In May of 2017, I went car shopping with my daughter. My daughter will begin her junior year at Penn State this August. The roads to Penn State are fast and icy. We needed something SAFE, with the ability to handle the icy/snowy roads of State College, PA. We also needed comfort for the long rides and space for hauling her clothes and college "stuff".
After months of researching, we decided on one of the following: Honda H-RV, BMW X3 series or the Land Rover Evoque. We live in Edison so we started at Ray Catena on Route 1 in Edison. We fell in love with the Evoque for many reasons. Our overall experience was NOT good at all. We both decided that we would NOT purchase anything from this dealer no matter what. I will not go into the specifics. I have yet to have a good experience there.
Our next stop was BMW of Edison. I was working with my salesman from a previous purchase. He knew what I was looking for and had several models available to test drive. Nothing met our expectations but we did not want to go back to the salesman at Ray Catena's. Next stop was Honda to check out the H-RVs and CRVs. Again no luck with meeting our expectations.
We decided to take the ride to the Land Rover in Princeton. It was the BEST move ever. We immediately felt comfortable. Our salesman, Joel M, was excellent. He's a good listener. He did not push. We told him what we wanted. We made a deal that very day. I am NOT an impulsive buyer and I do my homework. I research everything. I check prices, competitors, safety, and consumer reports. I would never walk into a dealer and purchase a car "same day". Joel took a lot of time with us. He explained all the value-added services available at Princeton Land Rover. We met the service team. No games, no hassles. It was truly a pleasant experience from the minute we walked into the showroom to when we took delivery. My daughter is now the proud owner of a 2016 Land Rover Evoque with an excellent warranty. We have a great team from the Land Rover Princeton that will surely enhance her driving experience.
Since taking delivery, Joel has been a true professional making sure that everything is in order.
I would highly recommend the Land Rover of Princeton as your first stop. I would also suggest that you ask for JOEL!!

I live in DC and found my Range Rover Sport online. I called and talked with Matt and he could not have been more helpful! I spoke with a lot of dealers while I was researching and none of them came close to providing the level of service Matt did. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle, super responsive with all of my questions, and incredibly professional with the negotiation. I also had the pleasure of working with Frank when I came onsite to actually buy the car. Again, he could not have been more pleasant to work with. He really went out of his way to make sure I was completely taken care of. Alyssa was also super helpful and fast getting all of the financing together. Pleasant pre-owned vehicle purchase experience - cdcolleend
We had been in the market for a bit when we had the pleasure of meeting George Weldon. We stopped in to see a vehicle (not a franchise model) that Land Rover of Willow Grove had on their lot that met our search criteria. George was super to work with. He was genuinely interested in understanding what we were looking for and patiently answered our questions. Ultimately, we were satisfied that we found the right vehicle and completed the purchase. Everything was handled courteously and efficiently, right through to the quick delivery of the vehicle registration (~2 weeks after the sale). Throughout the process, everyone we met at the dealership was friendly and helpful. For us, however, it was George's approach that made this our most pleasant preowned vehicle purchase experience (and we've bought many over the years). He even called us a few weeks after the sale to check in and make sure we were enjoying our "new" car. We will certainly call George when we're back in the market and we will, without hesitation, recommend George to family, friends, neighbors and coworkers.

Best car buying experience ever - New Range Rover Sport Fan
At 68 I have made many new car purchases, and only new car purchases! I actually dreaded buying a new car, but Chris Cuthbert, sales representative at this dealership made purchasing my 2017 Land Rover Range Rover Sport the best experience ever!!! It was easy and fun at the same time. We looked at Lexus, BMW, Mercedes, and Land Rover. Chris has excellent salesmanship skills and product knowledge of the Land Rover models. He is low key with thorough follow up and follow from our initial meeting through our purchase last week. Just a very positive experience including a final price for the car. My next car will be a Land Rover model from Land Rover of Wilmington. Wilmer, the owner even stopped by during our sales search to say hello and introduce himself. Best experience ever!!!
