Reggie came to us by recommendation from friends. He exceeded our expectations and we will be purchasing from him again! He had the process smooth and painless, just how it should be buying a car.

Excellent cutomer experience - mntanacowboy
Went to look for a new Jeep Wrangler ended up settling for a used Jeep Sahara. Worked with Willey the Internet Manager who was very helpful and patient. Also talk with Dan or Danny who worked hard to get the deal we wanted and good money for are trade-in. The facilities were very nice and clean with a large selection of used and new vehicles and no pushy sales people. I would recommend any one who is looking for a new or used vehicle to visit their store.
Worst Experience Ever!!! - HB
Let me tell you about my car buying experience... After 20 years of buying new cars, I discovered the hard way, that Bud Clary Jeep/Dodge/Ram of Auburn was the ABSOLUTE WORST that I have EVER had to deal with.
I purchased my Jeep on a Saturday Aug 19th. I later noticed that the steering wheel was not aligned properly. I brought it back the next day to have a service person drive it and he agreed with my assessment. I scheduled another appointment to fix the steering wheel and when I went to pick it up, my salesman said that they didn't find a problem with it. I insisted that he drive it and he agreed with my assessment, as well.
Also, while driving I went to use my windshield wipers at only 432 miles, on a new car, and I got an alarm that said, "Washer Fluid Low." This basically told me that the PDI (Pre Delivery Inspection) was NOT performed. I talked (and sent texts) to my salesman numerous times and told him that I wanted proof (photocopy or receipt) that a PDI was completed on my car. My seasoned salesman sent me a text asking, "What exactly do u mean by PDI report?" Seriously, he didn't know what a PDI was?!?! This should be the very FIRST thing done when the car arrives to the dealership.
I scheduled a 3rd appointment to address the steering wheel problem and for them to perform a PDI. I was sent a text by my salesman that my car wouldn't be ready until the next day. I called him immediately and he told me that, "Their service department tried to fix the steering wheel, but were unable to and that they had to send it "somewhere else" to fix it." Hopefully they sent my new car to a reputable and Jeep authorized business.
I received a call from him later that night telling me, "Good news, your car is all done and ready to be picked up!" When I got to the dealership my salesman informed me that they, "Didn't perform the PDI." I told him that I was "Not coming back again." That would've meant a 4th visit back to address something that should've been completed before I had possession of my car.
On a side note, the inside of the car was not cleaned at all. The inside of the windows were filthy. You'd think that when purchasing a $43,000 car, that the dealership would AT LEAST have the car in showroom condition. And after 3 visits, the car was still not completely cleaned. And I even had to peel off some of the stickers on the inside.
The good news is, that I took my Jeep to another dealer and they performed the PDI for me, for free. Needless to say, I will NEVER buy or bring my car to Bud Clary EVER again. And I will definitely let others know about my experience.
Bad experience - coopegm0
I bought a truck here about a month ago, and have had unanswered problems every week since. My experience started, and should have ended, with the finance department informing me that if I bought the vehicle outright with a cashiers check from my bank, the deal that I was promised the day before would be voided, and I would be unable to purchase the vehicle. I conceded to receive my loan through them, only to be pressured into buying a bogus warranty for an extra $3000. Upon returning home with the vehicle, I promptly canceled the warranty with the third part company (still no confirmation of the cancelation with the dealership, and the total is still on my principle loan amount with the dealership, so now I am paying for a warranty that I no longer have). A week after purchase, I noticed a loud knock coming from the undercarriage (frame) of the truck. I was informed by my local Toyota dealership that the vehicle had been in an accident, and the suspension needed $1000 worth of work to make the vehicle drivable. On top of all of this, it is now a month later, and I still have no word of receiving the vehicle's title that was supposed to be mailed to my local dmv. My temporary registration, that I paid for myself, expires tomorrow, and I have been calling for the past week, only to be passed off to over a dozen different people on their phone tree. As of now, I've had the pickup in the shop for three days, am paying on a warranty that I no longer have, and still am not the legal owner of the vehicle (no title). To top it all off, the dealership seems very evasive, and I am never able to reach anyone who knows anything when I call. The deal seemed shady from the get go, and I should have walked away. Hopefully this helps potential buyers.

Unexpected Deal - Youcan'tfoolme
Let me start off by saying, I sold Chevrolets for over 3 years and managed (F&I) a CDRJ dealership. I let the salesman (Alex - Big Al) know that from the get go. I went into the dealership because I kept getting emails about how they needed some 2015 Wrangler Unlimiteds for their used care inventory; I figured it was just to get me in to buy. I asked what they'd give me for my pristine Jeep and they told me. We then looked (at my request) for a replacement 2017 Wrangler. They didn't have what I wanted so I looked at Rams. Only really had to look at one. It was made for me! It has everything on it that I wanted and more. I told the sales manager (Jason) that I'd like the evening to consider the deal and I'd let him know the next morning (yeah, I was a "B-Back"). Bottom line, the deal was too sweet to pass up so we traded. Again, remember I'm no novice at trading/buying/selling vehicles. I feel like the Big-Al/Jason combo is a good team. Ask for them!
Sleezy management - Carguy123
Sales team try's hard to deliver but incompetent sales managers Richard and Josh ruined my experience while I was working with gabby I heard Richard and Josh making homephobic jokes to another employee this almost made me walk out but Gabby's amazing attitude and my liking of the car I stayed once My trade was appraised I was brought a shockingly disrespectful number for my trade I was told that they don't control trade our corporate does... I was at AutoNation ford a few days earlier and was given a reasonable offer worst dealership ever do not by any means by a car or so buisness here
Terrible Service Department - jonathan
I bought a used 2006 F250 truck with 6.0L diesel engine at a used car place in Lynwood and the first thing I wanted to do was to take it to a service place that was familiar with the model to do a complete service as well as run a complete diagnostic routine on it. As far as I was able to tell, the truck had absolutely no mechanical issues, but I wanted to set a baseline since I didn't know anything about the mechanical history of the truck. I called Gillis and spoke to the service administrator(?), Aaron, and explained what I wanted. He said, no problem, they had a mechanic familiar with my truck model that could do a complete service and status check.
I dropped the truck off in the morning and called back later that afternoon and Aaron told me that the mechanic had found some $10,000 worth of needed repairs! Leaking fore and aft crankshaft seals, leaking valve cover gasket, leaking water pump, bad ball joints, bad steering rod, bad suspension rod(?), bad fan clutch and bad brake calipers. I was doubtful that it needed all this since I had observed no leaks, the truck drove fine, braked fine, steered fine and had made no unusual sounds. On the other hand, I needed to tow a heavy excavator the following week so I certainly didn't want any problems with the brakes, steering and suspension, or problems with overheating, so I told him to take care of the suspension, steering, brakes, fan clutch and water pump, but do nothing about the oil leaks. I live thirty miles away so it wasn't practical to come see the failed/worn parts before they were removed. Instead, I told Aaron to save all the parts that were taken off so that I could look at them to confirm that they were in fact worn out. Let me emphasize, the truck was driving absolutely fine when I took it in- the only way in this situation that a customer could know that any work was actually needed, was to actually see the worn out parts after they were removed.
Three days later, at 4:30 PM, Aaron called me to say that the mechanic would be finished by 5:00 if I wanted to come over and pick up the truck. I came immediately and the first thing I wanted to see was the removed parts. But guess what? They had thrown them all away. Somehow, just before I arrived, someone had taken all my used parts to the dump. How does this happen by accident? The only thing they had to show me was 4 used brake calipers, only one of which actually looked like it had a worn out shoe. I don't know how most auto repair services operate, but it would seem to be a good standard operating procedure to ALWAYS save the removed parts to show (or even return to) the customer if he/she requested them. And in my case, since there were no known issues with the vehicle before it was dropped off, it was imperative, as the only proof that repairs were even needed, for them to save them. AND, I HAD SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THAT ALL THE REMOVED PARTS BE SAVED!
The total cost of their work (I won't call them repairs, because, who knows?), was $5305 before taxes. I was furious, but what could I do? I thought of refusing to pay, but then what? Imperil my credit rating? Gillis is the party at wrong here. So, a very negative review. Either their service department is run by idiots or they are a ripoff.

Ahmad was extremely disreswpectful to my family and I. ... - de40zb
Ahmad was extremely disreswpectful to my family and I. He tried to rip us off with the price of the vehical. He wanted to charge 6k dollars tax and lisence. When i told him that was unexceptable he queswtioned my parenting. He was extremely rude. He also said he doesnt want to compete with anyone to sell me a car, but he is a salesman isnt that their job to sell their product. The follow up call by the mananger was very pushy to have me come back and buy the vehical at asking price. There was no compassion for the extreme disrespect to my family and I. We are a repeat coustomer and the dealership was rude and very unpefessional. Extremely poor manangement and sales. Go to anyother dealership but this one, Big waste of time.
