So, I'm just chilling in the parking lot with my wife looking at SUVs. Wasn't looking to buy anything that day, we were going to wait until October, but my wife had her eye on a Ford Edge and it was looking like i was doomed...Then, in EXPLODED, Kerry!! Like a golden eagle in all of it's glory!! That's the best way I can describe it. I have never met someone so happy to just be alive, much less sell me a vehicle. Working with Kerry was exhilarating to say the least. Coming from a sales background myself, I absolutely loved watching him do his thing. The man is GOOD, but part of what makes a great salesman is doing what KERRY did...Keeping the promises he made during the sale even after the sale was finalized. He even took my heckling and haggling(you know i had to try)like an absolute champ!!

Where do I start!?!? This was hands down the best experience my father and I have had at a dealership in a long time. I made contact with Ted Britt Ford last week looking for a Ford F-150 CrewCab. Ford was offering a bunch of trucks on their lot at marked down prices and rebates from MSRP. Michael Robinson worked diligently looking for the exact truck we wanted. We ended up changed our minds on the crewcab and opted to get a Extended Cab which better suited our needs. Everything was discussed over the phone, the price, a little haggling (expected), accessory add-ins, etc. We agreed on a price I was comfortable with and then we made arrangements to meet at the dealership on Labor Day. The best thing about this deal was that there were NO Surprises! We were coming from Southwest VA so we had quite a drive but once we got there we were immediately greeted by Michael and Joe (Sales Manager).
Working with Thong in Finance was great! What a funny guy! At the end we were only in their for no more than three hours but the process was quick and they were ready for us. Which is exactly how it should be when purchasing a vehicle. No Surprises, No BS, just great customer service and a vehicle you requested ready to go upon arrival. Thank You Michael, Joe, Thong and Ted Britt! We'll be back for our next truck, after 100,000 miles of course (haha)!

Walking to the door Mr Russel walker greeted me with a pleasant smile and a very friendly attitude beside his professionalism, he went out of his way to help even its not his department of work ,but shows how much he cares about his customers and the dealership he works at. he introduce me to mr kristan stanisclaus at the service department since service needed in my car, who took his time to explain everything related to my coverage, insurance, towing....in a very friendly, professional way and made my day after a very rough morning,
Dealing with dealerships for the past 18 years, this is the first time someone explained to me every detail about my coverage thanks to Kristan.
this two gentlemen should be rated 10 stars if I have the option:) by far the best service advisor I have dealt with without forgetting the amazing russel walker sales rep,
But so far so fantastic, and will only deal with both of them next time so u better keep them there for a longtime if u want to have a good reputation for your dealership.

I want to preface this review by stating everything is in my opinion only and based on the perceptions of my experiences.
In my lifetime, I have purchased four cars from different dealerships: my first was a gently used Toyota Camry, the second was a gently used Jeep Wrangler, the third was a gently used Cadillac Escalade, and my most recent was a brand new 2015 Ford Flex from Jerry's Ford.
This was a monumental moment in my life, as I had never purchased a brand new car. The salesman and manager did everything to make sure I got the car model I wanted and the payments I needed. It wasn't until after I walked off the lot that everything went south.
I immediately noticed there was a defect in with the passenger visor (the screw was jetting out). The manager said he would have it fixed (free of charge) and even offered me a free car wash for my time (I tipped the car wash people $20 for doing such a great job).
The service department operates during business hours and I didn't want to take off work, so I postponed getting it fixed. Next thing you know (three months after my purchase), the steering wheel of my "new car" starts making a grinding sound when I turn and the breaks start sticking and making grinding sounds as well.
I was so upset! This was supposed to be a brand new car, my first, but one thing after another was falling apart! I called the service department, obviously upset because I'm making payments on a "new" vehicle that has had more issues than ANY other used car I have purchased combined!
At first I didn't receive adequate customer service from the service department. However, the manager got involved and took care of EVERYTHING. He personally supervised the repairs and ensured that the quality of customer service improved.
I am now confident that if anything goes wrong with my new car purchase, Jerry's team will take care of it! I still love my car and I'm glad I made the purchase.

We purchased our Escape from a different dealer but started to use Sheehy Warrenton for the extended service/maintenance agreement, due to convenience, where we met the service writer, Ben. Ben has always been consistent with his willingness to help and/or deliver the service as presented at time of purchase, over a period of time. Went in the other day for a service realizing a shield underneath was loose. Meant to make mention of this to Ben, but forgot. Day later, while walking to the vehicle, I noticed the shield was reattached. Ben and/or tech never made mention or charge for this. This may have been a minor problem but it was very much magnified by the appearance. Being I am very much involved in the service industry, the consideration given by Ben to detail goes a long, long way in my book...so much so, we'll consider this dealer at time of replacement.

My “Hall of Fame” list at Haley Toyota of Farmville:
- Christie (spelling?) – Service Manager who responded to my request for urgent/expedited service – she recognized the out of the ordinary emergency nature of my request, recognized me as a valued customer who deserved a little bit of extra consideration in this situation and arranged with the service technician and parts department to “make it happen”.
- Richard – Lead Toyota Tech. Richard agreed to repair my Sequoia even though his schedule was “fully booked”. Richard agreed to work past normal hours if necessary to get me running next day upon parts arrival. Immediately upon arrival with my Sequoia on the flatbed tow truck, Richard recognized the importance of properly locating the offload and opened a service bay to offload the Sequoia directly into that service bay (a consideration not usually extended by most dealerships). The offload directly to a service bay is significant because a ball joint failure renders a vehicle unmovable on its own wheels. Therefore it is critical to offload where the vehicle will be repaired. If not, it becomes very difficult and unsafe to later relocate the vehicle via a floor jack. A floor jack relocation could cause additional damage to brake system components being stressed while moving the vehicle. Richard also personally assisted in the tow truck offload which was not an easy job. He immediately placed my Sequoia up on the rack – removing stress to the failure wheel components and making the Sequoia ready for immediate service upon parts arrival. Finally, Richard spent about 10 minutes with me discussing the condition of the vehicle and approaches to service under circumstances with a critical ball joint failure. Noteworthy -- Richard did this for me at the end of the month while being flooded with end of month safety inspection requests. A different Dealership in Lynchburg said they could not help me because that Lynchburg Dealership claimed they had too many end of month safety inspections – I suppose that kind of says it all.
- Sam – Parts Manager with initiative and foresight! Obtained required parts overnight, (another dealership in Lynchburg said this was impossible). Had the foresight to order both the left and right lower ball joints even though only the right had failed. Sam realized that this type failure is best addressed in pairs – I later expanded the repair to ball joint replacement on both sides with Richard’s agreement.
Haley has a new, loyal customer. I have owned Toyotas for many years so I am a long time Toyota customer. In this situation, I had the critical ball joint failure in my driveway at our new residence near Lynchburg. I needed the vehicle ASAP to use it as a tow vehicle for a high priority project. Since we are new to the Lynchburg area, my wife and I started calling Dealers, starting with Lynchburg and moving out by distance from our home. Sometimes in life, you just get a fortunate outcome – in this case I feel blessed discovering Haley’s of Farmville and all the great folks I met at Haley’s. They are now my Go-To Dealership even though they are 30 minutes farther from my home than the dealership in Lynchburg. Thank you Haley’s for responding to my request for urgent attention to my vehicle. I’ve owned five Toyotas, currently owning a Sequoia and Prius. I’ve discovered that the attitude of the employees is most often consistent with, and a reflection of, the attitude of management and ownership. So in addition to being my preferred service location, I am certain when it comes time to replace my vehicles, you will be the first place I visit.

I had an amazing experience with Kevin Smiley of Hardee Ford! He took time after hours to accommodate my busy schedule. He met with me on several occasions to help me with my decision.
He didn't call me and bug me like a lot of car dealers have done to me in the past. He also didn't try to push a vehicle on me that I didn't want. I told him what I wanted and what I expected, and he delivered! I have purchased 6 vehicles in my life and this was by far the best experience yet. He, and the Hardee Ford staff really set the bar high with this one! I have been banking with a certain bank for 8 years and they were able to beat my banks rates!!!!
Now I'm riding clean in one of the baddest trucks in my town!

I took my Explorer for inspection at Parrish Ford. When I arrived I asked last minute if they could also do an oil change for me, and they said no problem. Tom, the new Service Manager was short handed that day but got me in and out efficiently. Unfortunately my car failed inspection due to tires. He offered me a great deal on tires, but my tires were under warranty elsewhere so I got new tires and returned the following week to get reinspected. Overall, great customer service and quick customer service. I will be returning!

2017 Ford Escape - Battlefield Ford - Leigh
We were in the market to replace my wife’s 2013 Ford Escape SEL, purchased at Jerry’s Ford in December 2012. We started by traveling to Jerry’s, which is currently undergoing a long-term, major renovation. Although we had previously purchased two vehicles from Jerry’s, we found them unresponsive in this case, and decided to look elsewhere.
Although we were contacted by a significant number of dealers, we found Battlefield Ford to be the most responsive, and offering the best deals on new Escapes. We were really just looking for leftover 2016 Escapes, but after communicating with the Internet Sales Representative, Amy Cooke, found that the deals on the newly-redesigned 2017 Escapes were just as appealing.
Amy worked quickly to answer questions on the trim packages, and found a vehicle in stock that met our requirements. She worked through the sales manager, Cesar, to swiftly offer an “all in” price that included a reasonable trade-in offer on our 2013 Escape.
We were reassured that the hour+ drove to the dealership would result in a fast and efficient transaction – and were quite surprised and pleased that the transaction was completed way faster than we ever imagined. This was our 14th new vehicle purchase since the mid-1980s, and BY FAR the fastest and easiest we have ever had! Amy ran us through the paperwork like clockwork, including the requirement to get online and register for an additional rebate. The biggest surprise was when Cesar came back and said he found us an additional $750 rebate we weren’t aware that we qualified for – thus making the out-the-door price almost $1K less than we had negotiated!
This was a truly unprecedented buying experience for us.
