Although having arrived with just an oil change and tire rotation scheduled, the service advisor (Nina Bisozio) subsequently informed of additional issues which needed to be addressed (rear brakes and rotors) as well as showing me that two filters needed to be replaced. She did a great job of explaining why these things needed to be done, identifying the cost of each, and estimating the total time it would take. From start to finish (including car wash), my visit was completed in 90 minutes. UI don't know whether that's attributable to their new (at least to me) "express service", but I was extremely impressed.

This was my first Subaru and first car purchase on my own. Joe helped me find the perfect match for me and was very patient with me. Although they did not have the exact model I had wanted at my first visit, it did arrive very quickly (within a week and a half). My personal salesman was Andrew Moy and he and everyone else at Lakewood Suburu were more than helpful. Andrew still calls me frequently to see how I am progressing and to ask me if I have any questions or problems and continually thanks me for purchasing my car from him. Whenever I am asked how I like my Suburu, I tell individuals I Love it and if they are considering the purchase of a new car, to go to Suburu at Pinebelt in Lakewood and ask for Andrew Moy!!!!! Well this is the second Subaru I've bought here. The first was my aunts a couple months ago, and now mine a couple weeks ago. First off, I got the WRX. At this time the 2014 were being snatched up left and right because they were getting rid of the hatches. Well, my salesman hunted one down for me and got everything I needed for me. It was great. Now I love my car more then anything. I worked with Dev'n. Great kid. I would recommend him and when I say he got done what he needed so I could leave with that car, he did. He got whatever problem that arose solved quickly.

I never forged a "bond " with a salesperson or a dealership before but now I have! I know I will be back when it is time for a new one and recommend Rolf and Town Subaru as the place to go.
Awful Experience - Sarah M
Had gone in over the weekend and the salesman we talked to wasn't the best but we chalked it up to him possibly being new. He was not knowledgeable about the cars at all and could barely answer any of our questions. However, he did inform us of a great deal going on (a reasonable down payment and low monthly lease cost).
Fast forward to a few days later, when we come in ready to lease, he now tells us that the down payment with fees would be an additional $3K. There was NO mention of these fees on our weekend visit, let alone that they would be DOUBLE the original amount. He had also told us over the weekend that the down payment for a different model would be under $2K with another low monthly payment. When we asked about that one instead, his response was that he never said that which was a flat-out lie. When we asked exactly what those fees were made up of, he couldn't even explain it to us.
This guy was such a terrible salesman I honestly have no idea how he is still working there. He completely ruined my opinion of this dealership as well as my father's who had actually purchased his car from them! We walked right out and leased from a different dealer that night.
Second Time I walked from this Dealer and bought at another - Bad Experience
In October 2015 we went to Morristown Subaru to buy a 2016 Outback. We picked out the packages and were told by Greg we could not get both packages on the car, that we would have to wait 12 weeks for delivery. We wanted a white one with everything except leather. Also were given basically the list price. Shopped a couple other dealers--ended up 80 miles away at Faulkner Subaru of Bethlehem, PA. Terrific team--ordered the car we wanted for $2000 less than Morristown price for half the options and received the car in 2 weeks.
5 days ago we went back to Morristown Subaru(should have learned) got Greg again--this time wanted the 2015 Jasmine certified pre-owned Forester with 10,000 miles. It had been on their lot 6 months. We called for an appointment--showed up--the car was dirty, scratched, dead battery and coffee stains on the seat. After jump starting the car we test drove and went inside to get their pricing--they said there was no special pricing and it was what was on the web--high Kelly Blue Book.
So went back to Faulkner bought a fully accessorized new 2016 Forester with all weather package--for $450 more than the damaged car Morristown was offering. Twice they have walked my business--Both times Greg was salesman and Duke the closer lost the deal---please avoid this place!!!! One last not their service department is excellent

Kept me posted regarding the arrival of my vehicle. Had all paperwork ready for me when I arrived. I was in and out in less than 90 minutes. I love my Crosstrek!

BAD COMMUNICATION & CUSTOMER SERVICE - Long Distance Buyer
I had the same sort of experience as Melbourne 76.
The people working at Kerbeck Subaru have possibly the worst customer service and communication skills of any car dealership I’ve ever encountered. Since the end of April – it’s now late September - they’ve had a used car on their website that I’m interested in. At first it was way too much money, but over the summer the price dropped enough so that I ventured an email inquiry to them.
I only used an electronic inquiry because I’m over 100 miles from the dealership and stopping by if we were nowhere close to a deal would have wasted my time as well as theirs. My first communication was with Vince but he would not respond after the initial contact. I once again used the inquire button on the car’s listing and communicated with Matt twice. He stopped responding after we talked on the phone and I couldn’t make it to the dealership on Labor Day.
Really being interested in the car, I used the inquire button a third time and again communicated with Vince. In each of my communications I was very clear about the deal I wanted – my car and $1000 for their car. Vince’s final communication with me before I visited the dealership was, “It sounds like we are close on the trade but would it be impossible for us to guarantee it with out seeing your trade in person.”
I completely understood that figuring they’d say something like, “your car and $1200,” or “your car and $1500,” for their car. I decided that it seemed likely that we’d be able to make a deal so I headed to Pleasantville. It was a three and a half hour trip because of construction on the Schuylkill Expressway.
When we arrived at Kerbeck neither Vince or Matt was available. I should have known that when your salesman is hiding from you you’re in trouble. I meet with a salesman named Paul who was nice enough.
After doing the test drive we got to the deal. Suddenly their car went from the internet price of $8750 to $9900 and our deal went from my car and $1000 to my car and $6800! Had I thought that we were even going to be at my car and $2000 I would not have bothered driving the 120 miles. (Before I suggested my deal I checked NADA. The value of my trade-in is $5400 and the retail value of their car is $7000.)
Since there was no way I was going to pay $12,200 (my car and the $6800) for a $7000 car we left the dealership and headed home. Kerbeck wasted an entire day for me. When I got home I tried calling Vince and got his voice mail. I left a message and he did not call me back. I also sent an email which has also been ignored.
My advice: Avoid this place like the plague. If their communication and customer service is this bad when buying a car their after a sale follow-up must be really horrible!
