JP, The Car Whisperer - jeep17
Overall experience was great. JP was attentive to all our needs. He was very friendly, answered all our questions and was very patient. We were never left just sitting there alone wondering what was going on. He must of asked all the right questions or could read my mind, because I was very excited with the vehicle he picked out for me, it was perfect! It was like he could read my mind. "JP, The Car Whisperer!"
When your trading in your vehicle, you know your not going to get a lot for it. However, that being said the one thing that bothered me was when it came to the vehicle I was planning to trade in, a Dodge Caliber SXT Sport. I was told they would give me $2000 because the MSRP was only $11,000 when I purchased it. I believe they were pricing it on a basic Caiber and not the model I had purchased, which included 2.0 L engine and the Customer Preferred Package 24E. I knew I had paid more than that, in fact the MSRP was actually $18,770.
We decided to sell the vehicle ourselves.

Pleasant buying expereince. - BnPGA
The Shottenkirk team did everything to make our decision and first Jeep purchase experience a pleasurable one. From the initial phone call, after having located the vehicle we were interested in purchasing through Shottenkirk's online inventory, to the signing of the necessary documents, this was our best car buying experience thus far, and at the price we set out to achieve. The appearance of the dealership is impressive and as welcoming as the staff with ample customer parking, not often found at other dealerships we've visited. We did shop other comparable SUVs in other brands, and found the Jeep Grand Cherokee to offer the best quality at the best price. We will definitely look at Jeep products and Shottenkirk the next time we are in the market for a vehicle. Thanks to all that were involved in our purchase, it was a pleasure.
Excellent customer treatment - Repeat customer
Matthew Taylor, my sales rep, and Derek Langley, business manager (financial adviser) were great to deal with - they put together a transaction to fit my needs, and answered all my questions.
I will definitely refer them to other prospects.
Rich Days the man! - Dewayne
Best car buying experience ever! I called Rich Day up, told him the truck I was interested in and he had it ready for a test drive by the time I got there. It was late on a Friday so he asked me if I wanted to drive it for a day or so to make sure that was the truck I wanted. I called Rich Day later the next day and told him it was a go! He took the needed information over the phone(just another option he gave me) and by the time I arrived Rich took me to Brandon in finance to go over the paperwork. Everything looked good so signed and was on my way. The entire process from calling Rich Day to owning the truck took less than 1 hour! AMAZING!! Thanks again Rich!!!!
Frustration Free Experience - SLM2017
I put in a request to learn more information on a 2011 Chevy Equinox I found on their website. It wasn't long after I sent the request and Joe Miller gave me a call and setup a time for me to come look at it that day.
Joe was fantastic! I already had a pre-approved loan but Joe suggested we try for financing there and see if we could get a better rate. Sure enough mins later we had a better rate and I was quickly on my way to owning a new car.
I work in sales myself and go the extra mile for my customers. Joe did that and I appreciate it. When the time comes for another new care I will go back.
Superb Service & Experience - HappycustomerMD
We were looking for a very specific vehicle ( Mustang 5.0 ). We found just what we were looking for and at a great price at "Hayes Chrysler Dodge, Jeep of Gainesville".
This was @ 760 Miles away from us! We didn't mind the drive to get what we wanted, but wanted to be sure we knew all the details before making such a long drive, we didn't want any surprises after driving 760 miles.
The guys at Hayes understood, and made sure everything was as expected and patiently answered all of our questions about the car! Joe Smith (sales) and John (Finance Manager) were Superb! When we arrived, everything was just as they had told us!!! We were so pleased and the car was perfect! Knowing how long of a drive that we had, they had everything ready for us and had us on our way in our purchase very quickly. Everything went so smoothly and just as we had discussed. They were so helpful and kind as well!
We love the car and the experience was exceptional. We would drive again to purchase from them! These guys will take great care of you! Thank you, Hayes, Joe, and John... for taking such good care of us and working with us to get our deal done perfectly!

James Akins is the man!! - J5atl
I purchased a vehicle from Palmer Dodge back in may 2016 but an accident involving a teen driver totaled my vehicle just a few months later. I had such a good experience with James Akins and the rest of the Palmer team that I knew that's where I wanted to purchase a replacement vehicle. I contacted James and let him know about the situation. He immediately exspessed how he was sorry that happened his disbelief in the situation. I let him know that I saw another vehicle online that I was interested in and he immediately when to confirm that the vehicle was there and had it pulled up front waiting on me to come check it out. The car was priced higher than what I wanted to and he went to work for me to get the best deal possible, even at his own exspense (I think he received a bit of a tongue lashing for all that he was doing on my behalf). He got the deal done!! Because of my tight schedule we were able to transfer a majority of the info over the phone so when I came in the process would be quick and easy. And that's exactly what it was. I couldn't be happier with my new car or the service that I receive by James Akins and the rest of the Palmer team.

My boyfriend and I went on March 4, 2017 to buy a Dodge Ram. We told the salesman what we wanted, what we wanted to pay and he found exactly what we wanted and the payments we wanted. We were approved and out in no time with our new truck.

Excellent worry-free experience- - Yentl and Terrence
My fiancé and I had been looking to buy a SUV, and had our mind set on a Durango. We didn't get the Durango, but our salesman, Donald Bentley, introduced us to the 2017 Dodge Journey. At first the Journey was out of the question( for me anyway). But Donald refused the let us leave unsatisfied. Long story short we bought the Journey, and Donald made it so easy!! We've had our SUV for about 3 weeks now and we're in LOVE! I highly recommend Athens Dodge, not only Donald but the whole staff was AWESOME! We will be purchasing our future cars from them.

Awesome experience - Richard Janes
I looked online for about a month for my challenger I went to other dealerships but they were either too pushy or nowhere to be found a coworker recommended James O'Neal . I emailed Keith Hicks
about a car I wanted to test drive. When I met him he was extremely nice the whole atmosphere of
the dealership was very comfortable and I never felt pressured in any way. I highly recommend Keith Hicks and James O'Neal CDJR.
Only interested in getting the check! - Henry45
I was looking to buy a used vehicle I found listed on the internet. Everything started of nicely and I was told that the car is still available. We proceeded back and forth via e-mail few times getting more info on the car and how I could arrange to go and see the vehicle. Since I was coming from another state this was not so easy as to drive up there.
Soon all I was getting from the sales person was requests to send over a check. I had not seen the car and even the quote was wrong in the beginning. When I asked if they could hold the car until I can arrange my visit they said no. I even said I could put on a down payment but they wanted the whole sum.
I then requested if they could organize a transport for the car since I live more that 1000 miles away but again firm no. I even offered to pay for the transport. Still no. At this point dealer stopped answering my e-mails and I thought that was it. Case closed. I did receive one phone call thou asking again if I had already send the check!!!
My advice is to avoid this dealer. No service just after your money and this all happened before I even saw the car.
Disagreement on value of trade in - MJ
Mar 3 2017 sales man Cornelius Robinson was excellent. Unfortunately did not purchase vehicle could not reach agreement on trade in value with management and was the way too long. Would recommend Cornelius though. He apologized about the extremely long wait and even called to make sure we made it back to Columbus safely

Price not honored, overcharged on taxes - Racer123
The "on sale" price changed drastically.....overcharged all the way around.....promises...talk and never any action. Phone calls only and never take care of you.
Buyer beware - Rockmedows
Very dishonest management went in to buy a preowned truck for 29995,when the paper work was being processed the truck magically transformed into 35995. A 6000 difference. Was there all day. Manager said that the 29995 was a typo. Finance guy said that the shop changes ties and brakes and added another 6000 on to the price of the truck. They tell you one price just to bait you. To get you in and then that's when they try to rip you off. Even the salesman and woman told me that they do it all the time with deceptive prices. So buyers beware. Should be a law against that type of behavior. I will complain to the office of consumer affairs and the I team
Great service - Jim Panepento
Thanks to Newnan Chrysler Jeep for the fast and professional service I received from your service department today. A special thank you to Steve Butler - the technician that did the work!
Positive outcome - MTeasley
Purchased a new vehicle after a horrifying experience at another dealer that same morning. Sales associate Alonzo was fabulous! Was in and out in less than 3 hours, with new Jeep!
Absolutely dishonest! - Steven Clift
Advertised price was $16495. They tried to sell it to me for 17900. Then I saw the add for the exact car. I asked and he said not everyone qualified for that price. Then he showed me the price as $19900. I said this is not right and told him I think I should get the car for $15000. He was not rude but said that is not going to happen. So we left. Very Dishonest!
good service department - karen
The manager assigned to my car very helpful as far as explaining tire wear and rotation results. He came and talked to me to give me updates when my car was being serviced too. I have had 4 recalls and one oil tire rotation service done at Akin. I was able to talk with the service rep assigned to my car. Usually I find they just take the vehicle and do what ever then you pay ...done. Not at Akin! They are polite and check back with you periodically. The waiting area has complimentary drinks and computer area for you to use. I noticed many people were working on computers as they got car service done. Bathrooms are big and clean as well. I always have had a great service experience at Akin and will buy my next car there. We have been impressed with the phone communication as we go through the recalls on all 3 of our Dodge vehicles. Akin people have made it easy to stay in touch as we waited for airbags to become available Very impressive. Thank you.
Watch your paperwork! - hoopdi.com
If you are unlucky enough to be buying a car here, make sure that you watch the "business manager" like a hawk when signing paperwork. Things magically appear and get buried into your financing... like wheel protection and other junk.
If you are smart, get your own financing and sell your trade to an auto buyer, these guys will convolute the paperwork and cram something in there.
After confronting management and even the owner, it was determined that this place is shady.
I should add that you should never buy an extended warranty or any type of protection package from these guys and avoid all Pope dealerships at all costs.
Most, if not all of these other reviews clamoring about a specific sales person are fake. These guys cannot keep a sales guy for more than a few months before they quit because or get fired because they are too honest.
FEMALES NOT WELCOME: disregarded, tossed-aside, and abused - WhitneyDC07
Recently, I visited the Robert Loeher dealership of Cartersville. I was apprehensive going alone as I've heard horror stories of young women being taken advantage of financially at dealerships and auto shops for years. I was hopeful that this would, in fact, not be the case for me. I was wrong. Initially, I met with a Mr. Jason Boyd to look at available Jeep Wranglers on the property. I had no intention of buying that day which Mr. Boyd knew from our weeks of communication. Having never bought a car from a dealership before, I specifically sought out the family member of a friend (Mr. Boyd) so that my experience would be a positive one and so that I would not become yet another statistic of female abuse in the business place.
After being thrown into a whirlwind process full of lies and exaggerated statements, I found myself signing papers that were either not explained to me or were very poorly explained to me. As a customer, I expected to be guided through the necessary paperwork when I was ready to purchase as I am not a lawyer and, therefore, am not familiar with legal jargon.
Once home, I reviewed my paperwork and realized that Mr. Boyd, along with the finance manager Mr. John Freeman, had altered our agreement without consulting me. During the purchasing process, both had guided me through which boxes to check so that my paperwork would reflect our verbal agreement that been negotiated in Mr. Boyd's office. Once I noticed the inconsistencies, I contacted Mr. Boyd to request that the paperwork be updated to remove the products that were not agreed upon. Mr. Boyd informed me that I could come into the office the following Monday to fix the problem and assured me that our agreement still stood. After driving over an hour to the dealership, I was tossed around from salesman to salesman. Mr. Boyd never attempted to speak with me and was actively avoiding communication. A different employee, Mr. Jordan Donehoo, spoke with me and told me that my paperwork was final and that my only option was a "collateral swap" by sending the bank a new contract along with a $2,000 check. After speaking with a manager at another dealership, I learned that this was, in fact, NOT a collateral swap by definition. Mr. Donahoo informed me Tuesday that the bank approved this "collateral swap." Days later, after several failed attempts at contacting Mr. Donahoo, he informed me that the bank had already cashed in my original contract and that the new contract would not be moving forward. With this information, I spoke again with a trusted friend who managed another dealership and was advised to request a customer cancellation request form so that I could remove the products that were wrongfully placed in my initial paperwork by Mr. Boyd and Mr. Freeman. After calling to confirm that this was possible, I arrived at the dealership approximately one hour later and was then informed that I would NOT be able to do so since the employee of that particular office had since left. Mr. Donahoo then offered to fax me the paperwork on Monday.
This process has been much longer and more difficult than it needed to be. I was whirlwinded into purchasing, bounced around like an insignificant child when I voiced concern, and all-around disregarded. I will NEVER recommend this dealership as it has lived up to my initial fears of the female automobile experience.
