Update, GM Tom McDonald contacted me, we had a pleasant conversation and he took total ownership of the situation below and made sure that I got what was promised and in a professional way. I always thought the people there were nice, if you have a problem, get the management team at Kenny Ross Ford South involved.
I bought a $70k Ford truck that I am very happy with. The problem now is the dealers total lack of follow up/customer service. I contacted the sales person 2.5 weeks ago to get a clarification on something we discussed several times while looking at the truck. He said that he wasn't positive so he would have to check on it and get back to me. Two weeks later I was unable to reach him by phone so I sent him a email asking for the info. After several days of no answer I went on the dealer website and using their "contact us" page , I sent a note to mgr Dave asking him to call me. I got a robo call from the Internet Sales guy thanking me for visiting the site, and if you give me info on what model you are looking for, I wold be happy to assist you".
So next I tried calling again, no mgr to talk to, so I left a short voice mail for mgr chuck, identifying myself, stating that I had an issue with a truck I bought there and asking for a call from him.
Within 6 hours I receive an email from the sales person stating that I "misunderstood him" when I interpreted his "yes, it will have it" which was stated multiple times and once in front of a sales mgr, as an actual yes.
The kicker here is that this dealer loves to bombard your email account with , thanks for visiting, thanks for purchasing and , here are some great deals for servicing your new ______, .
The vehicle I purchased was a new f350 , these emails consistently refer to my vehicle as a f250.

I recently went to Baierl Ford in search of a new vehicle. I had 2 vehicles that I wanted to trade, but could not make up my mind on exactly what vehicle I wanted to purchase or how I wanted to purchase it. Justin was amazing! He was extremely patient with me and allowed me to see every available lease/finance option so that I could better make a decision. After a few test drives, I finally settled on a brand new 2016 Ford Flex SEL. The process was seamless the whole way through (even while they were moving into their new showroom). When I arrived to take possession of the Flex Justin had everything in order. Mike in finance was great! He explained everything thoroughly and all I had to do was sign my name...a lot. This was my first experience with Baierl Ford. I learned that they are not your stereotypical dealership with pushy salespeople looking to make a buck. I FOUND MY NEW FORD DEALERSHIP!

This dealership is truly amazing. I have been to our local ford dealership where my keys were held in the finance office and I felt pressured to buy. My experience with Midtown was truly a blessing. I told them what asked where I would be payment wise. Within 30 to 40 minutes Mike Short who I dealt with and by the way is truly an amazing person had all the figures. I was relaxed and at ease with the purchase of my car. Everything was explained and he went above and beyond with all information and made sure I understood everything. The financial papers where ready and Kevin Cobb was a delight also. I will never go to another dealership. They have won my business and I have been telling everyone to do the same. This was the best experience I ever had buying a vehicle!

I recently purchased a 2016 Ford Escape from Eric Kane. I would recommend dealing with him because he was so knowledgeable about the various models and helped me to pick out the perfect car for my needs. Mickey Sullivan really helped with the financing crunching the numbers to get me the car I wanted at a price I could afford within my budget. Also Jim Suydam helped me when my wife passed to sell her car. I have used this dealership for buying new and used cars since 1980. Overall the service and sales team are the best around they are a dealership that you can't go wrong dealing with.
Great Knowledgeable Staff - Mad Man Customs
I have been dealing with Springfield Ford for the past few years since I opened up my shop. The staff in the wholesale department is very knowledgeable and very helpful. I have had a few vehicles that were hard to look up parts for. The staff was able to email ford and get back to me in a timely manor. I have also had many parts delivered to me and the drivers were very helpful. I would recomend this dealership for anyone who is looking for parts. ALL the staff will go above and beyond for what is needed!

From the first phone call with Don DeKay, the entire experience was great. He worked hard to get us the most money he could for our trade and sell us the CPO car we wanted at the right price. The finance manager was pleasant as well, which is often where I find the experience goes south. Car salesman and dealers often have a bad reputation but both Murphy and Don have a good reputation for a reason. Don even followed up after the sale to make sure I was happy and that things were going well with the vehicle. I would purchase another car from Don DeKay and Murphy Ford without hesitation and plan to refer friends who are looking for a Ford.
On another note, I visited about 7 other dealers during my car search, including BMW, VW (2 dealers), Mazda, and Ford (3 dealers). I was surprised how little the saleman I encountered knew about their product and how none tried to really figure out what I wanted - not one suggested a different vehicle even after I shared what I did or didn't like about what I test drove; only one salesman followed up with me after the test drive. One even talked me out of test driving what I eventually ended up buying (he thought I wouldn't like it - he was wrong). I don't miss the old day of salesmen hounding you to death but I do think they should at least try to sell you a car.
Anyway, super glad I ended up with Don at Murphy Ford.

I recently went back to Ford for the 3rd time for a lease. I got the new Ford Escape which I absolutely love but what made the difference was going to Bob Gallop. He doesn't just give you what they offer - he asks you what YOU want and finds it for you. I can't imagine going to another guy other than Bob because it's reliable, honest and always have my best interest at hand. He was so excited for me which made me so happy and i drove away knowing I made the right decision.
I would recommend everyone at least giving Bob a chance. He's not pushy and will find you what you are looking for!

I've been taking my Escape to State College Ford for the past two years since moving to State College. A few weeks ago, State College Ford failed to write down my service appointment after I had rearranged my day and gone in late to work, and they didn't have the parts available when I dropped it off. They did not seem to care that they had made a mistake and they did not say or do anything to try to make it right. They really didn't seem to care at all. Frustrated, I decided to try Joel Confer Ford. Not only did they save me $300 by suggesting a different method for fixing my car, but they were friendly and knowledgeable, as well as willing, able, and interested in explaining my car's problems and the services it needed. I was happy to have such a positive experience with Ford, because I haven't since moving to State College. I'll gladly drive the extra way to Joel Confer's in the future to get better service!

I love the friendly, curtious staff -sales and service. The availability of the having my CX5 picked up, serviced, and returned to my work place while I am at work is priceless, saving me time and money. Getting the fourth oil change free, is also a savings. I had to pay for more changes to get one free before. I had heard pro's and con's from this dealership, but I am pleased with my purchase and the service that I am provided. They have an awesome waiting room if I do chose to wait on my vehicle. I love the way my car drives and the comfort of it. I am pleased my husband and I decided to chose a Mazda. I will not being going back to the previous dealership (well known in this area). I have been converted!

We wanted to personally thank Grant and the Ron Lewis Ford team for a superb experience. I have to admit, I hate car shopping and highly dislike talking to most salesmen. I’m usually told what I like and what I need. But Grant took the time to listen to what we were looking for. I was direct with what we wanted and the terms that we needed to take the car home, and Grant and his team were able to meet us where we needed to be. They didn’t just tell me it’s just another payment. (Our personal financial goal is to pay off the car as quick as possible, not draw out our payment terms.) They were able to help us meet our price goal.
They were also quick and able to take care of all the paper work and handle the trade in and transfer of everything without hassle!
