Service to include oil-change and transmission fluid change. I always check my oil when filling up and the next day I was 1/2 quart low. Called the dealer and was told they do this because the oil heats up and expands. BS, they put 8 quarts into a 8 liter sump. Eight liters is about 8.5 quarts. For service go to MBI, Sig will be straight with you.

Parts department has been great.

My review involves the Wilsonville store although it is owned by the same people as the Portland location. My experience with Rasmussen has been mixed. Their service department has been very attentive to my E320 and even fixed a slow leak in one of my tires that they noticed at no charge. The car was well past warrantee at the time. I thought this was a nice little "extra". I also appreciate the free car washes for life.

I wish I could say the same about my sales experience. To be honest, I had a difficult getting a sales person to talk to me since I guess I don't look like someone who can afford a $60,000 car. Once someone found out I would be paying cash I was pretty much latte'ed to death there after.

I have been buying cars, usually new, for 40 years or so and I have to say that I have yet to run into an honest car dealership. So my expectations were not very high when I went to Rasmussen. The reason for my "not recommended" rating is that as we were signing papers (literally) the salesman tried to change the deal on me to squeeze out another couple of hundred bucks of profit on the deal. When I gathered up all of the papers that I had already signed and got up to leave, they backed off on the scam.

They (the "Finance" person) did manage to scam me on the roadside help issue though. Needed my credit card number "just in case you go over the included free cell minutes allotment".... found myself unwillingly signed up to their recurring roadside assistance scam at $240 per year. It took a complaint to the Oregon Attorney General to get them to quit billing this "service".

As I said, I have yet to find an honest dealership so I was extremely cautious about every single piece of paper they put in front of me to sign. I guess I was a little disappointed that even when you are spending $60k on a car, these guys are still trying to scam you at every turn. I realize that the car dealership mantra is "don't leave any money on the table" but had I been treated more ethically on the Rasmussen sales side, I would probably have purchased another Mercedes from them by now instead of advising you folks to use a fair degree of caution when dealing with these guys.

Apparently, repeat business means very little to the people who own this company. So be wary about EVERYTHING you are being told when you deal with these guys.
