I first of all, talked to Charles Johnson over the phone. He stated to come in. He gave the best customer service experience possible. When I say he never rushed me, took his time and it was all about what I wanted and how he could help. When I say after changing my mind over and over again, he still said take your time I'm here if you need me. Car shopping never been so easy until I stepped into Bettenhausen. You guys are the best. I have spent numerous hours sitting in car dealerships with my fiance, listening to them try to talk him into the "best deals ever" that I told him never again. After he went here to look at a new truck, with a bigger back seat that we needed, he persuaded me to check it out. I was so surprised at how genuinely nice and down to earth these people were. Very easy to talk to and understood what we wanted, needed and didn't try to talk us into or tell us what we "had to have" Meghan was our saleswoman and just the sweetest and talked to us like normal people, showing us only what we wanted to see and not pushing for anything else. Dealing with Rob in the financial aspect of things was a good experience also. Wanted to make sure he explained and answered all questions with great patience. No hidden fees or expenses. I would definitely go there again in the future :)

Our sales person was John Provenzano. He was extremely helpful in helping us determine the car/truck that I and my wife Ruthann were interested in purchasing. We valued John's assistance in that he was not pressuring us to purchase a car/truck from him. It was more like him helping us to purchase a car/truck. Some salesman get pretty aggressive in trying to sell you a car and not in helping you purchase a car/truck. That method of salesmanship was very important to us. We would not have purchased the truck from River Front without the assistance of John. Also, Mike was very helpful in explaining the running boards and the cover for the truck bed.

I would at least try out this dealership if they have the car you want. They are accommodating, pleasant to deal with, and really try to make sure you get the vehicle you want for the price you want within reason. I was assisted by Martin Lupa III, a very nice man. He went above and beyond for me, even offering food to my friends who came along. He was not alone. I also witnessed another employee helping a costumer, who could only speak Spanish, by translating what she and her mother had to say to others and getting her the vehicle she wanted. All in all, a great atmosphere for a car dealership/service business. Well worth my time and it will be worth yours.

I don't know about others, but car shopping to me is the equivalent of getting a root canal.
That being said my wife picked up her new Jeep from the Fields group yesterday and I wish I could give them 10 stars.
From the managers Ron, Jim and Paul to the owner Dan Fields you could never want a more conscientious, authentic, caring and harder working group ever.
What could of been a excruciating experience turned into one of the most positive and best experiences ever in buying a car.
They really live, breathe and work tirelessly to give you the best customer experience possible.
They want you to drive out with your Dream and not go thru a nightmare in doing so.
I couldn't recommend them any higher and will buy or lease any and all future cars from this group.

I have never liked shopping at car dealers, I always tried to avoid them at all cost, I know what i want and won't be pushed or convinced otherwise, this is something that every dealer I have ever gone to is good for.... this is NOT the scenario with my experience at Sherman, Mike Morris was our salesman, I can't even put it into words as to how absolutely amazing this man is/was to me and my family, I truly felt beyond comfortable from the moment he approached my family, he didn't jump right down our throats as soon as we entered the lot ( like EVERY other dealership) he listened to us, he did not push us whatsoever, he listened, he knew exactly what to present to us based on this, I truly felt that he wanted to help my family, not just sell us a vehicle. I felt zero pressure to buy anything, may I add, we came in towards the end of the night, 7pm, we left there at probably 11:30, well past the time Mike should have been gone from the shop, I have never met a salesman ever who was this amazing, my wife and I have 3 young children so we were extremely picky as to what we wanted, Mike worked with us the whole way, NO problems at any time,at one point we werent sure they had any van on the lot that suited our needs, i honestly told the wife i WANT to buy a car from this man, i never met someone so motivated, dedicated, concerned, and caring for our exact needs. This is something you don't come across at a car dealership thus the reason I don't care for them, but Sherman dodge was different, and I contribute my beyond amazing experience to Mike Morris my salesmen, my wife and I can't even express or say enough kind words about this man. He changed my mind about car shopping, I will never look to buy from a private seller again, I will go straight to Mike Morris for all my car needs from now on, and recommend everybody to him. Jesse Wright, From sales, Mike Volakis from financing, and Jose Chavez store manager were absolutely amazing as well, they all were of great help, this place runs like a fine oiled machine and I can't say enough great things about this team, EVERY single employee there had a smile and were so kind, after we closed the deal my wife wanted Mike and Jesse asked to get a photo with my 3 young sons, Mike and Jesse were beyond thrilled and actually wanted us to send them the photos, so family oriented, truly a spectacular team that anybody would be proud of....

These guys know what their doing. Tony Smith & Pat Hogan my salesmen was very knowledgeable, and Mo the GM worked with me to get my 2017 Scat Pack Charger. They are very professional and funny. I wasn't pressured at all. I took it on a test and they let me hit the accelerator a couple of times. Gave me the best price on my car, no other dealership would have came close to the price i paid. I will be purchasing future car there for now on...

As soon as I walked in I felt a friendly atmosphere. The salesman Greg Harshbarger walked with me looking at different vehicles and he answered all my questions. I've been to different dealers looking at different cars and I've always felt the salesman not only pressure me to buy the car, but they don't know what they are selling. That was not the case with Greg. He helped me find a beautiful car at a reasonable price. Everyone from Greg to the people in finance made me feel like home. We returned to Benoy to purchase another Wrangler since we were so satisfied with the 2010 Wrangler that we had gotten. Saw the 2016 on the website and made the trip to Benoy. We were really happy to see that Gary Merritt was still there as he came out to greet us as we pulled in and he recognized the Green Jeep. From that moment on we were convinced that Benoy was the Jeep dealership we wanted to do business with. The Owners also were very nice to us and made us feel like familiar customers.

Right from the start my online inquiry was answered. by Jacob Packley. I went to the dealership to see the 2012 Lincoln MKZ., travelling from Joliet. Jacob met with me, he was very nice and personable. We went for a test drive he was very knowledgeable about the features of the car. Later we talked numbers, I met Bob the sales manager, he also was very nice. Jacob, Bob and I hammered out a deal and had a pleasant time doing that--no stress !!!! We agreed to finalize the deal on Mon. 12/7/15 as this was Sat. 12/5/15 and was getting dark. I don't like driving at night. So, Monday it was very foggy, Jacob, out of the kindness of his heart offered to drive to Joliet to get me. I am 65yrs. old and had concerns about the weather. I just purchased a 2017 Subaru Impreza Hatchback at Liberty Auto City Subaru. What a delightful experience! Immediately after expressing an interest in the Impreza on the Subaru website, Terri Israel reached out to me to see exactly what I wanted. She forwarded that information to their sales staff, and I arranged a test drive. Upon my arrival, the front desk already knew what I wanted. Charles Perchak took me on a test drive and answered all my questions- but NO pressure.
The more research I did, the more it was apparent I needed to move quickly, as the Imprezas were moving off the lot. Charles was on his days off, but no worries- Patrick Kozyra graciously filled in and worked out the details on getting the Impreza of my dreams from another dealership, since Liberty's inventory didn't match the options and accessories I desired. Patrick and Elmer Hansen put together a very fair price for the Impreza, and worked with me on my trade-in. Charles picked-up the ball and assembled all my paperwork and facilitated the purchasing process. He showed me how to operate all the many bells and whistles of my beautiful new car, and walked me over to finance guru Scott Cogan. Scott explained my financing options, extended warranty options, and again- NO pressure. I spoke with Chris G. from the service department to ask about any break-in period on the vehicle. He was so helpful, as well. And after my purchase, I received a very nice e-mail from Customer Relations Manager, Agata Klos, ensuring I had a good experience.
All in all, I highly recommend this friendly, knowledgeable staff. Anyone looking for a new car in the Lake County/IL area, give these folks a chance to help you out; you'll be happy you did!
