My Review of Saccucci Honda:
My overall experience was excellent, and Buck Manning was an important contributor. I have had a few minor problems, and I believe that Saccucci will take care of me on all points:
1. I was promised a NEW car as a loaner when I bring my vehicle in for repairs. When I brought my vehicle in for installation of the after-market BlueTooth device, I was given a used car in moderate condition.
2. The after-market BlueTooth does not have all of the functionality nor the quality promised for the system that would have been installed with the navigation package. I was not given information that would have alerted me to the differences between the two BlueTooth systems -- the factory-installed navigation package versus the after-market package.
3. My new 2011 Honda Insight EX -- which I absolutely LOVE -- had a noise associated with the windshield wipers during operation in the rain. This was promptly taken care of when I had the care in for the BlueTooth installation. Since then, one of the windshield wipers has developed a rattle that will need to be repaired under warranty. This should not be an issue with a new car of the quality of a Honda Insight EX.
4. I don't believe that I was given proper information concerning the cost of extra keys. The cost I remember being quoted apparently accounted for the (rather exorbitant) cost of the keys only. The cost of programming the keys was even more expensive, and I don't believe that I was made aware of that extra charge. However, since it was not quoted in writing, I may not be remembering this correctly.
5. The air conditioning system on the Honda Insight EX seems a bit weak. However, that may be associated with my inexperience with automatic thermostat control. The jury is still out on this point.
In spite of these rather minor complaints, I have found Saccucci to be an excellent partner so far, and Buck Manning was an excellent salesperson who did not "over-sell" the product. I am confident that I will be well-cared-for at Saccucci, and that I will continue to be pleased with my purchase and the dealership experience.
