And at the first dealership I visited, that was definitely the case. However, when I got to Wilsonville Toyota...what an amazing experience!
I found the car I liked online and was able to reserve it until I was able to get to the dealership that day. They had the car pulled up with my name on it and a salesperson waiting to take me on a test drive. Greg was very nice, friendly and happy to answer any questions I had about the car. He truly seemed to have my best interests at heart and wanted to make sure I got exactly what I was looking for.
When he explained that the price that you saw was the price that you got...what a relief! The paper signing was smooth and painless and I left with the keys (and a clean car and a tank of gas!) that day :-)
But it didn't end there...I got a call a few days later to say they had found me a lower interest rate! How cool is that?
Overall, had the best car buying experience one could imagine (and the one everyone told me I would never have)!

Usually the sales people are the worst part of the process but she did a great job, she took us straight to see the car we had called about. All along the process she didn't try to "upsell" us to a new or more expensive car, she listened to what we wanted. We may have wanted a little more for our trade in but we know she didn't have anything to do with that and she did a great job explaining it all to us. The no bull approach is true. Rochelle also did a great job once we were into the buying process by making sure the parts and finance departments worked quickly as well as getting the car detailed fast! We love our Highlander!!
