We were in the market for a small SUV and the Buick Encore looked interesting. We visited Callaremi Cadillac/Buick in Budd Lake NJ. We dealt with Art Adams and from the moment we met he impressed us.
He was professional, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable. His easy going demeanor put us at ease during the entire process which took a couple days. We told him we were also looking at other makes of cars and he respected that.
He took his time and explained the differences on all the Encore models so that we had a good understanding of each vehicle.
Although we chose a different manufacturer he was still professional and courteous when we told him.

What a breath of fresh air; (More like an oxygen tank of fresh air!) I cannot even begin! Car buying at Riverhead Buick GMC didn't even feel like I was dealing with a car dealership. After several unsavory experiences with scummy, rude car dealers, I was pleasantly surprised from the moment I walked into this dealership. First, I was greeted in a friendly manner, but not so overly friendly where it felt disingenuous. The woman up front told me that Jane (Kolbenheyer), the car dealer I was assigned with, would be with me in a few minutes, which was literally not even a few minutes. Jane and I had previously spoken over the phone to set up an appointment, so I was expected, however, I've been expected at other dealerships, and ended up waiting forever until I was finally helped. The dealership is on a smaller scale, which is wonderful because you really feel cared for and you are not overwhelmed. From the moment I shook hands with Jane, I knew this would be a very pleasant and comfortable experience. She was professional on a very humble and sincere level. I had a particular car in mind, a 2010 Honda CRV EX-L, not certified. (Which is what I wanted due to the advice of my very close friend, who is a great mechanic. He said that the extra couple or few thousand dollars you spend for it to be certified will be much greater of an expense than any expense from an issue you will find with the car within the warranty period. Of course that's when you're buying through a reputable car dealership, that is not going to sell you a lemon.) We got right into the car and test drove it and it drove like a dream. The whole entire time, Jane was not pressuring me in any way, nor did she talk about financing with them. She also did not try and persuade me to buy a certified pre-owned car, which were topics immediately discussed at the other dealerships. In fact, all we talked about were the details of the car and making small talk. She felt like a good friend whom I'd known for a long time. I instantly fell in love with the car. When we spoke in the dealership at her desk, I told her that I was also interested in another car at a Honda dealership. (Which I truly was.) She mentioned to me, in a very discreet way, that the particular dealership I was referring to was not very trustworthy and slyly sneaked in extra fees. She did not say this in order to gain the sale; she was truly looking out for my best interest. (FYI-when I googled this online, I found out that the Attorney General, Eric Schneiderman, recently indicted a whole string of Atlantic dealerships on the island for misleading customers with false advertisements and misleading promotions, including fraudulent sales tactics. To this day I'm still thankful for the warning. It all just came naturally from her, and because of that, I took her word for it. Again, there was not an iota of pressure from her or anybody else, which was the main concern for me. That bit of information certainly helped me make my decision much easier and my decision was to buy this CRV! I asked for $300 off the price, which she went to check with the manager. She came back only a couple of minutes later and agreed to it, which was wonderful, considering other dealerships make you wait and play games with you. I knew I was getting a great deal, as I already knew the KBB value of the car and knew my facts going into this process. She then introduced me to Michael Lucki, the business manager at the dealership. He was a very friendly guy, and just as I had expected, not an ounce of dominance from him or pressure to finance through them. He had written out all of my options in order for me to completely understand what my monthly costs would be and what the overall costs would be. Very, very courteous and patient guy. When I went to pick up my car 3 days later, I was greeted by a very smiley Jane. When I was ready to leave with my car, in the most friendly and genuine manner, I received a great big hug from her! I bought my car three months ago, and am only reviewing this dealership now because I wanted to make sure my car was free of any problems and it is in fact problem-free! There are only a few things which I wish I noticed before buying the car; the fuse for the rear shield wiper was not connected, which was an easy fix. Also, the cargo area did not come with the cargo shelf/cover, which was my fault for not noticing it when Jane showed me that area. Lastly, there is a tear in the upholstery on the car roof which I should have noticed but didn't. Had I known, I would have asked for that to be fixed while it was getting detailed. Otherwise, an excellent buy and an excellent choice for a dealership; trustworthy and sincere. I have recommended them to many people so far and will continue to do so. Even if you are not looking for a Buick or GMC, they have many pre-owned cars of different makes to choose from. Jane, Mike, and the rest of the Riverhead Buick GMC team, if you are reading this, thank you so, so very much for everything! When it's time to look for another car (Granted, it probably won't be for quite a while, since I plan on driving this thing til its dead, hahaha.) you will surely be seeing me again!

We all know Car shopping can be so stressful, I was on my 3rd delearship trying to decide if I wanted to switch from my Jeep to a GMC Terrain. My friend had recommended this delearship and I was told to go see a salesman named Scott Mintz.. Scott Mintz was a pleasure to deal with ! From the second I walked through the door and the time that I picked up my new SUV There was zero stress. My brother had recently leased a vehicle from Romeo and was telling me about his experience. He said if I ever wanted a new vehicle that was the place to go and that I had to MAKE SURE I worked with AMY HAUBRICH ! At the time I wasn't even considering it - but I had wondered how the whole lease worked and always dreamed of having a brand-new car. I called and left a message for Amy ( she was selling a vehicle - bless her ) who called me back as soon as she was available. She explained a little bit to me and then we mutually decided we should meet in person so I could find out what it was all about and see what was available. I was impressed to receive not only a call from the dealership but an email from Amy confirming my appointment for Friday. Now that is the way to do business!
I had fallen in love with a Buick Encore on The Romeo website because of the color but was disappointed when it didn't have some of the features I would like to have , Amy immediately looked up to see if they had one with all the bells and whistles I'd like and she came up with the perfect vehicle for me. It even had more than I expected.
She's one of the friendliest , most down to earth people I've ever met and it was a very comfortable and rewarding experience for me. There was absolutely no pressure from her or the Business manager, Jeff. I even got to meet one of the partners who was just as friendly and liked my song which was a plus in my book - Lol .

I bought a 2014 Silverado with a vibration problem at highway speed. They flat out told me not to bring it back. GM put out a bulletin pi1354c on how to fix the problem, the service manager told me that it is to time consuming to fix and they wouldn't even try. Buyer beware! Rossi is no good!

I wouldn't recommend this dealer. I have been waiting for 2 days for the owner of Miller to reach out to me on the poor service we received on Saturday. We were made to look like fools. The salesperson took very little time with us to busy on his other sales. We signed paperwork on a purchase that somehow someone messed up. Made it look like my husband and I. Very upset with the way we were treated. I guess the owner won't have the respect to call us back then I guess my respect for the establishment will be clearly noted.

My son Jason, asked me to accompany him to Van Buren GMC to purchase a new 4X4 pickup. He stated the Chevy dealerships were rude and nasty, Toyota very rude and cocky and other GMC dealerships didn't take him serious and didn't have the product he finally decided on, 2016 GMC Canyon. Salesperson, Andy Thompson greeted us with open arms , and courtesy. Van Buren GMC didn't have my son first choice of color and had only one 2016 Canyon (RED) left in stock. After a little negoitioating, we settle on a deal and it was a great experience. The Chevy and Toyota dealerships should take lessons from Van Buren GMC on how to treat customers. We are very happy with VAN Buren so far. The true test is going to be our experience with the service department. I will rate and write a review when that happens. Thanks Van Buren and keep up the good work.
