Purchase of 2013 Chevrolet 3500 HD Dual Wheel Diesel - Brian McCormick
My experience in purchasing this truck was outstanding. I found the vehicle on line, called the dealership, made an appointment, went to see the vehicle, and purchased the vehicle. I was able to do all of this within a few hours. The vehicle I wanted was ready for me to checkout when I arrived at the dealership.
My initial contact at the dealership was Ron Holz, who did an excellent job gathering information and getting it to me. My second contact was Jim Conti, who also did an excellent job. More like an outstanding job going over the vehicle history, explaining things extremely well and took as much time as I needed. From the time I walked into the dealership till I actually purchased the truck was only about two hours. The Business Manager/finance manager, Steve O'Donnell also did an excellent job with the warranty and business end of things. Both Steve and Jim provided not only excellent service, but excellent advice.
I was very happy that Mastria had the vehicle I needed since I use both the Mazda (formerly Saturn) and GMC dealerships to service my other vehicles, and that service has always been excellent, something that is not the case in some dealerships.
Thanks again to Rob, Jim, and Steve.
Highway Emergency - Buickguy1968
earlier this summer while traveling on Route 3 south I had an electrical issue with my car and could not shut the car off. I drove to the nearest Buick dealer and was turned away, so I drove to Battles and they not only assisted me right away, the service people were great! ordered my parts and additional needed repairs were done quick. I will be back to Battles in the future.
Vendetti Motors Great value No nonsense - Anna Mendes-O'Leary
I just purchased a new 2016 Buick Encore. We had the time and we were not in a rush to buy so we visited many dealerships in our area including other competitors like Ford,Toyota, Honda to check out their inventory and what value they had to offer. WE chose Vendetti Motors for their honesty, no games, no nonsense prcing, no pressure, and best value for the money. I would highly reccommend Vendetti Motors.
Great great service - S Doyle
I always bring my truck for any services and the service department is great. They answer all my questions and love that I don't have to make an appointment for a Saturday morning. Price for service is great.
On time and accurate - Ace is the place
Molly Rouille, service advisor, knows my car and is always giving accurate, on time service.
I purchased my car at another dealership but the service department was too much like a factory.
Lance has the personal attention and accuracy that you want. I will shop for my next car at Lance.
RUN AWAY - betty123
Was more than a little disappointed to find out about the change in management. After dealing with a smuck Alan in finance with my sales rep Anthony, I had to walk out. He was SO clueless and his over-jovial attitude just made things worse, as if trying to mock me and placate me for his mistakes, it was absurd. It was clear they are only there to make money and push people into rush decisions Because of Alan I can confidently say I will never buy chevy again.
Can leasing really be a satisfying experience? - PennyAcme
At Prime it is.
I had been to a couple of GMC dealers and they were all the same. All they cared about was selling me a car, any car. All I could think was that I was a victim of a "Glen Gary, Glen Ross" type of conspiracy. It was terrible and frightening. But I was sure I wanted a Terrain, so I looked arounf and found Dealer Rater that gave Prime GMC a lot of excellent reviews.
I was happy to find that Prime GMC is affiliated with Prime Inifiniti. I had bought a used car from Prime Inifiniti and it was surprisingly good, so I went to Prime GMC with intentions of leasing a Terrain.
At the dealership I was able to walk around without getting harassed by any hovering buzzards. I was even in the showroom for ten minutes just getting comfortable in the backseat of a Terrain, when Mark Beecher introduced himself with casual conversation. He was not practicing the ABCs according to Alec Baldwin.
Oh no, Mark Beecher's only concern was my happiness. He, and Prime, finally figured out that happy people will buy cars without having to go through turmoil and fear. He never even said that we better act fast because these deals won't last. I couldn't stay long and when I left Mark never asked for my phone number. Another salesman at another dealership figured out my phone number from my driver's license, which he used to relentlessly bombard me with inflated ( and maybe fictional) incentives to buy from him.
Mark is nothing but an honorable gentleman dedicated to making friends and building trust. He made sure that I got the exact car I needed and wanted at a fair price. A price that I'm sure could be beat, but I'm happy with my deal. He sent me over to see Ravi McDonnell to help with the finance, who is also a gem of a guy.
We are a two-car family. We plan to lease another car in 18 months, and I'll trade this one in 18 months after that. We expect to get the next car, and the ones after that, form Mark Beecher at Prime GMC, with Ravi McDonnell handling to numbers.
great new car buying experience - mattl
My wife and I just bought a new 2017 Buick Enclave from Central. Worked with Nick Maloon (sales) and Brian Hayes (business manager). Was one of the easiest and most straight forward car buying experiences we have ever had. No games, no tactics, we just checked out the inventory, negotiated a fair price, received a fair-to-generous offer on a high mileage trade-in, and came back to take delivery of the new vehicle at a predetermined time. The process could not have been more direct and efficient. Honestly, I would consider a Buick/GMC for our next car just to be able to replicate such a professional and simple process. Obviously, we have not had service there yet but we have no reason to look any further for maintaining our new Buick!
Bait and Switch - Craig
I told the sales team what car I wanted and what I wanted to spend After 3 visits looking at the same car and being told a price we went in to purchase the car. Arriving there on the 3rd visit I asked to test drive the car one more time so two sales reps walked out gave me the keys and put a plate on the car. After the drive I sat down and the accountant left to get the exact price (which we had already agreed on) but I figured they were adding plate and reg. as we already discussed tax with the original price. The sales rep and accountant returned to ask what car I was purchasing? I replied the car I just test drove and you put a plate on. This is the only car I looked at on the prior visit and all the voicemails I received were about. They told me that they couldn't sell that car for that price but had a different car with twice the mileage that they could. This was the classic bait and switch. I would never go to, call or purchase a car from this dealer. They wasted at least 8 hours of my time with repeated phone calls and 3 visits talking about this car.
Poor Customer Service!!! - kaylapercy14
I had recently had an issue with my 2014 Cruze and had to have it towed to Diamond on Thursday. They returned my car to me same day saying it was the negative battery cable (which is a common issue for the Cruze). Only a few hours later, my car started acting the same way it did before it was brought there so I brought it back. Next day, Friday, they looked at it again and replaced the battery. Josh called me up and assured me that my issue was resolved. Sure enough, Saturday morning it was still having issues. I called both Josh and the General Manager, leaving messages to both of them requesting they call me back. It is now Tuesday and I have not heard from either of them! I brought my car to a different Chevrolet dealership and they were able to diagnose the issue within a day. Considering I work at a different car dealership myself, I know what the process is and what kind of service I should be receiving and I was VERY dissatisfied! I would NOT recommend this service department to anyone...
Almost $2k later and check engine is still ON!!! - Filing a claim!!!
Went in for check engine light. They did $1500 worth of work to gas tank and service. ($1100 gas tank, 400 service). Engine light came on next day. Went back and they said it was purge valve so another $200. Engine light back on next day. I decided to change the gas cap myself. Engine light has been out for a week now. I am filing a claim against this dealership. They had my car for 2 days and failed to notice a transmission leak that was very obvious. Never go here. They just want your money. The friendly act they play is a ploy to get you to feel better about spending money. STAY AWAY!!!
Should've read the reviews first...... - AWG5577
Disappointed, extremely unprofessional, poor communication and completely disorganized. Wanted to do business locally, ended up buying a Ford instead. Sad thing is I really liked the GMC better. Doesn't matter, from the looks of it they don't care about or read these reviews anyway.

Great Service, unexpected surprise - foodie42
I was really surprised at the excellent attention that was demonstrated by Rob Wayburn & Andrew. I wanted a preowned car within a certain price range. My first experience was with Robert several months prior, unfortunately I was unable to find anything at the dealership. Robert took my information and promised to notify me if anything comes in. At this point I was use to this being the last time I'll ever hear from a sales person. Pre-owned cars are a hit or miss issue as it is. To my great surprise, Robert called several months later with a potential car that will meet what I was looking for. SEVERAL MONTHS ! Rob, was attentive and kind, I actually ended up purchasing not the car Rob called about ( it did meet my needs ), but, a slightly more expensive car. I couldn't be more please with my experience as well as the car. I was treated very fairly & respectively. I has some minor issues that I wanted repaired or replaced. I went to Rob, he walked me to the service department & introduced me to Rich in the service department to make sure I knew who to go to. Rich was also friendly & very patient as I tried to explain my issues. Not a problem well take care of it. Even though this is not a GM product, I will continue to have my car serviced at this dealership. I just can't tell you how great my experience has been with Cape GM, Rob should be commended for his outstanding customer service skills, thus , making this dealership stand out more than others I have experience.
I went today to their new dealership located at the old... - ameenii
I went today to their new dealership located at the old Mitsubishi in Portsmouth was looking to lease a new CTS coupe
Was ready to sign and drive as I came to Portsmouth for my niece birthday and I had to go back to NYC for a consultancy and wanted to lease a new car as I lost mine in NYC during sandy
Did get some quotes before going in and had an idea on how much I should spend
The sales person was great and friendly
First red flag was that i emailed them through the cadillac website and their website and no one answered which is weird in a business that kilsl for leads.
i tried to negotiate and the sales associated was nice and understanding while the sales manager did not come to try to close the deal and went to the door to use his judgement buy looking and overhearing and they let me walk out of the door without really trying
I have worked as a sales person and interned as a sales management before earning my MBA and was surprised that they let me walk without even trying.
Will leave tomorrow to NYC buy the car their and fax them the contract
My parents service their DTS their and they are not a big fan either

looking for a dealer? definitely not this one. these people sold me a piece of junk. the car ran ok in the first six months. then it broke every three months in last 12 months. each time with a different problem, from check engine to timing belt to break pads to battery. it already cost me four thousand bucks to repair. these are bunch of dishonest people trying to rob you.
I bought a Buick Rendezvous from Long. On the whole,... - oppyusa
I bought a Buick Rendezvous from Long. On the whole, the price was fine. The Finance guy was a real ass. I nearly walked out. He was pissed that I got an Warranty Direct extend warranty. The service bay is clean. To the point that I am not sure anyone works there. The service people are not all that sharp. For almost a year there was an issue with the speed sensor. They replaced everything but the speed sensor. Finally, they planned to tear apart the transmisson. I got in a fight with the service manager. They finally check the speed sensor. They wiring harness on the sensor had cracked apart.
I just went to them for body work. They sent me to Brigham and Gill. They wanted $1700. They actual repair was done at Muzi for $700.
Long is no better or worse then the rest. The service people are not that sharp. I would buy another car from them but service it elsewhere.

I am a loyal GM Driver yet I take my vehicles for service... - ffemtp14
I am a loyal GM Driver yet I take my vehicles for service (other than warranty stuff) to this Buick dealertship due to the excellence of their service department. Greg's oustanding knowledge of vehicles and his professional approach to customers, along with the workmanship of the mechanics, makes me feel satisfied and I never get the feeling I have been cheated, which is the reason I return time and time again and also refer this service department to my friends.
I worked with Tom on a possible lease on a Buick Encore.... - devad
I worked with Tom on a possible lease on a Buick Encore. I loved the car but did end up choosing a different vehicle. Tom was amazing to work with. His response time was so quick and extremely patient while explaining the terms of a lease to me, multiple times. We got to the dealership on time and he was there and ready with keys and a plate. You could tell that he valued our time and I truly valued his.
His customer service made me second and third guess my decision to go with an alternate vehicle. He was extremely transparent and fair to work with. If I have the opportunity to recommend Tom or Sudbay Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, GMC in the future, I absolutely will, and send them right to Tom!

I was in the market for a new GMC Sierra. The Swanson sales person was very helpful, they had the truck I was looking for. I took a test drive with the salesmen who demonstrated all the safety features and new technology in the new style Sierra's. The sales manager looked at my trade and gave me a fair trade-in value. The salesmen was through too make sure I got all the rebates that applied. He even found a way for me to qualify for supplier pricing and saved me even more money. I would recommend Swanson Buick GMC Truck inc. to anyone looking for a new Sierra. The salesmen and managers were kind, helpful and honest. A great place to do business!!
