Tried to purchase a new GMC from local dealership and the deal failed due to bad attitude of finance personnel. Went to Jimmy Britt Chevrolet and could not have had a better experience. The salesperson (Eric Luke) was excellent. Gave me more money for my trade than local dealer. Everyone I encountered at Jimmy Britt was kind, considerate and professional. Knowledge of the vehicle was excellent. What a good experience to do business with true professionals. I did purchase a 2017 GMC Acadia from Jimmy Britt even though I live 40 miles from the dealership.

First Oil Change - Complimentary. Tire Rotation Not So Much. - sworxx
I bought my 2016 Silverado 3500 HD Dually and was told that the first 2 oil changes and tire rotations were included with the purchase price. Took it in for it first service only to find out that Duallys are not included. I was very disappointed and could see in the fine print that Corvette & Duallys were exempt, of course this was after the sale. I had Charlie explain to me what was involved with a tire rotation and understood that it was complex on a dually to perform this service. He did offer to rotate the front tires at least, so that helped and I felt better. I don't really blame the service dept and it was one of the deciding factors in deciding on a dually that the tire rotations were complimentary. I hope that more people don't fall into this trap at the sales desk. I bought the extended warranty, suppose I need to check the fine print on there too. Just an FYI.

My spouse was in need of a new truck. His 1996 Nissan Truck was beyond repair and was requiring a tremendous amount of work. He has always dreamed of owning a Silverado Z71 for the last 14 years. We met Mike Champness several years ago at our daughter's school. He was so friendly and he told my husband that he worked for Jim Ellis. Encouraged him to call if he ever decided upon getting a new truck. My husband reached out to Mike and he went above and beyond with advise and suggestions for purchasing a Z71. He was very helpful and prompt in returning phone calls and emails. We were able to compare costs with other dealerships and none could meet the expectations from Jim Ellis. My experience was common to many people who are financing for a new car. I was having car trouble and decided to invest in a new car versus throwing more money away in the car I repair more times than I would like to mention. I was pressed for time and working. I did not have a lot of time to drive around town aimlessly looking for the best deal I could find. While researching finance opportunities online late I came across Ivory Chevrolet and decided to apply. The next morning my phone rang and it was Shawn Lewis. The dealership doesn't open until 9 am but he called at 8:57 am and I knew from the jump I was working with an experienced motivated dealer who was looking to make my life as easy as possible and he did!!! I was able to complete my finance application over the phone, once I was approved for a car I really wanted he was able to offer me a great deal on a brand new 2016 Dodge Challenger. He even brought the car directly to my job. I can't thank Shawn enough for be a stellar salesman. He breaks all the nasty stereotypes of a car salesman and if I were ever in the market to purchase another Chevrolet Shawn would be the first salesman I would call. Thanks again Shawn! I was really pleased with my results today, I took my car to several places to have a minor situation fixed, my car was reducing speed, and i had bought several parts, people were telling me I had transmission problems, I googled everything i could until I thought I was an mechanic, lol, but one person said take your car to Chevrolet to get an diagnostic, because they will give you the real results, I made an appointment at one of the other locations, but it would be Monday until they got to the car, so a mutual friend told us about Chevrolet on Thornton Rd. drop the car off left keys in the box, they called that morning and Brian was my technician, he told me he would call me in the morning, called me told me it was a simple thing of my tire size that was throwing my traction off.... and I would like to say those guys are great........

Recommended by a colleague to check out Mike Bell for my Suburban purchase. Worked with Jordan Bell over the phone and had all of my questions answered and any concerns addressed. The entire process was extremely smooth and I didn't leave the dealership feeling like I had been taken advantage of or swindled out of my money. Jordan had all of my paperwork ready and the vehicle was exactly what we had discussed. When I arrived, I met with David who walked me through the process made sure that all of our questions regarding the vehicle were answered. Mike in finance helped answer several questions and didn't overly push any added services and instead focused on what our desires were. As we were getting ready to drive off with the new vehicle, Jordan stepped out to thank us and shook my hand. I was very impressed with the level of customer service that we received and the fact that we did not feel pressured at any time during this process. I was apprehensive about driving 80+ miles to a dealer when I have one less than 10 miles from my house. I am very glad that we did and will definitely make this dealership my first stop on the next car buying journey.

My wife and I went to this dealership because they had several used Suburbans, which is what we are looking for. Was met by Bill, whom I had been speaking with on the phone. We drove the first vehicle we liked. It had a bad vibration as if the tires were not properly balanced. Drove another suburban, same thing. In this one my wife found beer bottle caps and the vehicle was dirty inside and out. Look at another one. It smelled bad and had not been cleaned up. Looked at yet another one. This one may have been the dirtiest of all. There was even food stains in the backseat (looked like ketchup). I understand we were looking at used vehicles and did not expect perfection. Bill said the vehicle would be detailed upon purchase. However, its hard to spend that much money on a vehicle that looked like these did.

Just bought new used Suburban for nearly $40k, had some minor issues, svc department had it for a week, got car back, still had same issues, went back, they put dent in door and cut weatherstripping up, still didn't align car, car seems to be a freshwater flood damaged car......all padding under carpets front to back are soaked.. they tried to say it was from shampooing, but this car has never been shampood or even vaccuumed, it's funny how they stick the plastic to the dirty stained carpet to make it look like they've done something...I've had car back for a total of 2 days in the 2 weeks we've had it and have spent the whole evening trying to fix crap the dealer's techs screwed up on the door trim and now have to take the entire interior out of car thoroughly clean and dry all carpet and padding and then find all the leaks....this is absurd.....tried to give us $3 floor mats, then were supposed to provide new mats and gave us old stained up mats.....oh and let's not forget we bought car at night and couldn't see all the flaws but the one's that were supposed to be fixed on we owe were denied the following monday when my wife brought the car to the dealer to fix everything....haha oh and we were promise a loaner...so after my wife with a new born baby sits waiting for 6hrs they finally gave her one and kept her car for a week for a 3hrs worth of work that didn't get correctly completed that I still have to fix!!!!..that's okay the factory mats suck and I bought husky liners anyway...but still.....oem mat set is on we owe and they gave us old junk mats....I will never buy another car here again or recommend anyone do so! The service department is incompetent 100% and I wouldn't let them work on anything

Service was great however sales was awful. I purchased my current vehicle a year and a half ago from this same location of Carl Black. I spoke to my sales representative and just inquired about the new Buick Encore SUV. We found on that I loved and did the paperwork to see how we could do a deal. I was advised that Carl Black would only pay 4,000 for a car I paid 12,000 last year for. After being puzzled I did a quick Kelley blue book to see comparables and this was lower than the low end on Kelly Blue book. I asked my sales rep why he advised it was due to my Verano being discontinued. I sat there for three hours as they tried to get me to put down 3,000 and still carry over thousands from my verano to the new loan. I refused and walked away. I took my car to another dealership to see what they would say. They advised my car was in a accident prior to my purchase and that was the cause of the low evaluation. My grandmother worked for GM for 35 years and retired. I have only driven GM products my whole life. I am appalled at the dishonesty hiding something like that to make a quick buck. Good service keeps customers and you all have lost one forever. Ps my sales rep was Kenny Lewis.
