I worked with Bob and he was able to facilitate a deal including a trade in over the phone. There was no pressure, no false sense of urgency, just attentive communication. I drove in to sign paperwork and pick up my car. He came in on his day off just to meet me and make sure everything went smoothly. The finance team was transparent and there were no surprises. The pick up process was quick and easy. Everyone I worked with with during this transaction was professional and friendly. Not your stereotypical car buying experience for sure. I highly recommend Dean Team Volvo and Bob if you are in the market for a new car. More

*BUYER BEWARE* When buying out of state be sure to save every text message and record every phone call, just as I have! What started out as a great buying experience, has now led to a 3-month debacle, e every text message and record every phone call, just as I have! What started out as a great buying experience, has now led to a 3-month debacle, ending with me having to take this dealership to small claims court. All because this dealership wants to save around $750 instead of doing what's right! I bought a 2020 Buick Regal GS with 13k miles on it, sight unseen. I specifically asked Bob, my salesman, on the condition of the vehicle stating "Also I know this probably isn't the case but for formality. There's no issues with the vehicle I need to be made aware of? Paint or body issues, undercarriage or mechanical issues, interior issues?" To which Bob replied "it's a very nice car." However, when the car arrived on transport I immediately noticed there were several dents/dings on the door, two wheels were curb rashed, and it had significant pain damage all over the hood/roof of the vehicle! I express these concerns to Bob immediately the next morning followed by multiple pictures of the issues. He told me he didn't know how that was missed because he "checks cars for stuff like that himself." He told me he would speak to management and I began getting estimates. Bob and his boss Scott said the estimates were way too high. So they asked me to go get more estimates. Which they also agreed were too high. The 4 estimates ranged from $2,743 to $4,278 which was just for the paintwork. I told them the dents and wheels I would be fair and just address myself. They told me the best they could do is give me $1,000 because that's what their bodywork guy they use would charge them. Which obviously they would get a discount, because I'm just some guy off the street. This was after a month and a half of giving me the runaround. I told him that was unacceptable and I asked to speak to Bob's manager Scott over the phone. The three of us had conference call (which I recorded) and we discuss an idea I previously had, that they come pick up the vehicle to have the work done by their guy. However, they knew the logistics would be complicated so they wanted me to call my lowest estimated quote and try to negotiate a lower price with them. I told them no that's not my place that's on them, so they did. They would not come down on the estimate, which was the obvious outcome. So we proceeded with them picking up the car. Bob said he would get back to me with dates on getting the car picked up. After over 4 weeks of waiting, which has been the norm throughout this process, delays after delays. I told Bob they needed to find a way to come up with the ~$750 to just have the work done here. I was told that was not an option. The best they can do is give me $1,100 to which I said no. I asked when they could pick up the car and how soon could I have it back. Keep in mind I'm 5 hours away. Bob told me it would be another week before he can have it scheduled, a few days before the car arrives to them, two weeks before it's done and they can get it coordinated to come back to me. He added, it could be sooner it could be longer. Which we all know it's typically going to be longer. I was shocked by this, because I was expecting them to have confirmed dates already, as I had been waiting over 4 weeks for this exact information initially. It seems it is of such low priority that nothing had been done! I told them if the car was going to be out of my possession for an undetermined amount of time I would like a rental car and they also fix the curbed rash wheels ($85 each). Bob told me that would not be an option, forcing me to be without a vehicle for an undetermined amount of time, which is unrealistic! I said that was unacceptable and again they needed to either get me a rental car or come up with the additional little expense to have the work done here locally. I was told either take the $1,100 or deal with their undetermined timeline. I will now be taking this to small claims court. More

They reached out to me very quickly and answered all my questions and more with ease. Bob was my salesman, and Shelby was the financial guru. I had my own financing, but with some items added I decided to go with the financing Shelby got for me since it was an actual rate lower than I got on my own. Bob worked with me to hold the car since I was flying in, to make sure no issues with it being sold prior to coming in. Shelby took me on a fun test ride, was so personable and friendly. I never felt rushed, was told good and bad about the car, and warranties that were offered. I felt like they were very transparent about the whole process. I would 10000% percent recommend this dealership. Start to finish was an easy process. Especially considering ones in Tampa and Virginia that I was considering were being shady about things over the phone and I NEVER felt this way with Bob or Shelby. Thank you all. I LOVE MY CAR!! More

My wife and I recently bought a car from Dean Team Volvo. First, Bob greeted me on the parking lot and offered assistance without hesitation. He was incredibly friendly and sat with me to find the car I want First, Bob greeted me on the parking lot and offered assistance without hesitation. He was incredibly friendly and sat with me to find the car I wanted within my price range. He did not pressure me and made me feel like I could make the purchase if/when i was ready. When that time came, Shelby and Brian helped us get a low interest rate and worked expeditiously to get everything completed in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend Bob, Shelby, and Brian at Dean Team Volvo when you need to buy your next car. More

I wouldn't trust Bob to sell me cow manure if he was standing in a field with cows taking a xxxx after my experience with him. His sales tactics are deplorable. Instead of being welcoming and actively l standing in a field with cows taking a xxxx after my experience with him. His sales tactics are deplorable. Instead of being welcoming and actively listening to me He was cold and dismissive. He didn't let me test drive my car before I signed a paper that said I would accept it as it. He tried to manipulate me after I told him I was thinking about not getting it because the payment was too high by saying things like I was making a mistake if I walked out of there without a car, no one else would finance me in the future if I left without a car from them, & that I needed a new car. When I told him the payments didn't align with my life goals he talked over me and assured me he knew what I was trying to accomplish and that my credit score would jump 20 - 30 points with each payment which I knew was complete xxxxxxxx from past experience. When I was worried about the quality of the car he said the finance company wouldn't finance a car that wasn't reliable and from past experience I also know that is complete xxxxxxxx. He lied about when they received the car and the last time it was serviced even though the Carfax said when it was serviced and received. Overall, I was treated like an imbecile while he simultaneously attempted to empathize with me and it was off putting and pathetic. He won best salesman of the year for 2021 so I expected service I would rave about for years filled with moments that would put the stereotypical stories of car salesman to shame but instead my experience was far worse than anything I've ever heard. Here's the icing on the cake. He said he would pay for my first oil change (wrote it on the back of his card and everything) as a guarantee that the car would last. The time for my oil change just passed and I had to go somewhere else to get it changed because he never got back to me when I called. Anyone who thinks he is a good salesman is either extremely naive or willfully ignorant and will benefit from his detestable sales tactics and they shouldn't be selling or be in any part of the process of selling vehicles.
