I will start off by saying I am very disappointed in this business. My fiancée went into Hubler looking for a nice dependable Mustang that he could not only drive daily but also take to car shows with me and our 3 year old. He explained to the salesman that we had purchased a vehicle from another used car lot a few months prior and had been completely mislead. Though the salesman seemed sympathetic it seems we may have been deceived again. The first red flag should have been while signing the papers for his new car the mechanic came and informed him that he had to take the car to the shop and replace the brakes. At this point he had already test drove the car, the car ran fine and braked fine. He didn't think anything of them replacing the brakes. He figured he could trust them. The vehicle ran great for the first 3 days then the check engine light comes on. He took it and had the codes run. It comes back with several problems. So obviously the codes had been cleared on the vehicle so they could get someone to buy the car. So far in the 2 weeks that we've owned the vehicle we've put close to $2000 into it and will have to put even more in within the next week as he has to go get the car tuned (again). It seems someone removed the tuner from the vehicle. Shady. We will never do business with Hubler again, in fact I doubt we will ever buy from another used car lot. This has completely ruined my faith in ever finding an honest car salesman.

I was looking for an affordable vehicle for my 17 year old son. I happened to see a Facebook post by Dave Woellaeger. It clearly stated that he had about 15 different vehicles available and how much each one cost. He was very honest and upfront about what each car entailed. I was extremely impressed with how fast, courteous and forthcoming Dave was from the very beginning. From the moment I saw the car posted by Dave to the time I bought and took possession of the vehicle, only about 12 hours had passed! I'm still in awe that the vehicle was as clean as it was and even though it was a 15 year old vehicle, the interior is absolutely immaculate!! This is absolutely the perfect first car for my son and ANYONE'S son for that matter!! It is in great shape and it's perfectly safe for my son's first car. I would highly recommend anyone going to see Dave at Grow Automotive, he's definitely going to take as good of care of you as he did of us! And as an added bonus...I now no longer have to let my son take my good car nor do I have to run around playing "taxi cab" with all my son's friends/girlfriends!! ~~Thanks again Dave, you have no idea how big of a life saver you've been. Extreme shady business practices - Hondatim
Bought a used SUV. All was good until we got an independent safety inspection done. No way it should have. Been sold with a current passing certificate of inspection. All brake lines were rotted, power steering hose leaked, serpentine belt needed to be replaced, front rotors were past tolerance(someone put new pads on to try to disguise this issue).
When we took it back to demand the issues be fixed... The dealership (10 days later) decided to say the loan was denied. We already received the transfer title and remaining paperwork in the mail .
They said they had to take the vehicle back. Strange how the whole situation panned out.
Don't worry we have proof of an seemingly illegal inspection done.
Consider this. Someone decided to pass a vehicle that had no business being on the road at all. The brakes were not working properly and could have completely failed. The power streering could have failed.
How would anyone feel if they lost a family member because someone passed a vehicle with issues like this?
Shame on this dealership on several levels.
I would never set foot on their lot for anything.

Has a serious commitment with getting titles promptly to customers then lash out at you if you correct them and refuse to aknowledge mistakes and challenge you to a screaming match... absurd cannot explain this dump! Nothing like the Fred Leta Honda or Acura dealerships!

I trade often and am always on the lookout for quality pre-owned German cars. Imports Limited usually has a few lower mileage BMWs on their lot that pique my interest. If you notice, some of those cars have sat there for a very long time. I tried to contact them on multiple occasions for trade appraisals, After they took my information, they never returned my call. I am not one to wait, so I did business with someone else. They always sound very shady on the phone and ask questions multiple times. They also prefer to text. As I said, I trade a lot and have decided I wont call them again, even if they have a nice vehicle on their lot. Communication is the key to keeping a good business relationship.
Bad vehicle, hard time getting ahold of someone, couldn't fi - EKP2004
If I could give them a zero, I would. We bought a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan from them on October 1st. They were nice enough to let us give them $700 of our $2,000 the day we got it and then the other $1,300 of it 3 weeks later. However, on our way home with the new van, I realized that the van had extreme difficulties making it up hills. Then, on October 2nd (yes, the very next day) the van had problems starting. It would try to start but not start. After a few times trying, the van finally started. We called our salesmen to find out how we could get those things fixed. After almost a week of being promised a return phone call we FINALLY got through and took the van back to be looked at on October 11th. We got our van back on October 27th or 28th and when their mechanic went to start it for us and it did the exact same thing it was doing before we took it to them. They told us to go ahead and take it home and see how it acted. Well, from repeatedly having to try to start it, the battery died. My 3 boys missed trick or treating because the van wouldn't start. We attempted numerous times to call with no return calls. We then called the finance company to file a complaint since the van was still not fixed. We told them we didn't want it. It was having too many issues, they weren't being fixed, and the van was too expensive to be having all these problems. The next day they came out and replaced my battery and tried to dismiss the issues with acceleration with it being a van and the size of motor. The starting issue was still not fixed and was taking more than 5 minutes to get started. We refused to pay the remaining $1300 until the van was fixed and we had a title (after more than 45 days we still did not have a title). The last straw was when I went out to start the van, after 6 minutes of trying to start it, it started, and instantly smelled very strongly of burning wires. When we opened the hood there was smoke coming from under the hood. I was very upset about how we were being strung along and the lack of a safe, reliable vehicle so I called and yelled at a lady there. It was very immature of me and I now regret it and did write her an apology note. Since we still were not having luck with getting the van fixed we called and filed another complaint with the finance company and again told them we didn't want this vehicle, it had too many problems. Finally, on November 21st we got a call from the Blackwell office stating they were going to buy our van back. It was a huge relief that I didn't have to worry about paying for a van that was going to cost a fortune to fix. We already put some of our money into it trying to figure out what was wrong with it. We just found out today that they will not give us our $700 back because it has been longer than 45 days since we purchased the vehicle. With as many problems as we had with the vehicle and with them as far as calling back or just keeping us updated I feel this is ridiculous. I guess I should just be happy we didn't give them the other $1300. There were a few other problems that I think are pretty bad as well but this was the biggest problem we had. I will never recommend Blackwell and will readily tell them of all the problems they gave us. $700 is nothing to a dealership but is a big deal to people with 4 kids who work their butts off for what they have. Now we have to save another $700 to have our $2000 down payment for a vehicle at a different dealership.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! This dealership sold me a vehicle with 29, 200 miles that failed after less than two weeks of operation. The sales person (Christy) was great, however, my experience with her employer was less than desirable. I am fresh out of a bankruptcy and could not afford the cost of an extended warranty and felt the car would be reliable for a reasonable amount of time prior to needing any moderate to major repair. The car was a 2006 Mustang GT that had aftermarket performance parts installed. One of these components was the throttle body (brand new) and unbeknownst to me, it needed to be professionally "tuned" in order to function correctly. After a bout a week or longer I did some city/stop and go driving and the car died on me several times almost getting me hit at a red light. I had a diagnostic performed and was told there was an issue with the throttle body assembly. I immediately submitted this information to the dealer and they informed me that the car had been sitting a while and the throttle body just probably needed to be cleaned and serviced and that my in house warranty only covers "internally lubricated parts." After several minutes of back and forth, the sales manager Joe agreed to have the throttle body cleaned and told me he felt this would resolve my issue. I dropped my car off as planned and upon checking on the status, I was then told by the office manager that nothing was wrong with the throttle body and that since it was a performance part it will need to be tuned to operate correctly with the vehicle. Several calls later, I found out this was in fact the issue and that professional tuning can run $110-150 dollars an hour and can take up to 4 hours. The manager didn't even have enough decency to come out and speak to me when I picked up my car, as he sent one of the porters out with my keys. None of the performance modifications were made by myself and existed on the vehicle prior to me purchasing. I feel as if the dealer should stand behind their cars and any "tuning" that needed to be done as a result of their advertised "extras" should have been done prior to selling the vehicle. In addition, the staff ,aside from my sales person, was very nonchalant, unfriendly and lackadaisical to say the least. I can admit that I did decline their extended warranty however; I highly doubt it would have covered aftermarket parts placed on the car by the previous owner. At any rate, they basically turned their back on me and told me it was my problem. I am a well informed consumer and fully understand the ramifications of not getting additional coverage's however; I do not feel its reasonable for a vehicle to fail or need several hundred dollars worth of professional work done less than two weeks after buying the vehicle. I have purchased over 16 cars in my life time, and I have never had to make any repairs on any car purchased after less than two weeks of use. I had hoped their reputation, rapports, and relationships meant more to them, but at this point I have no choice but to share my experience. The car looks great, head turning show room floor muscle car...that can only be ran on the highway after two weeks of use. If you visit the BBB's website, you will also see other reviews similar to mine regarding this dealership. I have also searched other websites and found reviews eerily similar to my own story. People purchase a car, then shortly after they have issues and the dealership refuses to stand behind their product/vehicle. To add insult to injury, they keep reiterating that I declined an extended warranty; however they never address the fact that an extended warranty probably doesn't cover AFTERMARKET AND PERFORMANCE PARTS INSTALLED BY THE PREVIOUS OWNER. In all fairness, they sold me a very nice car and I will not claim that it is a lemon, however; they did sell me a car that proved not to be reliable only after less than two weeks of use. Buying from this dealership will be a crap shoot in my opinion. They have really nice cars, but do not expect them to stand behind them. As a last ditch effort, they also keep reminding me that I put close to 900 miles on the car which has absolutely nothing to do with the matter. It is a car, I have a life, yes its been driven...all xxxxx to avoid accountability in my opinion. I will dedicate a portion of my life to sharing my experience I had with this company. Overall good experience. I Had a few issues on a trade-in but the general manager Matt was really helpful and correcting issues. Matt cut a check for $2109 for a clerical error and another $500 for half my original. Down payment and another $25 for DMV late fees. Matt kept his work and went out of his way to make the situation right. They corrected and helped with everything said they were going to. Matt had one of the team bring me my title so I could get the vehicle registered and all is good!

I wish I could give these scammers zero stars. Do your research from buying this company. My boyfriend went to buy a car today in hopes of trading in the car he bought from Lane 1 2 years ago and found out that the car was worth nothing because it had structural damage and this was NEVER disclosed to us when we bought the car. Always ask for a car fax and never buy from this company full of scam artists! I just read other reviews and this has happened to more than just us. It's how they do business. These guys are not to be trusted.

Overall, my experience with GMT in Florissant, Mo wasn't bad. The only issue I have is with a specific salesman. His name is Marty Robinson. He was very attentive in the whole selling process but as soon as I took delivery of my vehicle, he became VERY uninterested in any type of follow up service. He told me my truck came from a different lot and would need time to mail the spare set of keys since I lived so far away. That was in November and it's not the end of February. It may not seem like a big deal but it's a chipped Key that the dealer will have to program for me since GMT won't supply the one MARTY ROBINSON promised

I would not recommend this dealership. The saleman are very nice and go above and beyond to sell you their cars. I havent had my vehicle six months and already had to replace a battery, a set of front struts, front ball joints and no telling what will be next. They do not stand by the quality of their vehicles. They gave me a lemon.

More trouble than it's worth - Ron
Personally, I would save myself the trouble and go elsewhere. A lot of run around with these guys and they seem to be sly and deceiving. Took over a week to get my title and within that time the 'check engine light' came on. So they took the truck back to them to get the inspection. Then, I go to get the license and told me I didn't get emissions. I had thought they took care of the inspections. Then told me they didn't do emissions, but if I had brought it in within 10 of buying the truck they would have fixed the problem if It had failed... which it did. So they sold me a truck that had failed emissions. Most confusing interaction with a company I've experienced.
