I purchased a new Accord in May 2016. The sales experience was fine with little problem. On December 27, I brought my car in for it' first service. I received a service date and time confirmation by email. The confirmation listed the recommended service including an oil change, tire rotation and fluid check with an estimated cost of $29.95. When I arrived, I was informed that the service would cost $79.95 and that the tire rotation alone cost $39.95. I questioned the quoted "estimated" cost stated in my service confirmation. The sales manager kept asking me for a coupon. I did not have a coupon but I did have the confirmation. After much wrangling, the manager honored the "estimated" cost from my email. I was told that the service would take around 90 minutes. I provided my cell number and asked that I be called when the service was completed. I never received a call and returned some time later to get my car. While driving home, the tire pressure sensors turned on indicating possible low tire pressure. I turned around to return to Planet Honda. On the way, I pulled over and checked the sensor settings and found that the settings were never recalibrate after the tire rotation. Luckily, I knew how to reset the calibration settings.
To make a long story short, I would not advise any Honda owner to use the service department at Planet Honda. They utilize deceitful pricing tactics and are negligent in completing work in a satisfactory manner.

I went there to take the oil consumption test!! After 1.30h I asked for my car and they told me I am not able to pass the test because I have leaks...(my engine is dry) but I MUST PAY 40$ for oil change! They don't inform me for leaks or anything before change the oils! At Honda receipt says
1.Check for visual licks
2.Proceed to consumption test (change the oils)
They wouldn't give to me my keys if I didn't pay and when I asked them why he didnt check for leaks first and the answer to me was THATS THE WAY WE WORK!!! Very rude staff.
Now I don't know what I am supposed to do with a car whose model has an issue with sticky piston rings

I spent over an hour working on a deal. I shook hands with sales manager and salesman at closing time telling them I would be in the next day. I was going to finalize deal and called the next morning. It was then told out they had sold car to someone else. Glad I called...very disappointed I did not get to purchase vehicle.

Go read some of the yelp reviews. I left a lengthy one on there. Beware of this dealer.
I came in for a Honda Fit certified and when I got there they told me the car was magically sold within an hour of me driving there.
Then they showed me other more expensive models. And when we got back into the office they tried charging me 1500 for the certification. The car is listed as a Honda certified vehicle on their website and on cars.com , and they want me to pay an extra 1500? Big scam.
Note: I did not work with jerry. The salesmen I worked with are not listed in the list to choose from.

I will never ever deal with Grossinger Honda again!
They are using a fraudulent scheme to trap a human being and try to sell a car.
So, I have my Honda Accord 2014 and I do regular service for my car at Grossinger.
Few day ago I received an email from them with the following content:
“I need to take in 3 2014 Honda Accords to expand my inventory and would like to buy yours.
As the General Manager, I can offer you more than book value! Please call me A.S.A.P. Thanks.
I made an appointment to show my car and on the next day I came to the dealership.
I didn’t meet Brian, but they assigned to me a sales person. He took a look on my car and asked “On how much you can go up with a new Honda?”.
I was thinking that they are going to buy my car and I didn’t plan to switch to another Honda.
So, I said that I can consider another Honda ONLY if my monthly payment will be lower and if they will pay off my car 100%, which is almost 16k (it’s financed through the bank). I said, that if they can not offer me a lower price - they can just buy my Accord if they are truly interested.
He got my SSN to see what I owe to the bank for this car. It took almost an hour. The sales person came back to me and impertinently kept trying to sell a car to me. All this time I was extremely patient and nice to him. Then I got tired and asked to stop wasting my time if their email was a scam.
Than the manager came and went by the same scenario.
I feel deceived and offended. They stole 1,5 hour of my time. I can’t believe that big company like this using such ugly swindling tricks.
PS: A month ago we bought a Mercedes for my husband and their service is just excellent. We didn’t experienced any dirty sales tactics.
