I had a great experience in working with Chuck Ippolito. Chuck was extremely affable. His follow up was great. He reconfirmed the appointment with me that morning. He had the car and paperwork ready to roll when I arrived. He paid attention to detail. For example, there was a tiny strip of label (?) left on the hood of the car; Chuck noticed, (I didn't) and peeled it off. He took me through the owner's manual, showed me around the exterior, and sat with me in the interior. He explained all the features of the vehicle. It was really great. He's a very cool, sincere guy.

I have gone through the whole "car buying" process in the past. However this dealership by far surpasses all my expectations. From the sales rep to the finance manager, they worked their tails off to help me get the car I wanted. They also offered alternative options when it seemed the car I wanted was too out of reach but somehow they found a way to make it right and get me the deal to make sure I get my car. I went into southlake Nissan, pretty sure that I would be turned away, or given ridiculously high numbers. Will was actually on his way home, but took the time to help me. He never deterred me or tried to steer me into what would work best for him, but he tried his best to get me what I wanted. Just purchased a 2017 Rogue SL and I am very excited to have had no doubt the best car buying experiencing thus far. I've bought cars in the past and I always felt like bait in a shark tank. Not a fun feeling and at the least could be described as stressful. This time around was much more relaxing and enjoyable if you can call spending $$$$ enjoyable.
Special thanks to Dan Conro and Alexander True, some very good and straight shooting guys. I did a lot of homework and preparation before making my final decision and these guys understood. I started online working with Dan and he understood my needs and was extremely helpful with every question and request I had which made making my decision all that much easier. Afterwards, working with Alexander continue to make the purchase process seamlessly and enjoyable. Alexander took us on a test drive, explained everything, handled all of the paper work and really added onto that feeling we had of enjoyment.
Although we where offered extras, no one was pushy and simply explained the product, and if we declined, we simply moved on to the next step. Bill Kay Nissan and Tim A. are legit and I'll keep coming back until they aren't. I've leased 3 Nissans from Bill Kay and this is the best deal and experience I've ever had. One Sunny day in February, I decided to check out a car at Bob Rohrman's Nissan that I saw on truecar.com, I called ahead for a sales rep to locate the vehicle for a test drive.
Mike Fields was incredibly efficient and had the car pulled up by the time we arrived. I clearly explained that I did not want to buy a car that day, with the year and the mileage on the 2015 Nissan Murano SL I just wanted to be reassured there was no dead body found in the car. All joking aside, as much as I wanted to buy that sweet ride that day, and as much as Mike and his manager wanted to seal the deal, I needed to check out other dealers affiliated with the Costco Auto Program since they recently started selling used vehicles, as opposed to them just selling the new models.
Regardless of the Arlington nissan not being with that Costco program, they had the car I wanted. There was no way in heck I was going to drive out to the St. Charles Nissan to go through the auto program. Every other brand was pale in comparison. And, they practically held a gun to my head to purchase that day regardless of how many times I said that I didn't plan to buy it on the day of the test drive. I've always been partial to Nissan's because of the safety features of my Frontier Crew Cab 10 years ago saved my life.
The day of the sale and forgive me if I got your name wrong, Tina a fellow sales woman/trainer/team leader of the sales team, assisted Mike showing him a more effective way of working with whatever program is used to fill in all the details. I am really sorry lady who helped that I can't remember if I'm right, because the lady that answers the telephone is very pleasant as well...whomever, you sit in front of Mike, it's been a week of driving in happiness. Thanks for your help! I'm glad to be part of the training experience.
Now, with as much as a struggle people go through with the dragged out process of financing, RJ made it seemingly painless. He clearly explained the difference between the warranties offered and calculated the best amount to put down to get a reasonable monthly payment for the next 6 years of my life.
Matt in the service department is officially my go to guy for any problems from here on out. He programmed my navigation system and sadly it did die, everyone is dumbfounded by this, but he ordered a brand new one and said he's going to let me know when it comes in so i can use their courtesy car offered for as long as the repair will take. Take as long as you need to because I want it done right and I have all the faith in the world that Matt will follow through with that request.
Thank you Bob Rohrman's Nissan of Arlington Heights for being just around the corner, with the best options and staff that works together for the best service around. I wouldn't have been so exhausted from car shopping if I just went with my gut and bought it the first day. It was hard to walk away, but felt if it was still there 4 days later, it was meant to be.

I was in the area in need of an oil change the other day and saw on the Ziegler website that they had a oil change special deal offer for $19.95, so I decided to stop in. This was my first visit to this dealership since they first opened in Gurnee a couple years ago. I drove my car in to the service bay, and came inside to the service desk and was greeted by David Anderson. He seemed flustered/annoyed with something, shuffling papers, but regardless, he greeted me after a little while and I told him I came for the oil change special online and asked if he could check to see if there was anything mentioned at the previous service that could be taken care of at today's visit. His first response was, "I don't even know whose car that is." At first, I thought he was just joking, which was fine so I didn't think too much of it. He looks up my Vin # and tells me to have a seat in the waiting area behind him, and that it would be an hour or so. So over an hour and a half goes by and I go up to him to get a status update. He says to me that its been done for a while and that he tried to find me but didn't see me. I was sitting in the waiting area behind him on the showroom floor (in his line of sight if he were to turn around from the service desk) and I didn't see him come out look for anyone while I sat in my chair. From the time I sat down, I got up once in the beginning to get a bottle of water so I don't understand how he could have missed me. And if he really couldn't find me, he had my number on file to try and at least call me. So he lies to me, plays dumb, and carries on as if he didn't do anything wrong, and then just turns around walks to the cashier without communicating anything like I'm suppose to read his mind and follow him in a brand new facility I've never been in and tells me it's going to be $40 and change. I give him a confused look and questioned him about the online special for $19.95. He realizes the mistake and mumbles a few things as he turns around to go fix the paperwork. I'm not sure if he was just having a bad day, but I've got to say, having been in the sales/service industry and a business owner for nearly a decade, the service desk at Ziegler could use a lesson or two on customer service 101. Is it really too much to just greet a customer with a smile? Or too much to may be listen more, and be more courteous, instead of mumbling words of displeasure 2 feet from a customer when the customer didn't do anything wrong. In the sales/service industry, there are 2 things that everyone knows: 1) the customer's usually always right and 2) greet a customer within 30 seconds. I've been to many other car dealerships across the Chicagoland area for service and this is probably the worst service experience I've ever had. They really need to go visit other dealerships to understand what the others are doing correctly if they want to improve customer retention/feedback scores. I will not be returning here for service anytime soon. *Search on Yelp for more Service related reviews since a majority of Ziegler's reviews on here are on their Sales Dept.*
Worst car buying experience ever! - bethnoelle84
I was really hoping that I could write a positive review about my experience with Western Avenue Nissan; but that is not the case. My husband and I drove 2 hours to come look at a used 04 Cadillac SRX, 120k miles, seemingly in great condition. We called and asked about the condition of the car, how it ran before we made the trip and the saleslady I spoke with assured us all of their used cars have been through a thorough inspection and run "like new". She said the car may need regular maintenance like any older used car, but that the car drove great and was ready to go. We arrive and the place was packed but our salesman, Ryan Scott, was expecting us and was very polite. We got in the car for the test drive and noticed the engine had a shake at idle. Ryan assured us that all the cars have had thorough engine and transmission inspection and that they WOULD NOT sell a car with any major problems. My husband knows a little about cars and knows that a needed tune up or dirty air filter might cause this, so after debating we decided to trust that they wouldn't sell us a lemon, especially considering they wouldn't give us much leeway with the price of the car and we stretched our budget to get it. Long story shorter...the check engine light came on as I pulled into my town and was flashing before I got to the driveway. We called Western Avenue Nissan and my husband spoke with a nice manager that told us to take it into a mechanic and they would see what they could do to help us. Turns out, the computer that controls the engine is bad, and it is going to cost us over $1500 to fix this car. Of course, we have tried to contact someone at Nissan multiple times, our mechanic has tried to contact Nissan multiple times and no one returns our call, or we wait on hold for 30 min. then we're transferred to a voice mail box that is full. Our mechanic stated that any mechanic, let alone a certified mechanic, that "thoroughly" inspected this engine would have been able to tell quickly this was not a minor issue. At the worst, the engine could have seized up with my 5 year old daughter in the car and we could have lost all power-no brakes, no steering; at the least we could have done major damage to the engine itself if we continued to drive it. He states that the fact that the engine light came on after the car was already showing issues shows that the controls may have been tampered with which is highly illegal and is FRAUD. I was really hoping Nissan would just contact us and at least attempt to rectify the situation, and that this would turn into a great review, but we have been calling them since Monday and it is obvious they are avoiding us at this point. Unfortunately, this has turned into a horrible experience and I would highly recommend that if you are looking to buy a vehicle, especially a used vehicle, that you shop somewhere else (and read the reviews about the dealership before you buy a car).

We had a good experience with Keith, no pressure to sell us a car which we really appreciated. Traded in our Maxima we bought new in 2005 on a new Murano. It was time to get out of the sports car and into something more comfortable. We are very happy with the Murano and will recommend Napleton to anyone in the market for a Nissan.

I purchased a car here from out of town. I drove in from WI and thought I found a great car. I came to the dealership with a check to purchase this car and after taking it for a text drive and two people telling me it's a great car at the dealership I bought it. After paying for it, they kindly washed it bc it had salt all over from the snow ,I noticed there were scratches all I've the rear passenger side bumper. Scott Burgess (GM) and Mike (sales guy) told me that they would take care of it later. I spoke with Scott and set up a later date of Feb 9th. Mind you I am driving in from WI. Feb 8th at 9pm Scott tells me that's it's a bad idea to drive in and that they will not fix my car. This is horrible service and I will never purchase a car from this deceiving dealership again. I have requested off work to make this drive to have my car that they promised they would fix taken care of. Never shop here, my fault for not getting it in writing.
