I was really pleased with my results today, I took my car to several places to have a minor situation fixed, my car was reducing speed, and i had bought several parts, people were telling me I had transmission problems, I googled everything i could until I thought I was an mechanic, lol, but one person said take your car to Chevrolet to get an diagnostic, because they will give you the real results, I made an appointment at one of the other locations, but it would be Monday until they got to the car, so a mutual friend told us about Chevrolet on Thornton Rd. drop the car off left keys in the box, they called that morning and Brian was my technician, he told me he would call me in the morning, called me told me it was a simple thing of my tire size that was throwing my traction off.... and I would like to say those guys are great........

I surely believe this dealership may be a very good dealership with reputable employees however my recent visit to the service department was utterly unprofessional. I do understand as an employee we have rough spots and the day can be demanding howeve as soon as I entered into the service department, all employees were on the their phones and in no hurry to assist me. When I did then get one of the employees attention for my scheduled appointment, they proceeded to tell me they couldn't find me in the system when in the beginning they had not even asked for my name.
After, the service manager, Dave Blood proceeds to come out and to be completely disrespectful, yelling at me in regards to them not able to service me because I did not have my vehicle present. Also when they did finally find me in the system it showed for the wrong date and time. The Rep. I spoke with over the phone was very nice that I made the appointment with but did not mention that I would need to bring in my vehicle as well.
I could definitely understand this as I came in to seek assistance with a component of the vehicle and did not need the vehicle to take the component to the service department. My major concern was the utter disrespect, unprofessionalism and the approved mindset to yell at a customer.
After speaking to the presiding manager about the issue, I completely understood the need for the vehicle to be present and it made much sense to me.
However with the highest magnitude of unprofessionalism and disrespect I received from David Blood and their service department, unfortunately I do not see a way that I could do business here in any respect now or in the future.

Excellent customer service but caught a cold because the customer lounge was uncomfortably cold. Staff members are friendly and courteous. I had diagnostics done one afternoon and service the next day so I spent more than three hours in an area that was not warm.

My wife and I went to this dealership because they had several used Suburbans, which is what we are looking for. Was met by Bill, whom I had been speaking with on the phone. We drove the first vehicle we liked. It had a bad vibration as if the tires were not properly balanced. Drove another suburban, same thing. In this one my wife found beer bottle caps and the vehicle was dirty inside and out. Look at another one. It smelled bad and had not been cleaned up. Looked at yet another one. This one may have been the dirtiest of all. There was even food stains in the backseat (looked like ketchup). I understand we were looking at used vehicles and did not expect perfection. Bill said the vehicle would be detailed upon purchase. However, its hard to spend that much money on a vehicle that looked like these did.

Just bought new used Suburban for nearly $40k, had some minor issues, svc department had it for a week, got car back, still had same issues, went back, they put dent in door and cut weatherstripping up, still didn't align car, car seems to be a freshwater flood damaged car......all padding under carpets front to back are soaked.. they tried to say it was from shampooing, but this car has never been shampood or even vaccuumed, it's funny how they stick the plastic to the dirty stained carpet to make it look like they've done something...I've had car back for a total of 2 days in the 2 weeks we've had it and have spent the whole evening trying to fix crap the dealer's techs screwed up on the door trim and now have to take the entire interior out of car thoroughly clean and dry all carpet and padding and then find all the leaks....this is absurd.....tried to give us $3 floor mats, then were supposed to provide new mats and gave us old stained up mats.....oh and let's not forget we bought car at night and couldn't see all the flaws but the one's that were supposed to be fixed on we owe were denied the following monday when my wife brought the car to the dealer to fix everything....haha oh and we were promise a loaner...so after my wife with a new born baby sits waiting for 6hrs they finally gave her one and kept her car for a week for a 3hrs worth of work that didn't get correctly completed that I still have to fix!!!!..that's okay the factory mats suck and I bought husky liners anyway...but still.....oem mat set is on we owe and they gave us old junk mats....I will never buy another car here again or recommend anyone do so! The service department is incompetent 100% and I wouldn't let them work on anything
BUYER BEWARE SOLD US A CAR WITH MOLD!!! - CarolBraund
WE recently purchased a used vehicle from Carl Black Kennesaw which had been previously owned by an employee there. After a few months we come to find out that there is water in our trunk. We took the vehicle in for service to find out that there were hoses not attached properly and the carpets seats etc were full of mold. The service manager said that this mold had to be there for a long time. Needless to say we wanted it fixed and were told that we had to pay 1100.00 for this. Needless to say we are extremely upset about 1) the health concern of driving a vehicle full of mold 2) Carl Black would not take responsibility and sold us a vehicle that they knew had a safety issue. 3) we were treated with no care or consideration from management. Carl Black Kennesaw has no integrity or care. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Needed a key made for my Chevrolet. Called John Thorton for a quote, simple, 9.99 for the key (No chip) and 29.99 for chevy to send the code to make the key. So I budgeted roughly 40 bucks. Sounded about right to everyone I spoke with. Figured I would swing by a dealership the next day that was local to work. I found superior on Google maps, Boy was I wrong to pick this place. 110.00 later, I have my cheap no chip key and the service was terrible. I asked why it was so much higher, they stated, different dealerships. This place is in a rough side of town, there rent has to be low, so why all the markup? greed. Although I had all my paperwork, they treated me like I stole it. They don't want repeat sales here, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere, (Call before you arrive for accurate quotes, use Thorton if you like.)

Call dealer, Offered them 46000 DRIVE OUT for a used truck with 70000 miles on it. He called back and said if I came into today they would do the deal, note I told them that i was 2 hours away from the dealership and it was going to be late when i got there, they said that was fine. I found a friend to take me and we headed off. when I arrived they met us and let me test drive the truck, It was just what i wanted!! Earlier that day I sent all my info to them to speed the process up and was ready to wright the 46000 dollar check and that is where it started!! He told me that his manager that made the deal couldn't let the truck go for that much and now they said it would be 49900.00. I couldn't believe what i was hearing I just drove 2 hours and wasted my Friday night along with my friend that drove me and a tank of gas at 60.00!! they did say that they would drop the price 900. Long story short they screw me out of my time and my money and watch me leave without a care in the world!!
