Andrew knows how to treat a customer. No sales bs- will go through what dealership asks him to go through, but no high end pressure tactics. It was more like having a family conversation rather than cut throat in your face sales like other salespeople. Need to respect and listen to one another , which Andrew has the highest respect for a customers well being. It's a long process, and Andrew made us very comfortable. Been a long time customer at Valley Honda due to the people in the front lines. Congrats to the Service team, Sales, Finance, Car Prep, Parts Dept that we were in contact with.
I do shop around to other dealers, but give Valley Honda the last shot. This is only my option, but after many years they have earned it with the dedicated employees they have.
When people shine- they deserve to be recognized. Andrew better hand out sun glasses - congrats, a satisfied customer

This is my second Honda Odyssey purchase at Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn and it was super smooth, quick and wonderful. I chose the car I wanted, they gave me what I needed for my trade in and I was in and out in a couple of hours from start to finish. My salesperson, Christian was fantastic and informative and helped me transfer my things. He showed me how to use all of the "fancy" new things on my van and made sure that I knew how to set everything up before I left the dealership. The Sales manager, Russ was fantastic and Tony in finance was not scary at all- he was informative and helpful and not pushy. I am so glad that I did not have to waste time shopping around, I went straight to Ed Napleton Honda in Oak Lawn and bought exactly what I wanted. LOVE my minivan!

Today I brought my 2015 Honda Civic in to have an oil leak checked out. I intended to pick up my Civic the following day, but realized when I returned home that my house keys were attached to my car keys, both of which were still at the dealership. I was frantically driving to the dealership at 6:40 PM to get my car/ house keys before the service station closed at 7:00. Eric was no longer on duty at the dealership, but he still went above and beyond to communicate with me and to make sure that my car would be available when I arrived. He made additional phone calls and also communicated with the staff present there at the time. As I was leaving the dealership, Fred assured me that he wouldn't have left until I arrived. I am so thankful that the service staff happily helped me out in a time of need. They're awesome. Thank you!

Jeff and Gary were awesome. My son needed a new car, I called Sale Manager Jeff Deiters to inquire about different models and payments. While on our way to dealership Jeff called us to see when we were coming. I told him we were on our way and when we pulled into dealership, he had the cars my son was interested in, sitting in front of dealership ready for him to test drive and decide on which one he wanted with no pressure. Received a great deal, but more than just price, they let us make our choice, help with options and treated my son who is 21 with great respect!! I would recommend this dealership to everyone!!

We went in to lease a new civic.They agreed to honour a quote from a competitor dealer and told us to come and that the quote would be honored. We spent 2 hours, did all the paper work,test drove, asked and made sure we were on page with our quote (ran the credit) and at the very end they stated they cant give the car for the quote we had and offered a price higher than any other dealer we asked. Finance person Shiraaz was worse than a slacky used car salesman. We didnot agree to his pathetic counter-offer (again higher than anyother dealership) and at my defense i only claimed why they agreed to match a quote from elsewhere and call us in (have email and voicemail proof) when they clearly couldnt and his response to that and i quote "this is what happens when people like you bring in fake quotes". This utterly shrewed and disrespectful employee is a disgrace working at Mcgrath. It felt no less than being at a crappy dealership where customers and respect dont matter but whatever it takes to sell does, and if you cant close the sale, treat the customer like crap. Extremely disappointed. I own an acrua from mcgrath acura westmont and never have i ever been treated with such rudeness and disrespect, that always made me believe the name mcgrath honda and acura distinguish themselves from other dealers due to their sincerity and courtesy towards their customers,but Shiraaz definitely made me rethink the trust i had in this dealership and its counterparts. I would pay a higher price anywhere else than purchase or step foot in that dealership

From the time we walked onto the lot until we signed on the line buying my new 2017 CRV, the entire experience was stress free and pleasant! We were casually approached by our salesman Chris Wilkins, whom fostered a no-pressure attitude and was very familiar with the Honda models. I had a certain color/trim in my mind, and chris effortlessly found it and had it transferred to Brian Bemis in 2 days. We came with aggressive prices we found through the internet and the dealership agreed to our offer, no haggling, no stress. Truthfully, it all was underwhelming... nothing like any other car buying experience I have ever had! If you are in the market for a new car- go ask for Chris at Brian Bemis!
Also- I love my new CRV!! It's equipped with so many upgrades and safety features!!

I purchased a new Accord in May 2016. The sales experience was fine with little problem. On December 27, I brought my car in for it' first service. I received a service date and time confirmation by email. The confirmation listed the recommended service including an oil change, tire rotation and fluid check with an estimated cost of $29.95. When I arrived, I was informed that the service would cost $79.95 and that the tire rotation alone cost $39.95. I questioned the quoted "estimated" cost stated in my service confirmation. The sales manager kept asking me for a coupon. I did not have a coupon but I did have the confirmation. After much wrangling, the manager honored the "estimated" cost from my email. I was told that the service would take around 90 minutes. I provided my cell number and asked that I be called when the service was completed. I never received a call and returned some time later to get my car. While driving home, the tire pressure sensors turned on indicating possible low tire pressure. I turned around to return to Planet Honda. On the way, I pulled over and checked the sensor settings and found that the settings were never recalibrate after the tire rotation. Luckily, I knew how to reset the calibration settings.
To make a long story short, I would not advise any Honda owner to use the service department at Planet Honda. They utilize deceitful pricing tactics and are negligent in completing work in a satisfactory manner.

I went there to take the oil consumption test!! After 1.30h I asked for my car and they told me I am not able to pass the test because I have leaks...(my engine is dry) but I MUST PAY 40$ for oil change! They don't inform me for leaks or anything before change the oils! At Honda receipt says
1.Check for visual licks
2.Proceed to consumption test (change the oils)
They wouldn't give to me my keys if I didn't pay and when I asked them why he didnt check for leaks first and the answer to me was THATS THE WAY WE WORK!!! Very rude staff.
Now I don't know what I am supposed to do with a car whose model has an issue with sticky piston rings

I would never like to deal with dealership ever again. This is a highly unprofessional organization which does not care for it's customers, has no respect for it's own commitments and will look to penny pinch to see how they can sneak a few dollars here and there. Not to mention that there is no connect between their internet team, sales & finance - everyone sings a different tune
Problem #1: I come into the dealership, ask for Eveliss (the person I was told by the internet rep I hv to meet); Alex (someone else) was @ the reception; he paged her, she did not respond and then Alex worked with me - I was treated like a walk in customer
Problem #2: The notes Alex pulled up had summarized all info with a massive change about the model - Accord LX instead of Accord EX-L and that started the discussion on price all over. Numbers went from $290/ month for 36 months to $290/ month for 35 months & 1st pymt @ $1,280, then $317/ month for 36 months, then $293/ month, then the papers came in on Alex's desk @ $295/ month, my wife refused, he changed it to $294/ month by hand and by the time I went to finance, it was $295 for 1st pymt & 35 pymts of $296. So all in all it costed me enormous aggravation, time waste and an extra cost of $213.95 over the life of the lease
Problem #3: Sales wanted my credit score to be over 700, it turned out lower, so we ended up pulling my wife's credit, that was much higher and therefore multiple papers were signed by my wife & myself. By the time we went to finance I was told all they needed was 660, I was over that and they did not need my wife's info on the lease - another waste of time and energy
I got in around 5:15pm and got out only after 8:30pm, over 3 hrs for a pre-negotiated deal. Alex kept a smiling face, but either he did not have the right information OR it is just part of McGrath sales process to try and get the last extra penny you can get from a customer, neither of which makes me feel good about the dealership
Problem #4: Client Relationship Manager reaches out to me a day after the sale, with a tall claim like "If we are not exceeding your expectations, we simply are not doing our jobs", hears my story with all evidence via email but cannot provide any resolution and takes 5 days to defer the matter to the General Sales Manager
Problem #5: After several days (due to difficulty in time coordination, travel, etc.) the General Sales Manager connects with me, does not hv a full understanding of my case history, defends his dealership charging more due to accessories that were provided on the car, which I did not want - an excuse that was tried by his sales person Alex as well and I had asked Alex to go ahead and get rid of those, because I never asked for them
All in all this dealership is not trustworthy and cares more about a few hundred dollars over their word & reputation. If you want a good purchase experience and honest people to work with, STAY AWAY from McGrath City Honda
