Absolute best purchase experience - IRG
My wife and I have purchased numerous vehices in our lifetime, and this by far was the best experience. Very pleasant on the phone, was honest about price, and when you got to the dealership they kept their word on the price. There is no deception at this dealership. Tyler Preston was a great sales rep and the finance guy was really nice also. They were not pushy at all. They offered something, but if you did not want it...that was the end of the discussion. I had been looking for the new 2017 Armada Platinum, so it on their website, called, negotiated the walk out the door price. Went down their to test drive, and walked out the door in a little over an hour after I arrived. They were so good I will be having my sister come from over 500 miles to buy a vehicle from them. Kudos for running an honest dealership with friendly people.
Great car for a great deal - RitaM
We had Andrew "Drewskie" Martinez helping us today and he did a really great job in finding us what we want. I was shopping with my son for a good car with a low price range without my husband's help. I wanted to be really cautious with everything and Andrew helped us a lot with finding what we wanted. He showed a lot of patience with us and helped get us what was best for us. The sales manager was an awesome help too. Their combined help really showed Trophy Nissan's team work ability and care for their customer! Thank you Trophy Nissan.
Disappointed Customer - Lwill 1972
I went to Nissan of McKinney to trade in my truck with the attention of flipping out my truck for a Nissan Pathfinder with no downpayment. Of course with challenge credit that was impossible plus I was going to have some negative equity left from my truck. But the Pathfinder had lots of rebates to override my negative equity. Cool I knew that. Nissan came back with great news. I was approved for a 2017 Pathfinder. But I had to give them $2000 downpayment. I told them I didn't have the money right then but I can come up with $1200 next week if u work with me with the $800. They said fine. Then I was asked can u right a post dated checks. I told them I don't do checks and I don't have checks. They said OK can u get a temporary check with your route number and account number. I said yes I can do that. So I went to my bank and got it drove back to the dealership and the owner said no we need a check with your name on it. I said my bank don't do that but the other information u needed is on the check. As I waited I signed papers and everything they came back and said we have a problem we ran your check and it didn't go through. I said why would u run my information on that check. They said well can u get an overhead letter stating that this is your bank account. I said yes I can do that. So I went back to the bank and got the letter and even got bank statements. Went back to the dealership and the owner said no we can't accept that. So I said okay. Then I received a call from one the sales reps and he told me man just come in next week with the downpayment and we work with the rest of the stuff. Guess what I back out of the deal because they put me through too much run around for a new ride. You don't do your customers like that. You take care of them. I was so disappointed that I just said forget it it's not meant for me to get that ride in the first place. So I kept my money and put it elsewhere important. Too bad for the sales rep because he got screw over his commission because of an owner that is greedy for money and want the money right then and there after I told him and gave him my word and even sign a promising note that I will bring the downpayment in the date I was going to bring it in. Thanks owner. Job well done. You done screw over that man's bonus.

Avoid them - Pj
First these complaints could have been avoided had i been more detailed... 1. Was suppose to be tax tag and title out the door. Upon reflection of paperwork they snuck in over a thousand in taxes that i missed. 2. They didn't disclose dash damage that was very hard to see and research says its $1800 dollars worth of damage. I'm currently checking the laws regarding this type of blatant and misleading non disclosure. AVOID

Overpriced on Service - Ranelee
We have been doing business with this dealership for many many years. My wife and I have purchased two cars from them and they handle our routine maintenance until a few months ago. I understand that they do a detailed inspection on your vehicle when you bring it in for an oil change, however we did not expect them to say we needed more work on our vehicle than what was indeed needed to be done. The rep called us to state that our battery was testing low and needed to be replaced. I asked about the details of what was needed to be done and he stated that they could install a new battery and Nissan guarantees the battery for the first two years for full warranty, then the other 5 years on a prorated warranty. I asked him since the car was a 2014 model and we had hardly had the car over 3 years with 18k miles on it, shouldn't that battery be under some type of prorated warranty since Nissan batteries have a warranty of 7 years? He said not factory installed batteries, the warranty is only good for 3 years. Knowing that they were overcharging for the battery, I wanted to bring the car to a local Auto Zone to have them replace it because it was $60 cheaper! We had two different places test the battery and it tested just fine! We would have been out $160 if we just said "ok" go ahead and replace the battery! We did have them replace the wiper blades for $40, in which at Auto Zone they will replace them for you for $12 for first blade and $5.99 for second! And they are really good blades. The thing that made me change and have my vehicles worked on by local shops around me was that I needed a tire pressure sensor replaced in my car. I was quoted $198 per sensor to have them replaced. Cowser Tire off i20 replaced them for $60 a tire. Please, if you are watching cost have other places (non dealerships) to give you a quote or things needing to be fixed or even have them check to see if it needed to be fixed in the first place. The customer service from the service guys are the best don't get me wrong, however this place is a money machine!!! Just be careful!

Service Good, Customer Service Awful - V S Anders
I just moved to the area, so I went in to have my oil changed and my brakes checked (the vehicle is still under warranty). The service guy I worked with was very helpful and even gave me a small discount, as a first time customer. I drove away thinking, this will be a handy location to get my oil changes done, since it's so close to my house.
Two weeks later, I started getting phone calls about selling my Nissan to their used car lot. I called back immediately, explained that is was a lease, and that I was not going to sell it to them and to please take me off their list. FIVE PHONE CALLS LATER, and repeated requests to stop calling, I finally called the dealership, asked to speak to a manager and reminded them that I had, on at least 3 occasions on a RECORDED line asked to be removed from their phone list, and had not; a direct violation of FCC rules. I finally had to ask for them to remove my phone number from their contact list. The manager assured me I wouldn't be contacted again, and I have not. However, I don't want to go back because I don't want to start that cycle again, and how are they going to let me know when my car is done if I can't give them my phone number? What does it mean when you can't trust a business to treat your contact information with respect?
It means you don't go back.

Horrible experience/deceptive - Westtexasgal
Always ask for a cash receipt before handing anything cash over to finance managers. I thought I purchased a 2016 Nissan Rouge on October 1, 2016 and it turns out the finance manager pocketed my $3000 cash down payment and never turned in my application for credit. I pretty much drove a car off the lot for 2 months. No one made me aware of the situation till the middle of December when my first supposed car payment was approaching 12/30. Its not ok that I had to call the General Manager Mark Mefford to ask for clarification. He was completely insensitive and said "it happens". In a nutshell they didn't want to give me my money back unless I had a cash receipt. Yes, things were eventually resolved only because I had to contact the OCCC and opened up a case with Nissan Consumer Affairs. It is unfortunate that I placed my complete trust in a company with a good reputation to only be treated like I was the enemy for a thief they hired.
Tried to take advantage of a single woman! - megjamros
Do NOT have your car serviced by their service department. They tried to take advantage of me as a single woman!!! They are crooks and liars! They told me i needed a new transmission due to wrong fluid being in it. HOWEVER after having a different Nissan service dept. look at it they confirmed that it has the correct fluid in it and i DID NOT need a new $4000 transmission. Full story below......
I brought my 2013 Nissan Rogue into their service dept. on 3 different occasions because my car acted hesitant to accelerate at times. The first 2 times they kept is for a couple days and ended up telling me that they were unable to get problem to happen and if it continues to do it then to bring it back in. After being frustrated with this issue I brought it to Auto-nation Nissan in Lewisville (who provides exceptional customer service just ask for Mike) and they kept it for a couple days said they noticed the issue but they were unable to get it to throw any codes for computer to pick up to diagnose. 2 weeks later it seemed to be doing it more often so I brought it back to Mac Haik and after them having it for 5 days they call me to tell me that they located the problem and that they found that the transmission fluid in my transmission is the wrong type and since it has been in there for a while it has "salted up my transmission" (service rep Lucas reported this to me). I said well I don't know how that is possible because I have never had my transmission fluid serviced but its a good thing that my car is still under warranty at 55k miles. He stated that my warranty is now voided because this was owner error!!! I then pulled every single service ticket I have ever had done on my car (ALL were at certified Nissan service centers) and nothing ever mentioned about my transmission fluid being touched.
I called them back and let them know that its not possible for it to be the wrong fluid unless this is something that was done on the assembly line when it was manufactured. Lucas stated thats not possible becuase it wouldn't have made it to 55k. He stated that the transmission fluid that is inside of my vehicle is RED and the color that it should be is a light BLUE. He told me it would be $4,000 to replace my transmission since he voided my warranty. I told him I would be into pick up my vehicle to take it to have a second opinion.
I picked it up on a Tuesday, dropped it off with Automation Nissan Lewisville the next day and asked them to please look at my transmission and verify fluid type and also try to diagnose the issue again. Mike called me back that same day and told me that the transmission fluid that is in my car is in fact the correct type and that it IS LIGHT BLUE. He said there isn't even a hue of red in it. Gave me a sample for evidence. They serviced my vehicle and reprogramed the idle in it which has since fixed the issue.
I went back to Mac Haik to confront them about the issue they supposedly found and when I walked in Lucas was at his desk I asked him to please tell me again what the issue was and he stated "Ma'am, you have the wrong transmission fluid in your vehicle, the fluid that is in it now is BLUE and it needs to be RED, i have told you before I am not sure how it got there but if you want your vehicle to run properly then you need to have the transmission replaced". I asked if he could bring his service manager in there with us. He called him in there and I asked him to please repeat the problem to me and he stated "you have the wrong transmission fluid in there it should be BLUE not RED, i saw it for myself when they took a sample out". I said well Lucas just told me the exact opposite that you did so which one is it. I then told them that I had is looked at in Lewisville and they verified that it had the CORRECT fluid in it. They both were speechless at first and then the service manager said "well I'm not sure how that got there". I asked multiple times to please have the General Manager call me, he called me once and told me that he would look into something and call me right back. but never got back with me. They lied to my face about an issue that my car NEVER even had. They tried to take advantage of me. NEVER will I purchase or have a vehicle serviced by them again. I hope this gets around. Thankfully i was smart enough to have a second opinion done and didn't just proceed with a 4000 dollar repair that wasn't necessary AT ALL!
I bought a used car - Ibuycars
Jonathan Coello was my sales person. He did a fantastic job and went above and beyond. I give him 5 stars and would definitely recommend him to anyone. He was clear and straight forward. No BS.
The guy that I had to speak to about warranties was the kind of person that before he opens his mouth you already want to punch just based on the way that he walks into a room. After he opened his mouth he was so pushy, arrogant, and rude that I wanted to climb across the desk with a sock full of quarters and let if fly. But i didn't. It was getting late and I had a long drive home. That would have added an extra 10 minutes to the drive.
I would shop here again.
Dishonestly representing inventory - JMB
We had the WORST experience with AutoNation Nissan. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Beware of inaccurately represented cars here. After countless hours, 6 visits to the dealership, and going through 4 different cars we finally and unhappily walked out with a vehicle. My fiancé and I were shopping for a 2016 Nissan Maxima and had found one at AutoNation Nissan Dallas. After getting a good quote that said the car had 15 miles on it, my fiancé went to purchase the car—I’ll call it Car #1. While waiting on finance, he test drove Car #1 and it turned out it had close to 4000 miles on it instead of the 15 miles on the quote. That’s clearly not a new car. The salesman promised to get another car for us from a different dealership in the color of our choice. There was a lot of back and forth, and the salesman got another 2016 Maxima in to the dealership (in the wrong color, but we decided to look at it anyways) and we went to test drive and hopefully buy this car—Car #2. Everything seemed good about Car #2, but the back seatbelt didn’t buckle. So they took it to maintenance to replace the back seat and when they pulled the seat out, they found a bunch of broken glass in the back and in the trunk. Car #2 had hail damage, presumably, that was undisclosed. They apologized and said they would get another car for us and that they would look it over thoroughly before we got it. We went back to the dealership to check out Car #3 which they had brought in from another AutoNation dealership. The salesman had apparently looked over it and the miles were accurate, there was no glass in the back seat, and things were supposed to be good. I took a quick look at this Car #3 and there was clear hail damage on the roof of the car, the hood of the car, and the trunk of the car—probably at least 5 noticeable dents and once I started looking harder, there were at least 15-20 dents all over Car #3 that were deemed to be irreparable. Again, undisclosed hail damage. Clearly the salesman either didn’t look over Car #3 or he was incompetent to tell if a car was in selling shape. This was our 5th visit to the dealership and we left without a car AGAIN. The salesman and sales manager were apologetic and said they would have another car for us and that they would make it right. We went back later that week, our 6th time to the dealership, to look at Car #4. We finally walked out with this car, after haggling more over the prices. I am extremely unhappy with the entire experience. I feel that the whole situation was completely dishonest as 3 out of 4 cars were inaccurately represented to us, and I hope that people read this review and take their business elsewhere so they don’t end up with cars that have hidden issues that AutoNation Nissan hasn’t disclosed. Our Salesman Charles Thrower and his Sales Manager Garrett Polanco were nice, but for them to try and sell us 3 flawed cars before finally getting one right is completely unacceptable.
Crooked & unscrupulous liars! - TxAkits
I was qouted, emailed & texted a price on a 2016 Nissan Titan xd pro-4x. That truck was sold before I made it to the dealership, which was fine! John Morris (salesman) found a blue one, same truck just a different color. I was texted by him, that will match the same price as the first one! I drove almost 2 hours one way, to me the truck was brand new, it had 300 miles on it, paint & numerous rock dings in the paint. He brings me the final price quote, it was $9000 higher than what he said. I told him to stick it!!!
Received a call from the GM, I also told him the same! Steer far & clear from these morons. I will also be filing a formal complaint with Nissan on their behaviors!!

Purchased a used Maxima in August of 2003. Noticed a vibration coming from the front wheels. Took it to Kevin and explained the noice and he said it was just the brakes. Got it fixed....few months later same thing again, this time it was the brake pads. Got that fixed and then continued this cycle for two years until finally the vibration got so bad that the entire car was shaking. Took it to Thornhill Nissan in Fort Worth because we were afraid to drive it all the way to Urban. Thornhill noticed as soon as the car was lifted up that the wheel on the front passenger side was about to fall off! Thornhill fixed it and no problem since. Of course this was identified after the warranty had expired. Urban Nissan Service is a bunch of money grubbing jerks and they don't care about their customers. Kevin just wants the commission for unnecessary work. DO NOT USE URBAN NISSAN FOR SERVICE...YOU WILL REGRET IT!
