Five stars is not enough for McKenney-Salinas. I called every dealership in the area and no one had a sonic gray civic. Randy added all the awesome features to the car; black emblems, painted molding, all weather mats. Car is absolutely perfect. Randy helped me and my wife get a great rate and the payment is low like we wanted. Coming to McKenney-Salinas saved us $2000 from another dealer in Charlotte. Randy was honest with us and didn’t hide anything. Can’t express enough how much gratitude we have for McKenney-Salinas. If you need a new or used Honda don’t shop anywhere else. More

We were specifically there to test-drive with the intentions of returning at a later time to purchase. Our salesman, Eddie Jarvis, rode along, giving us his card when we left. No pressure, no tricks, no games. Last Saturday, we returned as promised, asked for Eddie, went for another drive and afterwards, I told Eddie to see how fast we could get this done because I didn't want to sit around all day! He fulfilled my request along with Bobby Ford and the finance manager, Johnathan Zirbel, by wrapping things up in under two hours. This is our second experience with McKenney Salinas and both have been the best experiences in buying cars that we have had. From the comfort of the showroom, Eddie's down home demeanor, financing terms, and quick paper work, this is hands-down the best dealership that we have ever dealt with. Thank you! More

Dealer and Management Recommendation I purchased my first Honda from McKenney-Salinas Honda in October of 1996, a year after moving from Atlanta. My wife still drives that automobile. I have purchased numerous Honda vehicles in the past 21 years from this dealership including a 2009 Accord EX coupe, a 2013 Honda Accord EX sedan, and on March 10th, a 2017 Honda Civic LX sedan. I have dealt with Bobby Ford, Sales Manager, and Eddie Jarvis for many years and trust both implicitly. In fact, I purchased two or three automobiles from Bobby before he was promoted to Sales Manager, and at that time he transferred me over to Eddie and I have seen no drop off in attention whatsoever. I have all my service performed at this dealership, and every time I go in for service I always visit with those two gentlemen. I have not patronized any other dealership in over ten years and now I own only Honda vehicles, having disposed of two luxury vehicles over the years and now I deal exclusively with this dealership. However, after meeting and talking with Ted Anderson at McKenney Salinas Honda, we were instantly reassured that we had found the right dealership and the right car. Ted and staff at McKenney made the entire process painless, and actually very pleasant. After a test drive, the numbers on the new car and our trade were presented factually and professionally as opposed to nothing being presented in writing at the other dealerships. We felt the deal offered was exceptional. Overall, our treatment at McKenney Salinas Honda was excellent, and I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. More

Excellent Car Buying Experience!! My wife and I were shopping for her a new car for a couple of weeks. We visited several dealerships in the Gastonia / Charlotte area. One of the las My wife and I were shopping for her a new car for a couple of weeks. We visited several dealerships in the Gastonia / Charlotte area. One of the last stops we made was to McKinney Salinas Honda in Lowell, NC. We were greeted by Pete Kienlen. We explained that we were just looking and were planning on visiting a few more dealerships that day. Pete offered assistance if we needed it and then allowed us to browse the lot on our own. We had walked the entire lot by ourselves and were starting to write down stock numbers of cars we were interested in to ask Pete about when he came by to see if we needed any water (it was hot & humid the day we were there). I asked him about the vehicles my wife liked and he went and got the keys to let her sit in the vehicles. We decided to go ahead and do a test drive. After driving a couple of vehicles, I asked Pete about financing and warranties. We went inside and he went through the pricing, financing, warranties and options with the different models. Pete was very thorough and professional. After discussing everything about the cars, he respected our original statement to him that we were still shopping and never tried to force the sell or bring in a manager to force the sell. He thanked us for coming in, introduced us to a manager who only thanked us for coming in and invited us to contact them with any questions. Our entire experience had been very enjoyable that morning. We went on to visit some OTHER dealerships and look at other cars. At one (Toyota) dealership, cars were disorganized and it was hard to find what we were looking for. At another (Ford) dealership, the original salesman was inexperienced, didn't even know how to turn the vehicle on and we were almost hit by a salesman driving a car. A sales manager became rude and disrespectful after we explained to him the same thing we explained and McKinney's Salina's. We walked out of that Ford Dealership. I called Pete to see if he was still at work, he was, and told him we would like to come back and look at two of the vehicles again. When we got to the dealership, the cars were up front, running and cool. We did another test drive and sat down discussing all of our options. We purchased a 2016 Honda CR-V Touring. A Honda will pretty much sell itself based on performance and reliability. What sealed the deal for us was Pete. Pete never pressured us. He was thorough, courteous and professional. Everything from the initial visit to driving the car off the lot was relaxing and amazing. The car is fantastic!! We have had it for a week and have done city and highway driving. It has preformed as advertised and made our traveling experiences very enjoyable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND McKinney-Salina's Honda and Pete Kienlen for your next car buying experience. We will definitely be back when the day comes to get another vehicle. More

The dealership did not have the exact vehicle on the lot when we went there to look. Jasper along with Bobby Ford and Roger Hoyle worked very hard to locate and get exactly what we were looking for in a timely manner. They were friendly and professional and unlike a lot of car buying experiences the process was quick. We got our bottom line price without the game playing and pressure that we have experienced in past car shopping. After the sale Jasper made sure we were comfortable with working all of the features of the car with great patience and knowledge. I would definitely recommend asking for him.
