Service manager is a jerk who should not be tollerated by Acura corporate. I can only hope that the owners do not share in his attitude. I found out that my 2013 TL was on the recall list due to the defective Takata dirver's side air bag. I called the service desk at Acura of Las Vegas and asked one of the folks who work in that section when i could bring my car in and pick up a loaner until the problem was fixed. He said that he would check into it and call me back the next day. When I didn't hear from him, I called and asked for the service manager. When the service manager and I spoke he said that the problem wasn't his, that it was between corporate and me and that if I wanted a loaner, he only had one so I would have to rent a car, pay for it myself and then get monthly reimbursements. I pointed out that he was Acura's representative and that it was his responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with corporate on my behalf and that corporate would reimburse him for all costs that his dealership incurred. He mocked my concern and again said that the problem was not his, it was between corporate and me. At lease I obtained the corporate customer service number from him. i spoke to corporate, they called him and got the same response so they connected me to Findlay Acura who solved my problem immediately. The very next day I was in a loaner from them and my only expense will be for gas, as it should be. I was in managent all of my life and have fired over 35 people. It this idiot worked for me, he would have been fired five minutes before he was hired!! From now on all of my business will be with Findlay Acura.
