Since our go-to A+ Service Technician Nino transitioned to Smithtown's Empire Volvo from another Volvo dealership, my wife and I have been, without exception, trusting Empire Volvo for all of our S60 vehicle's maintenance needs. At whatever Volvo dealership Nino is employed, that's the dealership that we patronize -- for both Sales and Service. Since last year when we transitioned to Empire Volvo, we've settled into an enviable Service team combination with Service Advisor Nash Harripersad and Service Technician Nino Gambino. While Nash brings his valuable experience as a service advisor with his friendly, accessible, and accommodating personality, Nino brings his 50 years of highly skilled Volvo service experience with a reputation for honesty and trustworthiness -- and I state this from personal experience, knowing Nino for decades as we follow him to whatever dealership he is employed at. As the Empire Volvo website's Home page boldly states, from our experience, they do admirably succeed in providing "Award Winning Service", promising "... the best maintenance and service for your Volvo. Personal, professional, and efficient." -- And for that, credit must also be given in large part to General Manager Kristin Hendrick and Service Manager James Good.

I purchased a used vehicle from Accurate Auto and Truck Repair and was very impressed with their professional service and unique approach to the selling process. 1. This dealership totally believes in low pressure sales. They allow you to take your time looking at a vehicle without any high pressure sales pitch. In event you would like assistance they are right there ready to address any questions or concerns. I found this to be a relief because in the past, I would visit a dealership on a day they were closed (Sunday) in an effort to avoid the high pressure sales pitch. 2. For the first time ever (and I have owned a lot of cars), the dealer put the vehicle up on the lift and spent more than one hour going through everything with me. I couldn’t believe it especially in this day and age! This alone, set them apart from any other dealer from which I have purchased a vehicle. 3. After you purchase a vehicle, anything that may go wrong within a reasonable amount of time gets fixed at no charge. When you return for routine maintenance in the future or any type of repair, they are honest and straightforward from the get go and employ highly skilled mechanics. 4. They back their work with a guarantee and offer affordable auto repair. 5. As the saying goes, “If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is.” Well this is definitely NOT the case with this dealership. I sincerely they have the best sales and service in the Oneonta NY area bar none.

Unfortunately this is my second time using their services. They are wonderful. They try and make a terrible situation into a better one as much as they can. They are helpful from the law aspect, to rental to loaner and of course their expertise - the car. Yes sometimes they are difficult to reach but it is worth the trade off in the end. I highly recommend them for their expertise as well as their personalities. A+ to Yossi and Zach and your staff.

I recently made an appointment to bring my 2021 XC90 in for its 10k miles/ I year factory service. Jocelyn was so pleasant and cordial in setting up the appointment working around my calendar, it almost seemed like I was making social arrangements with a friend. I then had to change the appointment due to a conflict and again, she could not have been nicer. As much as some folks say getting a convenient appointment at their dealer is like pulling teeth, certainly not my experience at this dealership. They could not have been more accommodating. I had requested a specific technician be assigned to my car, Nino Gambino, as I have had long term experience with him working on my cars. I have always found him extremely thorough and a great diagnostician who is a true professional, and something unfortunately not so common nowadays, he sincerely takes real pride in his work. . When I got there Bob Gassler checked me in, explained that they were backed up on scheduling and instead of waiting for the work to be done they volunteered to give me a new car loaner and that the car would be finished later that day or the following. This was because Mr. Gambino was in the midst of a major repair that had become far more extensive than anticipated and that had to be completed before mine could be started. This was understandable as I had specifically requested him and did not wish my car assigned to another technician. All work was completed perfectly, and I could not be more pleased with the way I was treated. Unlike many businesses I truly believe that they did value my time and made sure I was not spending excessive time waiting that could be avoided. I thank these people for being so considerate and as always Nino Gambino for putting his heart into his work and taking care of my car like it was his own. For all of these reasons I commend these people and recommend them highly.
