The dealership is a bit small but the did have a large variety of vehicles to choose from and the staff was super sweet. I don't have to say a lot. I won't make this longer, this dealership is very friendly and helpful I been to a lot of dealerships they tell you so much bs it's not even funny. This people, so called customers that left bad reviews just made me laugh. Leaving this dealership 1 star because they were told oil change would be 2 or 3 hours before they leave their car. We're talking before leaving the car it's not like after you leave the car or after waiting 3 hours that you were never told that it's 3 hrs. It's funny how people so quick to leave a bad review because you were told 3 hrs prior to you leaving your vehicle.... this so called customers are pathetic fools.

STEALERSHIP Scammers - SenorVegas
My mom took her car in on 8/7/2017 for a standard oil change to this location in Downey. Prior to this visit my mom had a not so pleasant visit but she decided to give this dealership another chance. Her service advisor was Carlos Quinones he was pretty rude to my mother. He told her that her car needed other services done. My mother asked what exactly needed to be done so she can write it down Carlos told her I’m going to put a star next to the items that need to be done. He then told her that he can take care of it right now without going into detail. My mom was confused with what needed to be done due to Carlos explanation (which was no explanation) and told Carlos that she was going to consult with me before doing any decisions. Carlos then told my mom Now Who’s Car Is It?! Is It your son or your car?!!! My mom told him it’s my car but my son is the one I need to consult with.
My mom notice that the car is leaking oil and called the dealership today 8/15/17 spoke to A service advisor and told my mom that she declined to get the work done required. My mom tried to explain to the advisor that the car was never leaking oil and after she took it for maintenance it’s started to leak. The advisor did not want to listen to her concerns and was not empathetic to her situation.
After reviewing her receipt it indicates that her engine oil cooler needs to be replaced. Usually the only time you need to replace it is when it’s cracked Which is never the case. So what likely happened was when they did the oil change the bolt came loose. The oil cooler came off. The gasket fell off. They reinstalled without the gasket. It leaked. They tried to take advantage of my mom is it because she’s FEMALE and Carlos Quinones thinks that She’s going to say yes charge me $800 to do something that you didn’t explained and haven’t showed her proof that it’s cracked and you try to BELITTLE MY MOM BY SAYING WHOS CAR IS THIS IS THIS YOUR CAR OR YOUR SONS CAR.
How can you treat my mom like that. She went to the dealership to get the job done correctly not to come home from a standard oil change to have oil leaks after the fact that she got this job done at your dealership. Carlos you should be ashamed of yourself for down-talking to my mother belittling her like that. She feels so bad for how she got treated for something you guys did wrong. She didn’t even want to tell me what happened and the experience and the class of customer service she was given.
This dealership needs to take responsibility for their MISTAKE. Stop stealing peoples hard earned money by providing false repairs. I wouldnt call this a dealership more Like A STEALERSHIP / SCAMMERSHIP!

I would never go back to that place nor would I ever recommend anyone to Puente hills nissan. I should Have walked out the minute the sales manager came back a second time with different payment rates- granted I was not desperate for a new car and felt I was very clear with my communication with the sales manager Barry - 3 weeks later, I walk in very disappointed that I have to sign a new loan, agreeing to a new payment - because I would not validate their unprofessional performance, Barry was persistent and basically gave me back my old car and said we are done. I've lost out on time, money for insurance. Barry did get a reimbursement of 230 for my insurance costs but now I have to transfer and pay another 150. I thought this was a credible place but I was stressed out and treated like crap.

Scam artists and hustlers - Ajreigle
THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!! I brought my car in for a FREE DETAIL that I was given because the LAST time I brought my car here, they literally lost it for 2 hours. Lost my car! How does that even happen??
So I bring it in for the free detail and ask them to look it over as I will be driving it across country next month. Of course they call me with a list of things they recommend, including replacing my drivers side window because it isn't functioning, which would cost $800! I laughed at that and of course said no way. Then they listed a few other things, some fluids that should be replaced. I ask what that costs, and CESAR tells me $90. I was in the car with 3 friends, on speaker phone, and we all hear $90. I REPEAT $90 back to Cesar and he confirms. That sounds worth it, so I say ok, please go ahead. Hours later, after my car is ready, I receive an invoice for $516!!!!!!! Of course, it's also a Saturday evening, and the service department is closed on Sunday, so I have no way of resolving this issue. I finally speak to Cesar and his supervisor this morning, and they agree to discount it down to $400. For THEIR miscommunication error. Are you KIDDING ME??! I brought my car in for a FREE DETAIL you really think I was going to spend hundreds of dollars!??
DO NOT GO HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. They're all scam artists with horrific customer service and legal action will be taken.

Cancelled a contract 12 days after signing - Tycoon
Dealer couldn't find financing but failed to notify me till 12 days after. Sales manager was really rude acting like a cave man no manners and lying about sending certified letter about contract cancellation which 5 days later I still haven't recieved anything, well since they failed to notify me within 10 days the contract signed by law is final but they still went ahead and took the car ignoring the contract we signed. Horrible business ethics and can't even communicate properly.

WARNING: DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO NISSAN DUARTE FOR REPAIRS.
I'm a long time loyal customer of Performance Nissan in Duarte, CA. Over the years I've purchased three cars from them. Ownership has changed a few times and now I believe that they are just called Nissan of Duarte.
Today I took my car there to have a door handle repaired. I asked if they could look at it by removing the 2 bolts holding it in place to make sure the plastic inside the handle was broken. Their response was sure we can do that for $135. I talked to Jay the service manager and he acknowledged that TO REMOVE 2 BOLTS WOULD COST $135 AND THAT FEE WOULD NOT BE APPLIED TO THE REPAIR COST which had been quoted over the phone at $270.
Needless to say Jay has not only lost my business for this and future repairs but also for any NEW CAR purchases. There are many other Nissan dealers with far better customer service in the area besides Nissan Duarte so buyer beware!

I had an appointment for service and it took 5 hours for the work to be done. On top of that, it wasn't done properly. I had informed them of an issue I was having with the left rear blinker and they "couldn't find the problem" all they had to do was signal to turn left in order to see the issues, but I guess that was too difficult to figure out. So I had to show them the issue, which means now I'm waiting another 30 minutes. I left the place then I noticed that they had left a gap where my finger would fit when they opened the cover for the light to check the issue, so I had to drive back for them to fix it. I pretty much spent my whole Saturday dealing with this appointment.
While in the dealer I emailed the person in charge of the registration process, I haven't received mine and it's been over 3 months that I did the deal. This email is already more than 3 weeks old and I have had no response whatsoever. I have called before and I get nowhere. I would've spoken to someone, but surprise surprise, they don't work on weekends. So that issue didn't get resolved either.
To make things worse, I read the report of the inspection when I got home, and there were issues that needed attention, but they were not explained to me. Instead they wrote on the paperwork that I declined to get the issue looked at, without ever consulting me. So clearly these people don't care about the safety of others and about their work ethic. But they push sales and even those don't work, because I paid for an alignment and my car feels worse than when I first took it in for service. All in all a horrible experience. But I have prepaid services so I have to keep dealing with them until those are used up.
The only possible light at the end of the tunnel is that I might have a possible lemon on my hands. They have checked past issues with my radio, which obviously they didn't find. So I took it a second time and complained, and they changed the radio unit. Leaving the new one semi-loose so it rattles now. But The same intermittent issue keeps happening and now I have two videos one week apart of each other showing that the radio is still an issue. So maybe, just maybe I might be able to do something about this.
Just try your best to stay away from this place. I truly believe that they're not honest. Since they didn't get me on the deal, they turned around and sold the contract to Wells Fargo. So they're not even honest about that part of the process since I was to deal with Nissan directly. It's no wonder this place changes management so much.
I hope my experience is an isolated one, if it is not, I hope that other people are doing their best to fix whatever issues they might have. Most of all, I hope this helps other people avoid getting in a relationship with this dealer to begin with.
