire on the right side, which they patched. Failed to do a tire inspection which was required as part of the 20,000 mile interval service on a Jetta. Had they done this they would have noticed feathering at the inside edges of the tires, indicating an alignment problem. After I made another appointment to get an alignment, they billed me for an alignment without performing one. Tim French, the owner of the dealership, eventually refunded the money I paid them for the alignment after I presented an invoice from another alignment shop showing that the car had not been aligned at Montgomery Imports.
They made little to no effort to resolve the chronic rattles and engine knock in my Jetta. Another dealership eventually found a bad intake manifold changeover valve as the cause of the engine noise and put foam under the VIN plate to fix the rattle.
