Buying process was a near all day process but this has always been my experiencing buying a new car. The Internet rep gave me helpful info, answered all my questions in a timely manner AND provided the best price right up front.

The service rep went over all the features while sitting in the car with me. Very knowledgeable and helpful!

As soon as we arrived at Curry Nissan, Stephen Clarke, went out of his way to introduce himself to us and welcome us to the dealership. Once we sat down and began discussing different options, Steve was very detailed and made sure he knew exactly what we were looking for. After getting all of the details, Steve informed us about a 2016 Nissan Rogue. Steve then went and brought the Rogue around from the back, to us, so we could test drive it. Before, we did the test drive, Steve went into specific detail about all the the Rogue's features. While on the test drive, Steve continued to share his knowledge about the vehicle and then discussed the history of Curry Nissan and the one of a kind services and warranties Curry Nissan provides. Once we returned back from the test drive, we discussed with Steve what we could afford and he presented us with a few options we could go with. After about a half hour of negotiation, Steve and the sales manager, Fitz, offered us a deal we simply could not pass up. Steve and the rest of the Curry Nissan family truly go out of their way to do what is best for the customer. My 2008 Nissan Rogue had died due to a bunch of issues. I was upside down in a loan now for a car that didn't work. I by chance had my car towed to Bertera because of the issues my car was having and it needed to be at a dealership. When I got there I had informed them that I would rather not fix my car and try to get into a new one. While I was expecting a downgrade because of my budget and current situation, these men somehow got me in a newer bigger vehicle within my price range, they also extended the warranty to 100,000 miles. They went out of their way for me and my family to make sure I had a reliable vehicle. I worked wit Jim and Amir and I feel like they were my car angels!

Although the deal did not go trough as is it was expected on buying first car from Clay Nissan I have to say Fifi is the greatest! she's patient, caring and wants to be the best help he can be, she did not give up, she did not lose her temper, she remained sincere, caring and polite feel and did not make me feel pressured to buy. We have been purchasing/leasing our cars at Coastal Nissan for the past 15 years or so and have no intentions of ever changing to any other dealership. We tend to turn our cars in every few years and have always received the utmost professional help and best deals and have never been disappointed in the servicing of any vehicle. We have worked primarily with Tom DiPesa and we couldn't receive better service. Since our first car purchase, Tommy has always been there to help us in any area (which he recently showed us once again). We believe that Tom and Coastal go the extra mile and provide the extra something that keeps us coming back to them. Great job!!

I may represent a minority: I travelled over an hour to purchase a specific car at a good deal from Balise Nissan. As for that, I'm pleased with the purchase -- the car, the price, the trade-in, etc. Minimum amount of haggling drama.
But...when it came to the actual process, they seemed like a bunch of amateurs. First, after agreeing to buy, the salesman let me walk away w/o signing important papers -- like a purchase agreement, trade-in paperwork, etc. [this is supposed to be what they do for a living, so they should know what has to be done at each stage of the process -- no?] So I had to drive back there (RT = 2 hours) to sign paperwork and get official. Irritatingly, I could not do that just anytime, but on a specific day and a specific time, because they "didn't have anyone there at the dealership authorized to sign THEIR paperwork at any other time". Huh??? I asked how many people were authorized to deal with paperwork. Answer -- two. For the whole dealership. Period. And on the day I wanted to come, neither one was present. [does that mean the dealership couldn't sell cars that day????]
When I did arrive to sign the paperwork, there was a long discussion about my address (I get mail at a PO Box) No one seemed to know which address (physical or mail) was necessary on the title, so I ended up signing two versions of every piece of paperwork with an address. After this was worked out, I needed to supplement the final bank check with a small amount b/c they had underestimated the DMV fees by $45. When I looked at the receipt, they had charged me $4500!!! So this had to be corrected. After this visit, I had to drive back a third time to actually pick up the car. But…. This trip was also a waste because they hadn’t registered the car. At first, they wanted to blame backups at DMV. But when I noted that I could see DMV wait times online, they confessed they had been rejected twice because of errors in their paperwork. By the time I finally got my car (they ended up driving it to me), I was wondering if my bargain was worth it. The salesmen were friendly but seemed clueless about paperwork, and the business guy seemed over his head.
I understand that perhaps I shouldn’t have gone so far for a deal, but really.... I did this kind of long-distance purchase about three years ago and only had two visits to the dealer -- one to negotiate the purchase and sign paperwork and the second to drop off the final check and pick up the car. That dealer seemed much more knowledgeable and organized about paperwork and the process and really assisted me in the purchase. These guys seemed like they were doing this for the maybe the first time ever and had no real clue.

I really wasn't in the market for a car for about 6 months, but I was in a car accident just before Christmas. Thankfully, I was OK, but my Honda Civic was totalled. It was time to upgrade to a cross over vehicle. We contacted all Nissan dealers (Albany,NY and Springfield,MA) and Johnson Nissan had the best price. We dealt with Laura from the start, and she was nothing but professional, honest and courteous. She went out of her way to make the process as easy as possible, knowing that it was a traumatic time as well because of my car accident.When I picked up my vehicle, she spent over an hour with me in the vehicle setting up my bluetooth, going through every feature, etc. This really impressed me - I've never had a car salesperson do that before! I have already recommended Laura and Johnson Nissan to friends and co-workers.
