80,000 mile service - MSUT14
I went for my first dealer service at Kerry VW since purchasing my 2009 CC over a year ago. I did the online service portal and all my information was entered. I was greeted pleasantly and they had my appointment. Then they went over other services I might want to add, but these services were to cost more than 300% higher than what I went in for. Also, the online portal did not mention any cost for upgrading the wipers, but I understood these wipers were premium as most things on my CC are. So I agreed to pay the extra amount for the wipers. I was told the service would take a couple hours, this was very reasonable.
I was called by staff almost exactly two hours later, that my CC was finished, and that they got the amount adjusted to include the wipers along with my 80,000 mile service.
I arrived and was told that the VW website had issues but they honored what it had told me, even after I had been ok with paying for the wipers. That was a very nice gesture and was very happy that they did this. The 80,000 mile checks were done comprehensively and my CC is riding much better already. The tire switch has a bit of a rough ride but this will smooth out in a few hundred miles.
Overall I was impressed with their operation and staff. I will certainly go back to this location, and recommend Kerry VW to others.

VW brake light - AclayVWjetta
I have a 2010 VW Jetta limited that was throwing a brake light and beep sound every few days, then became daily. I have an extended warranty but was told at an oil change (tire discounters) that's the fluid or sensor could be the problem. Merrit was awesome at DJ VW, he told me to pull in, 10 minutes before they opened and checked brakes, fluid and pedal. In less than 10 minutes he had my brake fluid topped off, the light and beeping gone and didn't even charge me for the top off! Thanks Don Jacobs VW service department.

Service manager refused to do an alignment which I... - segfault
Service manager refused to do an alignment which I specifically requested, claimed the reason my car was pulling to the right was a leaking tire on the right side, which they patched. Failed to do a tire inspection which was required as part of the 20,000 mile interval service on a Jetta. Had they done this they would have noticed feathering at the inside edges of the tires, indicating an alignment problem. After I made another appointment to get an alignment, they billed me for an alignment without performing one. Tim French, the owner of the dealership, eventually refunded the money I paid them for the alignment after I presented an invoice from another alignment shop showing that the car had not been aligned at Montgomery Imports.
They made little to no effort to resolve the chronic rattles and engine knock in my Jetta. Another dealership eventually found a bad intake manifold changeover valve as the cause of the engine noise and put foam under the VIN plate to fix the rattle.
