I have always been impressed by Clay Subaru. I bought my legacy there in the midst of Covid when few cars were available, but I have been happy with a car and with their willingness to help me out with relatively minor things. However, last Friday afternoon, my car just gave out, and I reached out to them and thought that the problem, according to another mechanic and people from Clay was a coolant control valve, which had broken. I had no idea what that meant and why would happen with a 60,000 mile car. In any event, I took it in and they looked at it immediately, then told me that the work was covered by an extended warranty, issued by the company because they had had problems with this part before. The work and the part were valued at over $700. It was going to cost me nothing to have it done there.
Moore, amazingly, they said that they would work on it on Saturday, the next day and by 1 o’clock, I was able to pick the car up. Additionally, they gave me a ride home on Friday afternoon at their expense.
I have been very impressed by their honesty and constant application to resolve my major problem. They were courteous at all times and, as stated, resolved the problem far more quickly than I would’ve expected. I give this dealership high grades.
The service representative,Griselle, was unfailingly, polite, helpful, and accommodating. She went out of her way to assist me.
I urge the dealership to continue the excellent work, and I will definitely look to Subaru and particularly Clay Subaru for my next car.
