It Was A Pleasure - William Carter
I just purchased a 2016 Tahoe LT from this dealership. My 3rd vehicle purchased since 2006 at this dealership. The sales consultant each time has been Casey Barron. Casey has been a pleasure to deal with each time and he is the first person I look for. I get all my warranty work and routine service done at the dealership. My contact with dealership staff at all levels has always been a pleasure. I plan on purchasing my next vehicle at this dealership

Very happy with the service department .... - LaSonja Blalock
I was really pleased with my results today, I took my car to several places to have a minor situation fixed, my car was reducing speed, and i had bought several parts, people were telling me I had transmission problems, I googled everything i could until I thought I was an mechanic, lol, but one person said take your car to Chevrolet to get an diagnostic, because they will give you the real results, I made an appointment at one of the other locations, but it would be Monday until they got to the car, so a mutual friend told us about Chevrolet on Thornton Rd. drop the car off left keys in the box, they called that morning and Brian was my technician, he told me he would call me in the morning, called me told me it was a simple thing of my tire size that was throwing my traction off.... and I would like to say those guys are great........

I have driven a loaded Ford Expedition EL for over 10 years and was just not comfy in them anymore. I contacted the Riverside about trying out a Chevy! JR Rutledge was the salesman and was very helpful to find the exact match for me! It's always nice to find a someone who will help find the perfect car like what you are use to. Once we found the perfect suburban JR worked with the numbers to also make that work out for my finances! Thanks to all the staff who made my first ever Checy purchase a great one! I highly recommend Riverside and JR Rutledge to everyone!! Thanks!!

My wife and I purchased a vehicle from here. worst experience of my life. Will NEVER buy another car from them. If we didn't have our son with us, we wouldn't have gotten screwed over like we did.
Pre-owned vehicle purchase - Joe Marchica
I purchased a vehicle from them back in February of 2016. They were so un-organized that it took them 3 months to get the loan processed correctly. I had to come in 3 different times to bring them in pay stub information before they finally got the loan processed and completed. Very frustrating. I then noticed that they had charged over $2500 for a extended warranty I did not ask for and did not want. Yes my fault for missing it in the paperwork prior to the sale, but regardless once I saw this I asked them to cancel it and refund my money. They were hesitant but agreed. I have been going back and forth with their finance department and management since May to get this refund and have still not received it. I have called every two weeks since May and always get some excuse (different every time) but I still have not received anything. Most of the time they will never answer or return my calls or emails. It is my money and I can't believe it has gone on this long and I still have nothing. I tried calling the general manager and corporate and have not received any response. I am going to have to pursue legal now, which is ridiculous, but I am not going to sit back and see them conveniently forget about the $2500 they owe me.

Yo Yo Car Deal/Auto Fraud Sale - Mark Crooms
I called Shawn Lewis Aug 2016. I told him my situation on my past vehicle. I explained to him, that i had heart surgery and was out of work on medical. I just returned back to work in Aug 2016. He asked me to come in and sure he could work out a deal for me. After, i told him my repo situation on May 2016. He intruduced himself and got one of the carsalemen to complete an application on me. I explained everything thing to him as well. I was denied as i told them i would be. They asked me if i could get a cosigner. I was able to get my uncle back in Florida to assist me on purchasing a vehicle. The application was denied a second time. I left and a couple days later. Shawn Lewis emailed me daily for two weeks. I called him and he said disreguard his email. After asjed him was those email a computer error. A week later Shawn called me and asked if i was steel looking to purchase a vehicle. I said yes, and he asked if i could contact my uncle in Florida. I said no, cause of the two denied. I said for him to call him. Which he asked for his number and called him and my uncle agreed once again. Shawn called me 3 days later telling me. That he got an approval. For me to come back in to get the vehicle. I went in and Shawn, introduced me to another carsalemen name Marcus Morris. He took my info and i told him that i did not have a down payment and no money for insurance at the time. Marcus had me to go to Chase Bank to open up a checking acct. Telling me to ask the bank for very high number checks. So that i could post date for 30 days. I was not able to leave with the car until Oct. 1, 2016. One week later Marcus called me to ask for my uncle and myself. To fax a bill, with our name an address on it. Which we both sent to them. A week after that, i get a call from Mr. Lewis from the Finance Dept. Saying my job told them that i worked at my job part-time. I work at a Federal job and i called my job to asked who told my personal business. The Supervisor said, that she took that call and give the 800 #. That only gives an employee reference # on be employed there. Later on my uncle and myself had our Bank Inst. phone interview on everything. I was later on called afain on coming back in the office to do paperwork over. Now, i am feeling lots of Bull on this deal. Got back to dealer on Nov 1, 2016. They park a car behind the car, just like was a crimnal. Then Mr. Lewis could not be a man and be real with me. He said that the loan was denied. But, they keep my check and keep on running the check for the down payment. They keep on running the check for 2 weeks. I have contact my aunt in New Orleans. The 3 people at Ivory Chevolet will never make it in their entire LIFE TIME. They picked the work one this time, with that YO YO DEAL AND CAR SALES FRAUD. Keep that check and feel the work of my Aunt.
Not a great experience - gbates
My wife and I went to this dealership because they had several used Suburbans, which is what we are looking for. Was met by Bill, whom I had been speaking with on the phone. We drove the first vehicle we liked. It had a bad vibration as if the tires were not properly balanced. Drove another suburban, same thing. In this one my wife found beer bottle caps and the vehicle was dirty inside and out. Look at another one. It smelled bad and had not been cleaned up. Looked at yet another one. This one may have been the dirtiest of all. There was even food stains in the backseat (looked like ketchup). I understand we were looking at used vehicles and did not expect perfection. Bill said the vehicle would be detailed upon purchase. However, its hard to spend that much money on a vehicle that looked like these did.
Why I didn't purchase from Clay County Oxford - rodrobertson
I made an offer that was accepted for a used car @ the Oxford location. The Oxford sales manager drove my trade in vehicle for 5 minutes and returned telling me that he wasn't sure that he would make it back in my car.
There is nothing mechanically wrong with my car and I would never attempt to trade in a car that was on the verge of a break down.
I was even going to trade a vehicle for less than the kbb.com "fair" dealer trade in value.
The vehicle is more in the kbb.com "good condition" than the "fair" condition.
I asked for my key and left.
It's been a week since I was told my car was about to break down and of course it hasn't.
Today my car has 82k miles on it and if it ever breaks down, I will update this post.
In closing, the salesman Jerry was awesome. It was Rufus that took the commission out of Jerrys paycheck .
Worst experiences ever. And yes this is plural. - Unhappycustomer
By far the worst service department I have ever dealt with. I was sold a service that I did not get. Service tech was extremely incompetent and was not knolegable of anything more than an oil change. Then I get the pleasure of dealing with the biggest xxx hat of them all Dennis. And further more nobody here wants to hear about or do anything about what they screw up. Walked away with over $3000.00 in repairs when quoted about $800.00 in repairs. Then I get my truck back and have a broken oil pressure gage and broken transmutation dip stick tube. Dennis responded with I can look at it but not today. Your mechanic broke them but didn't fix it????????? I could go on for days but I will stop here. By the way my family and I have bought many new vehicles from here but that will NEVER happen again.
Bad Experience - Breakout
The wife and I were in the market for an Impala 2LTZ. Found one we really liked at Ginn Chevy and called to verify the car was on the lot. Also called to let them know we were coming to see the car and work a deal. When we arrived, the sales person took us out to look at the car, and while looking at it, another salesman got the keys and sold the car to a couple that arrived after us. We tried to work a deal on another similar car on the lot, but the dealership would not come off of the MSRP price at all, and was low balling us on our trade. We left there empty handed after several hours and went to another dealership and bought the car we wanted for a great price.
Poor customer service and long wait - Royce
I arrived at the service dept after calling early morning about what i needed and some slow guy (advisor)took in my order to get my tire put on. After waiting almost 2 hours i had to get up and walk around to get someone to get my car that was just sitting there after it was ready. The guy who helped me felt the need to stress the fact that he was just helping me out to get me out of there after all the time i waited because everybody was at lunch including the guy who originally sent my car back for the tire to be put on. He saw that i was pissed ans had a 10momth old baby with me and never apologized he instead talked crap about how i should be happy to be out that quick and he is surprised it only took almost 2hrs to change my tire because they are not like the tire shops themselves. I spent 135.00 which i feel like i should get some money back for the horribpe service i received and the time i waited without being notified it would take so long. I had already told him that i had dr appointments i needed to get my children to by 2:30pm and he still acted as if he didnt give a xxxx. I had arrived there at about 12pm or a little after. I am the one noticed my car was back outside juat sitting ans had to get someone to check me out had i not sis that there ia no telling how much longer i wouldve waited.
Don"t wasted your time! - Stephen Nalder
Call dealer, Offered them 46000 DRIVE OUT for a used truck with 70000 miles on it. He called back and said if I came into today they would do the deal, note I told them that i was 2 hours away from the dealership and it was going to be late when i got there, they said that was fine. I found a friend to take me and we headed off. when I arrived they met us and let me test drive the truck, It was just what i wanted!! Earlier that day I sent all my info to them to speed the process up and was ready to wright the 46000 dollar check and that is where it started!! He told me that his manager that made the deal couldn't let the truck go for that much and now they said it would be 49900.00. I couldn't believe what i was hearing I just drove 2 hours and wasted my Friday night along with my friend that drove me and a tank of gas at 60.00!! they did say that they would drop the price 900. Long story short they screw me out of my time and my money and watch me leave without a care in the world!!
