So let me start by giving you some context... I called up a friend in the car business and asked him to give me his best price on a very specific vehicle. He game back with a figure of $530.00 per month. I asked him if this was the best price he could give me...He assured me that this indeed was the best price he could give me and the best price around so i figured this is how much the vehicle would cost. Keep in mind he works for another GMC dealer so we are comparing apples to apples. He stated that he was going to have to order the vehicle in from another dealer and that he would have locate it. I just had this feeling that i needed to shop the price just to make sure. I called 4 other GMC dealers and gave them the very same spiel. I gave them the specifics of the vehicle and stated that i was looking for a 39 month lease. I told them that i do not like to haggle so please give me your absolute best price. One dealer came in at 555 per month, another came back at 521...another at 509 and then the last one which is Fox Valley Buick GMC came back at a stunning $469.99. I said...No sir...Maybe there is a mistake. I gave him all the vehicle details again and he said...Yep 469.99 is our price. I was like..Wow...ok ill be in today to look at the numbers. His name was James...And he said, that's great...When you come in, please ask for Justin Mansk. He is our sales manager and he will work with you directly. I walked in to a very nice showroom and was immediately greeted by the receptionist. I stated that i was here to see Justin. Within seconds, he walked out and introduced himself. I explained to him that i was given a price over the phone of 469.99 and i was just waiting for him to say yes BUT...That didn't happen! He goes yes that is our price but i want to go over some numbers with you so that we can see if you qualify for any additional incentives. We started playing with some numbers and monthly price started dropping from the already low quote. I seriously thought that I was on a game show being filmed...I asked him how he could get the proce down so low from a price that my friend said was the best he could do. Justin took the time to go over the numbers with me including how things were calculated. Long story short, my friend called me back and was able to offer a lower price than that of Justin's offer. I told him what the offer was and he found a way to beat the offer of 439.99 and get it to me for 421.00. I am not going to tell you what vehicle it was due to privacy and the discretion of the dealer but i chose to work with Justin and Fox Valley Buick GMC because i asked him for his best price and he truly put his best foot forward..I wish my friend could have done the same thing. The experience did not stop there. The vehicle i wanted had to be ordered from another dealer. My friend called me and asked that i put a deposit down before he could order the vehicle. I asked Justin if he wanted to take my credit card for a deposit to order the vehicle...He looked at me and says " When you work with me, you are family and family does not do that. Your hand shake is enough assurance for me so i will not need a deposit from you". This truthfully has been the best experience i have ever had at a dealer. I was so impressed that i referred a family member to them the following day and he also bought the same vehicle. This dealership and the people that comprise it are absolutely top notch. They ARE willing to go the extra mile and truly build a relationship with you. Please go see them as i am positive you will have the same experience i did.

I went to Harvard Chevrolet to see what kind of good deals were available for a 1500 series crew cab pickup. The staff was able to explain and find the best deals on 2015 models, but then we found out that leasing was not available as part of the deal.
I was discouraged, but not the Harvard team. Dan, Todd and Gregg worked together to make me a great offer on a 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 that had everything I wanted, and the right lease terms too. I drove away in a beautiful new truck and a big smile on my face.

My husband and I just had a horrible experience at Harbour GMC.. We walked into Paul Sur and we were treated with kindness and respect.. Charles was able to find us the exact truck we wanted and we were given a loaner car until are truck came in 2 weeks later . When we went to the dealership to pick up the truck Charles took the time to explain all the amazing things the vehicle could do . He also took the time to sync up all of our phones and explained that we could get free oil changes and regular maintenance for 2 years . . When we were leaving the dealership we were thanked for coming in by Charles., Jeff Hall the sales manager and Mike Sur the owner . We have never experienced that before with any new car we purchased .. We try to tell all the people we come in contact how great we were treated at Paul Sur compared to Harbour GMC in Portage.

I used to get services done here. I believe Jim is the gentleman name. He always took care of me, helped me out. Then one day he was not there and it was a totally different crew. I had the worst experience ever. I gave this place another shot to open the door and see that friendly face was back! I was very glad to see him and that the crew changed back to what it was before. This man always makes sure my car and I are taken care of, he is always super friendly and smiling. Always remembers me and asks how I've been. Very good employee.

I am always pleased when I walk into the Chevy Dealership here in Dekalb,IL. Everyone is always nice and greet you at the door. I usually get help from Jason who takes care of my vehicle needs. He always give me options as to what I can do to take care of my car. Rather its choosing the most affordable tires or my vehicles future needs that I need to keep in mind. When my car Axel needed repair I couldn't afford it right away, and that's when Jason offered me a dealers car to get back and forth to work for the week. I really appreciated that! He encouraged me to take care of my important bills like my rent that was due the same day that my vehichle broke down,and to prioritize. I felt carefree because of Jason, knowing that he was doing everything that he could to help until I came up with the money I needed to repair my car. He took the stress and heavy burdens off of my shoulders, and I can't say that any other dealership have ever treated me that well! I recommend everyone I know to visit Dekalb Chevrolet. Whenever I come to get something as simple as an oil change these guys take care of me right away. My wait time is not long and my visits are always pleasant! The refreshments are great and I feel very comfortable walking into that place trusting that they will take care of my vehicle needs in the most fast and friendly way possible. Previously purchased a car from them and had a great experience. This time? Not so much. First, I called and was told upon running my information that I was APPROVED for $20k, no money down. Now, because I've had some bad experiences with car dealerships previously, I tried to confirm preapproval or APPROVAL?? I was told that I was approved. So I send in all my paperwork and verified whether it was confirmed. I was told it was. I get a phone call a few days later asking if I was able to send in the information prior to my appointment?? I ask what paperwork, since I had already sent everything in. Apparently, one person received it and a completely different person had no idea. I go in for my appointment, wait for 3 hours and I'm told my license was suspended. I leave and immediately get my license issue corrected, called back to advise them that it was done and rescheduled for the following saturday. Now, I'd asked that they verify all the necessary information prior to my new appointment as I didn't want to make an unnecessary trip again. For the next 3 days, instead of receiving calls as I had asked, I had to do all the work. Asked if my license was verified as being valid (which I, myself was able to do) I was first told no, they weren't able to reach anyone at the secretary of state's office.now I found that odd, since I was able to do so (despite long hold times).at this point I'm told no one had actually called because they were too busy, but assured me it would be done before my appointment. I had to continuously call to verify whether they had done this and kept being told it was busy, call volume was high, etc. Called the day before my appointment and one of the girls tells me that it was still showing as invalid through the automated system, I had to keep explaining that it needed to be through a live person as I had an issue with the automated system as well. Finally, another young lady says in the background "let her know I verified it. I was on hold for like 40 minutes" ok fine. So I ask, as I had continuously done during previous conversations if there was ANYTHING else needed before I make another trip. Once again, I'm told no, the bank has already given the approval, all I need to do is come in and sign my paperwork. So I leave work early saturday, and come in and wait for another 2 1/2 hours. I even stepped into Kevin's office once he was done with one customer to ask if they were waiting on anything? I'm told no, they're just busy.now in the meantime, they had asked a question on whether i had another checkstub as the ones that I had provided didn't show a full time employment status. I explain that I've been out a few days over the past few weeks as my mom was ill, but provided another pay stub anyway & my offer letter indicating my monthly pay. So, about 45 minutes before they close, Kevin sends one of his assistants in to tell me they need ANOTHER checkstub & they can't do anything for me at the moment. she then explains that hes TRYING to get me approved, but right now I need a $1k downpayment. how did we go from a no money down approval to a $1k downpayment once I'm there. So I tell her, this is the 2nd time I've come in after doing ALL the legwork & asking multiple times what else was needed. So I asked to speak directly with Kevin...so once he's done he comes in and I let him know I'm upset... I'm told "you can be as pissed as you want, we still need another checkstub" so at this point, I'm MORE upset because Kevin himself had told me that everything else was done, as of our last appointment. he tells me "well maybe I made a mistake but we need another checkstub" so I ask WHY didn't someone tell me, & I would've waited until I had gotten my newest check and waited until then to come in.Kevin: we need a full time checkstub.me:Ok,WHY did everyone tell me everything else was done if thats the case?Kevin: *slaps desk* we need a full time checkstub, bring me that and we can get it done.Me: ok, when I bring THAT in, it will just be another issue.Kevin: *slaps desk* I need a full time checkstub. now at this point, I'm upset because as opposed to addressing the errors that were clearly made, he decided to continue being condescending. Then tells me "you can lower your voice, or I'm NOT selling you a car" oh really? after YOU made the errors that caused me to be upset in the first place. So I continue asking, why wasn't I told this prior. At which point he tells me, he's done and he's not selling me a car. So I say FINE!!! I ended up speaking with the manager Morry, who listened to my concerns, however, I'm sure it ultimately fell on deaf ears because its one person and Kevin is part of his staff. He told me that he would wait until Kevin calms down and would see if he wants to do business then. I declined and asked how fairly I'd be treated at that point and I let him know I'm not going to beg anyone to take my business. 1 sale may not mean much, but word of poor customer service travels.
Biggest lemon ever - Carguy123
I purchased a used 2003 Monte Carlo from them in Early spring of 2016, beautiful car or so I thought. A week after I bought the car I get a check engine light for evaporate emissions small leak, no big deal easy fix. Three days later I'm driving down the road start hearing a wheel bearing going bad right front and then I get no trac and abs light, bad wheel speed sensor. So then it rains that same week and my sunroof is a waterfall and soaks my floor board every time it rains. So then last month early July I turn my wheel to the right and hear a load pop every there after and so I look under the car and I have a broken spring that popped out of the mount again right front side. On top of my now drivers door with a bad hinge that grabs the fender and the ever growing exhaust leak the pronounced itself 2 weeks after I bought the car. I will NEVER buy another car from them, sold me the biggest lemon ever. I understand you can expect some issues with buying a used car but it is apparent they never inspected this car. I bought a used Chevrolet from a Chevrolet deal expecting to get a little better used car for my money and I was wrong. They are a terrible deal and from what it looks like they flip all their cars as fast as possible and think nothing of the consumer. Please do not waste your time and hard earned money at this shifty dealer.

Not only did this dealership and the service department smile in my face with lies AND Buick warranty service is garbage as well. I pay 30000 for my enclave only to have consistent issues with it. I take it to another Buick dealer after this service dept. keeps telling me all the issues and transmission issues are in my head this is just how the truck is and another Buick dealer looks over the truck finds the issues I stated AND MORE! 10000 worth of repairs needed!
Never buy a Buick and even if you wanna buy a used or GMC or whatever never use Napelton either. I have left several messages for their GM as well and never got a call back.
So unless you are a mechanic and a psychic.... don't bother walking in here unless you feel like giving your money away or paying for aggravation. Literally had to trade take a huge hit and got myself a new truck. what a waste!

Was having the same issue with my car that was recalled and replaced the year prior where my car wouldn't randomly start and after having my car for two weeks and saying it started for them everyday and they couldn't find an issue on the day I went to get it the battery was dead and it had a flat tire. How did this happen if it was started up everyday? On top of that they charged me to not find any issues. I would never recommend this dealership for any kind of service, I was actually considering getting a new car but will not give this particular store my business. It's so obvious they parked my car and did nothing further to it and then charged me.
