Stellar Out-Of-Town Experience - Woodland Family
I initially located my vehicle on Cars.com via a posting from Martin Nissan. My search was very specific and the post details from the dealership allowed me to easily verify the vehicle had the features I was looking for. I was almost immediately put in touch with Chris Palmer, who was quick to reach out and provide timely responses via phone and text.
Texting (while it may seem unprofessional at first), was one of the the most beneficial parts of this sale (seeing as I am at on calls and unavailable to speak most of the day). Chris was able to send detailed photos, check on features, verify pricing, etc; all while I was taking care of business.
Once the deal was made, Chris personally drove to the airport to pick-up my son and I (carseat in tow), purchase lunch and arrange for a test drive at the dealership. He worked tirelessly to insure we had everything we needed along the way. He even followed-up the day after we returned home and to my subsequent questions about new tires that had been installed, security features, etc.
My one and only bit of constructive criticism would be to do less badging of Plates/Stickers on vehicles that are for sale. Lots of Goo Gone required to lift the sticker off the back window. Otherwise, I give Martin 5 stars on the overall experience. Thanks, Lady and Gents!

After researching cars for weeks, I ended up at Al Piemonte Nissan. I walked in and Fernando was kind enough to notice I needed help. He showed me the original car I came to view. He was very frank and upfront with me on my concerns and questions. After not liking the color of the car I came to view, he was open to showing me more cars in different colors.
Without belittling me (as other dealers did), he was patient and extremely helpful. (If more people were as kind, helpful, and clear as him, I wonder how many more cars would sell?)
Long story short, the process from start to finish was clear, easy and VERY enjoyable. I'm thankful for Fernando's help and patience. He deserves a raise! Or better yet, a position where he can duplicate himself!

He also made our overall car buying experience very relaxed and not stressful at all. We have had great service from Don Mekoola at the Autobarn in Evanston. He always listens & makes sure he takes care of the car problem. We haven't had many but the few times we've heard a noise, Don has made sure to get it taken care of!! Bought a new Nissan Murano Platinium tech. Pkg from another dealer west of Glendale. A short time after, I heard a huge wind noise & when I drove it through a car wash water would pour in through the back of the sunroof into the catch tray where it meets the panoramic roof. Brought it back in to the dealer & they diagnosed it to be the right rear door gaskets?? I did not want to waste Nissans money & my time so I brought my vehicle to GLendale service dept. I talked to John Petrie ser. Mgr. , he listened, cared & let me take him for a test ride. He then put me in a loaner car & said he needs time to diagnose the vehicle. In the end he personally diagnosed the issue with several test rides masking off the roof to pinpoint the noise & leak, found a defect in the pano roof replaced it under warranty & now it is perfect. John in my opinion is a true professional, no nonsense, get it done type of person & I thank him very much for all the time & effort he put in to correcting the issue. Also hats off to Jim Hutcheson ser. Director to his winning Service Team , where they all work together to get 1st class results. Absolutely outstanding!!!!!

Please do not take your vehicle here for service, we are a Nissan Family and they can never diagnosis the car , they have to call corporate or another dealer then charge for the consultation as labor. They even told me I needed and engine when it took them 7 months to diagnose a loose ground wire, have been driving the car a year and a half since. They are rude and any never are able to figure out whats wrong with the car one of our cars sat a week before they even looked at it . Horrible customer service.

Pretty much a bad experience since i walked in the door. Tried to up the price on the vehicle from what it stated online. When it was brought to their attention, they claimed it was due to the bank. Now 30 days after taking ownership of the vehicle, i have to invest more than $1000 worth of work into it and the only thing theyre willing to do, is not mark up for parts and labor....

I was really hoping that I could write a positive review about my experience with Western Avenue Nissan; but that is not the case. My husband and I drove 2 hours to come look at a used 04 Cadillac SRX, 120k miles, seemingly in great condition. We called and asked about the condition of the car, how it ran before we made the trip and the saleslady I spoke with assured us all of their used cars have been through a thorough inspection and run "like new". She said the car may need regular maintenance like any older used car, but that the car drove great and was ready to go. We arrive and the place was packed but our salesman, Ryan Scott, was expecting us and was very polite. We got in the car for the test drive and noticed the engine had a shake at idle. Ryan assured us that all the cars have had thorough engine and transmission inspection and that they WOULD NOT sell a car with any major problems. My husband knows a little about cars and knows that a needed tune up or dirty air filter might cause this, so after debating we decided to trust that they wouldn't sell us a lemon, especially considering they wouldn't give us much leeway with the price of the car and we stretched our budget to get it. Long story shorter...the check engine light came on as I pulled into my town and was flashing before I got to the driveway. We called Western Avenue Nissan and my husband spoke with a nice manager that told us to take it into a mechanic and they would see what they could do to help us. Turns out, the computer that controls the engine is bad, and it is going to cost us over $1500 to fix this car. Of course, we have tried to contact someone at Nissan multiple times, our mechanic has tried to contact Nissan multiple times and no one returns our call, or we wait on hold for 30 min. then we're transferred to a voice mail box that is full. Our mechanic stated that any mechanic, let alone a certified mechanic, that "thoroughly" inspected this engine would have been able to tell quickly this was not a minor issue. At the worst, the engine could have seized up with my 5 year old daughter in the car and we could have lost all power-no brakes, no steering; at the least we could have done major damage to the engine itself if we continued to drive it. He states that the fact that the engine light came on after the car was already showing issues shows that the controls may have been tampered with which is highly illegal and is FRAUD. I was really hoping Nissan would just contact us and at least attempt to rectify the situation, and that this would turn into a great review, but we have been calling them since Monday and it is obvious they are avoiding us at this point. Unfortunately, this has turned into a horrible experience and I would highly recommend that if you are looking to buy a vehicle, especially a used vehicle, that you shop somewhere else (and read the reviews about the dealership before you buy a car).

I purchased a car here from out of town. I drove in from WI and thought I found a great car. I came to the dealership with a check to purchase this car and after taking it for a text drive and two people telling me it's a great car at the dealership I bought it. After paying for it, they kindly washed it bc it had salt all over from the snow ,I noticed there were scratches all I've the rear passenger side bumper. Scott Burgess (GM) and Mike (sales guy) told me that they would take care of it later. I spoke with Scott and set up a later date of Feb 9th. Mind you I am driving in from WI. Feb 8th at 9pm Scott tells me that's it's a bad idea to drive in and that they will not fix my car. This is horrible service and I will never purchase a car from this deceiving dealership again. I have requested off work to make this drive to have my car that they promised they would fix taken care of. Never shop here, my fault for not getting it in writing.
