Superior service from original sale to recent service experi - alan
Mike Hayes' reputation for integrity and service flows from the top down to every level of the organization. Special kudos to Tory King in the service department for excellent diagnostics and fixing the car right the first time. He is a classic example of doing every thing he said he would do in a timely manner.
Great car buying experience! - P. Lemley
We were in the market for a new small SUV. We shopped several places and then a friend recommended Shottenkirk. So glad we stopped by and met Ed. He made the process easy and we were treated like family.
We really love our new Jeep.
Thank you again Ed and the entire Shottenkirk Team!
Top Reviewed Specialists At This Dealership
Honest and personable people! - Penam2000
I've bought a lot of cars in my life but this is the first time I left the showroom with a smile. The entire team was friendly, patient and straight forward. Thank you to Bob Shiver for helping me choose the best car, one that I could afford! Troncalli is the way to go.
Simply AWESOME - Mr Harley
This is our second car from them and the experience is amazing this dealership actually treat you like humans instead of a dollar sign. Jeff and James do everything they can to get you approved simply because they care, which is a rare quality these days. My husband and I thank you all so much for all that y'all do.
Love my new truck!!! - Candy A Stimpson
I had the best time buying my first new truck. The friendliness of all the employees and there team work is the best. I made new friends instead of just a dealership.. They are the best..
New Charger SRT 392 - D.Wheeler
I've been wanting a Charger SRT 392 for quite some time now. While working with Tyler Boucher, it was an overall wonderful experience. He was very professional and got me a better deal than their competitors. Mr. Boucher answered every question I asked. Hayes Chrysler dealership even had better cars than the previous dealership I visited that day. I did not feel pressured into buying my car. Tyler and his management team are the best. If I ever decide to buy another Dodge, I'll definitely do business again with these guys. Thanks everyone especially Tyler Boucher.
Awesome sales team - Jeff D Rogers/Patriot Sport
The sales department at University Dodge went above and beyond to get me in the vehicle of my choice. The overall experience was so easy and it didn't take me all day to purchase my vehicle. These guys really do care about their customers and I will recommend to all my friends and family. Again thank you for helping me get thru this so easy.
James Akins is the man!! - J5atl
I purchased a vehicle from Palmer Dodge back in may 2016 but an accident involving a teen driver totaled my vehicle just a few months later. I had such a good experience with James Akins and the rest of the Palmer team that I knew that's where I wanted to purchase a replacement vehicle. I contacted James and let him know about the situation. He immediately exspessed how he was sorry that happened his disbelief in the situation. I let him know that I saw another vehicle online that I was interested in and he immediately when to confirm that the vehicle was there and had it pulled up front waiting on me to come check it out. The car was priced higher than what I wanted to and he went to work for me to get the best deal possible, even at his own exspense (I think he received a bit of a tongue lashing for all that he was doing on my behalf). He got the deal done!! Because of my tight schedule we were able to transfer a majority of the info over the phone so when I came in the process would be quick and easy. And that's exactly what it was. I couldn't be happier with my new car or the service that I receive by James Akins and the rest of the Palmer team.
****Your service manager is excellent!!!!! **** - Brian Carroll
Tim Henderson, the Service Manager of Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep has been extremely helpful to my rare and unique situation which had me in a very bad spot.
In my opinion, Tim has went far out of his way of the norm concerning what a typical service manger would do, especially these days. Admittedly, I even took out some frustration on him when he didn't deserve it, yet he was still gracious and understanding and attacked the problem for me anyway.
Landmark Dodge Chrysler Jeep: You should consider giving him a raise. I had a very rare issue with new car while out of town - 6hr from home, and Tim has exceeded my expectations in every way. Above and beyond, by far.
I don't live in GA, but if you ever need car service around Morrow, GA - go see Tim and his people. He runs a tight ship and they do exactly as they say.
Bravo, Landmark Dodge.
Best, Brian Carroll - Jax, FL

Excellent worry-free experience- - Yentl and Terrence
My fiancé and I had been looking to buy a SUV, and had our mind set on a Durango. We didn't get the Durango, but our salesman, Donald Bentley, introduced us to the 2017 Dodge Journey. At first the Journey was out of the question( for me anyway). But Donald refused the let us leave unsatisfied. Long story short we bought the Journey, and Donald made it so easy!! We've had our SUV for about 3 weeks now and we're in LOVE! I highly recommend Athens Dodge, not only Donald but the whole staff was AWESOME! We will be purchasing our future cars from them.

I cannot recommend. Completely mislead - Todd Trappe
I do not recommend this dealership. I called and took multiple steps to confirm van is available and get a sales mangers price approval. I was told their policy is that they cannot hold cars, but they can hold keys if you are on your way. I drive with my family to the dealership, test drive the car, and ask salesman to talk to finalize deal. Sales manager comes out and tells me GM sold car last night to cancer patient, but they have not paid money for it. I have the keys in my hand. Sales manager argues that the dealership as the right to choose whom to sale a car to. In my opinion. This is a significant issue with either their integrity or the sales process.
I will try to state the facts, you can make the judgement call. I called the used dealership for a Honda Odyssey I found online. I ask multiple times to confirm that the van is available because I have been misled before. I even check the stock number, make sure the vehicle is on the site, I ask for pictures that he sends me taken on his phone, and hold the keys for me. I have a 2 young boy and my wife is 7 months pregnant. I tell the salesman to be certain I can buy the car. On the phone. We discuss price, and he offers a price that he confirmed with a manager, but says they might be able to come down if I come out (normal sales pitch). My family drives to the dealership, I test drive the van. The salesman tells me the mislabeled the price due to missing feature and it is a great deal (normal sales pitch stuff). He says they cannot hold cars and they do not take any deposits. They can only hold keys if you are on your way. I inspect it closer and then request the salesman again. Then a sales manager comes out tells the GM who is at a conference, sold the car last night to a cancer patient.
I ask if they have paid the money for the car, and they said no. Generally when a car is sold, the keys are removed from the pool. The sales manager then states that salesman did not lie to me b/c he did not know it was sold. He begins to argue me on what a lie is and is not. I say that it is deception on part of the dealership (whether it is a process flaw or person). He then argues with me that a dealership has the right to choose to who to sell a vehicle to. I state that we had a verbal agreement, I have the money to purchase, I have the keys in my hand, and this has taken hours of my morning with my family. He does not sell the car.
Disagreement on value of trade in - MJ
Mar 3 2017 sales man Cornelius Robinson was excellent. Unfortunately did not purchase vehicle could not reach agreement on trade in value with management and was the way too long. Would recommend Cornelius though. He apologized about the extremely long wait and even called to make sure we made it back to Columbus safely
everyone was very attentive and nice and it could deserve a - sher bear
I gave a 4-star because none of us are perfect but it was as perfect as it could be very good service I knew everything was going to be done right it was done in a very timely manner very clean very pleasant didn't feel weird being a girl I really appreciated having my car there and doing business thank you all very very much
Wonderful customer service - Koryleslie12
I was totally new to purchasing a vehicle, but soon as I walked into the dealership I was greeted by genuinely? friendly people. Within 10 minutes of disgusting what I wanted from a vehicle. My saleswomen set me up with some paperwork while she drove around my soon to be Jeep Wrangler. Although I was originally interested in a more inexpensive vehicle. Once she told me the numbers on the Jeep, I knew I was getting not only a great deal, but a great vehicle with great value. I'm grateful to have been able to work with (in my opinion) the best salesperson in Town!!
Price not honored, overcharged on taxes - Racer123
The "on sale" price changed drastically.....overcharged all the way around.....promises...talk and never any action. Phone calls only and never take care of you.
Buyer beware - Rockmedows
Very dishonest management went in to buy a preowned truck for 29995,when the paper work was being processed the truck magically transformed into 35995. A 6000 difference. Was there all day. Manager said that the 29995 was a typo. Finance guy said that the shop changes ties and brakes and added another 6000 on to the price of the truck. They tell you one price just to bait you. To get you in and then that's when they try to rip you off. Even the salesman and woman told me that they do it all the time with deceptive prices. So buyers beware. Should be a law against that type of behavior. I will complain to the office of consumer affairs and the I team
Great service - Jim Panepento
Thanks to Newnan Chrysler Jeep for the fast and professional service I received from your service department today. A special thank you to Steve Butler - the technician that did the work!
Positive outcome - MTeasley
Purchased a new vehicle after a horrifying experience at another dealer that same morning. Sales associate Alonzo was fabulous! Was in and out in less than 3 hours, with new Jeep!
FOR NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER - tracey.boggs
This was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had with purchasing a car and we've been married 21 years. We purchased a car from this dealership and drove 4 hours to pick it up. 20 minutes from arrival, these arrogant, money hungry morons called and told us they sold the car. The General Manager is an egotistical disrespectful man with no soul. There is no decency with these folks. Bad business....run from this place!
good service department - karen
The manager assigned to my car very helpful as far as explaining tire wear and rotation results. He came and talked to me to give me updates when my car was being serviced too. I have had 4 recalls and one oil tire rotation service done at Akin. I was able to talk with the service rep assigned to my car. Usually I find they just take the vehicle and do what ever then you pay ...done. Not at Akin! They are polite and check back with you periodically. The waiting area has complimentary drinks and computer area for you to use. I noticed many people were working on computers as they got car service done. Bathrooms are big and clean as well. I always have had a great service experience at Akin and will buy my next car there. We have been impressed with the phone communication as we go through the recalls on all 3 of our Dodge vehicles. Akin people have made it easy to stay in touch as we waited for airbags to become available Very impressive. Thank you.
Watch your paperwork! - hoopdi.com
If you are unlucky enough to be buying a car here, make sure that you watch the "business manager" like a hawk when signing paperwork. Things magically appear and get buried into your financing... like wheel protection and other junk.
If you are smart, get your own financing and sell your trade to an auto buyer, these guys will convolute the paperwork and cram something in there.
After confronting management and even the owner, it was determined that this place is shady.
I should add that you should never buy an extended warranty or any type of protection package from these guys and avoid all Pope dealerships at all costs.
Most, if not all of these other reviews clamoring about a specific sales person are fake. These guys cannot keep a sales guy for more than a few months before they quit because or get fired because they are too honest.
FEMALES NOT WELCOME: disregarded, tossed-aside, and abused - WhitneyDC07
Recently, I visited the Robert Loeher dealership of Cartersville. I was apprehensive going alone as I've heard horror stories of young women being taken advantage of financially at dealerships and auto shops for years. I was hopeful that this would, in fact, not be the case for me. I was wrong. Initially, I met with a Mr. Jason Boyd to look at available Jeep Wranglers on the property. I had no intention of buying that day which Mr. Boyd knew from our weeks of communication. Having never bought a car from a dealership before, I specifically sought out the family member of a friend (Mr. Boyd) so that my experience would be a positive one and so that I would not become yet another statistic of female abuse in the business place.
After being thrown into a whirlwind process full of lies and exaggerated statements, I found myself signing papers that were either not explained to me or were very poorly explained to me. As a customer, I expected to be guided through the necessary paperwork when I was ready to purchase as I am not a lawyer and, therefore, am not familiar with legal jargon.
Once home, I reviewed my paperwork and realized that Mr. Boyd, along with the finance manager Mr. John Freeman, had altered our agreement without consulting me. During the purchasing process, both had guided me through which boxes to check so that my paperwork would reflect our verbal agreement that been negotiated in Mr. Boyd's office. Once I noticed the inconsistencies, I contacted Mr. Boyd to request that the paperwork be updated to remove the products that were not agreed upon. Mr. Boyd informed me that I could come into the office the following Monday to fix the problem and assured me that our agreement still stood. After driving over an hour to the dealership, I was tossed around from salesman to salesman. Mr. Boyd never attempted to speak with me and was actively avoiding communication. A different employee, Mr. Jordan Donehoo, spoke with me and told me that my paperwork was final and that my only option was a "collateral swap" by sending the bank a new contract along with a $2,000 check. After speaking with a manager at another dealership, I learned that this was, in fact, NOT a collateral swap by definition. Mr. Donahoo informed me Tuesday that the bank approved this "collateral swap." Days later, after several failed attempts at contacting Mr. Donahoo, he informed me that the bank had already cashed in my original contract and that the new contract would not be moving forward. With this information, I spoke again with a trusted friend who managed another dealership and was advised to request a customer cancellation request form so that I could remove the products that were wrongfully placed in my initial paperwork by Mr. Boyd and Mr. Freeman. After calling to confirm that this was possible, I arrived at the dealership approximately one hour later and was then informed that I would NOT be able to do so since the employee of that particular office had since left. Mr. Donahoo then offered to fax me the paperwork on Monday.
This process has been much longer and more difficult than it needed to be. I was whirlwinded into purchasing, bounced around like an insignificant child when I voiced concern, and all-around disregarded. I will NEVER recommend this dealership as it has lived up to my initial fears of the female automobile experience.
Management suppose to lead by example! You've been warned! - Ms. S. Harris
This is far the worse dealership to take your car for service! You don't receive any follow up phone calls, inexperienced mechanics and horrible Management! I have been going back and forth for months with my Jeep Laredo and they still haven't fix the problem! A Engineer was supposedly scheduled to work in my truck, I have yet to hear from anyone!!!!
