Sean Wardrope is as honest as they come... - Dack0414
Just got a 2017 MDX from Sean at Courtesy Acura. Not only did Sean not attack us with phone and email calls from our internet request, but he actually ASKED if he could call us. Meanwhile the other 2 dealerships in our area had already peppered us with a half dozen calls and emails in about 30 minutes. Courtesy didn't have the exact car I wanted on the lot, but they went above and beyond and had it on the lot in less than 3 hours. I knew where they were getting it from, and MAYBE I could have saved a few hundred bucks going straight to them but it never even crossed my mind after all the effort Sean put into it. I would definitely refer Sean and the folks at Courtesy for your next purchase.
Communication is key! - rags55
This whole process took less than two weeks from start to finish. I just wanted to commend the entire staff of flatirons acura for dealing with me and my rowdy kids so patiently! Geof Barela was the finishing touch on all of this, as he guided us masterfully through the process and made sure that the vehicle (TLX) was completely ready for delivery! He even customized the settings to my wife and I's liking. We drove 50 miles to see him, even though we live in Centennial just 5 miles from Mile High Acura. (Which is also a great dealership). Put your trust in him, he will come through for you in the clutch. He truly is an expert!
Mile High Acura had the Volvo XC90 V8 that I wanted! - James Mackay
I am a retired engineer who checks his tire pressure twice a month. I drove Saabs for 23 years and Volvos for the past 15years. I am a client of Volvo Specialists for all my maintenance. I keep my cars for ten to fifteen years and have been in the market for a Volvo XC90, but was willing to wait to find the *RIGHT* one!
After taking several XC90s to Volvo Specialists to inspect - resulting in repair estimates of $3K to $6K - I was very pleasantly surprised to see what Jesse Billings of Mile High Acura had to show me: a 2009 XC90 that was particularly well-maintained, with the trailer hitch that I had budgeted ~$800 to install already in place!
This XC90 drove particularly well. Mile High Acura technicians had done a fair amount of work on the vehicle, including brake service, replacing the blower motor, tires, etc. I was willing to pay for a premium vehicle - with no defects, rust or error codes - and Jesse provided me with what I was looking for, within my budget.....and the trailer hitch as surprise bonus.
Test drives in candidate XC90s with the V8 motor from other dealers/brokers with bad shock absorbers, numerous error codes being displayed, failed CD player, significant rust, leaking transmission, missing remote controller for the navigation system, defective alarm, etc. had convinced me to keep looking for the one I would be happy with.
Volvo Specialist's inspection of the Mile High Acura XC90 V8 resulted in being told "BUY THIS VEHICLE!" so I bought it that day. I was delighted that the *ONLY* thing that Volvo Specialists could find wrong with this vehicle was a $15 plastic fitting on the windshield washers! (The windshield washers worked fine at the beginning of the test drive, but a plastic check valve failed during the trip to Volvo Specialists.)
Being told that the vehicle only needed a $15 part, convinced me that this vehicle was the well-maintained vehicle that I had been willing to wait for. Previous inspections of other candidate XC90 V8s by Volvo Specialists had resulted in "don't buy this unless you want to spend $6K on a new transmission next year" and "you have to see the rust underneath it - including what they painted over" assessments that resulted in "no sale."
Doing business with Jesse was a pleasure. The vehicle is a true value. I am happy. My wife is happy.
