My Review Of Breakaway Honda:
I will try to make a long story short. I purchased my 2013 Honda Civic Si on 3-11-13. I started my day thinking I was going to order a MINI Cooper from Century MINI. After sitting at that dealership and talking with a sales rep for over two hours, the rep brought me the results of the assessment on my trade vehicle. I had originally visited Century MINI in December and already had one quote for my vehicle. This time, the assessment of the vehicle was approximately $4000.00 less than the initial assessment. Needless to say, I promptly left.
Disgruntled, I went to several other dealerships to test drive other vehicles. I rode past Breakaway Honda, while the radio commercial was playing on the radio, and decided to stop in and see if there was anything I might want to test out. When I exited my vehicle, I immediately found the vehicle I was looking for. A silver Honda Civic Si. Initially, I was skeptical, thinking, there is no way I am going to like any car other than what I had my heart set on. The Civic had every option available I wanted, plus many options I hadn't even considered. Also, the Civic was priced substantially lower than I had expected.
My salesperson was Mr. Charles "Bud" Fitzpatrick. Even though there was a difference in our age, he and I got along like we had known each other for years. Mr. Bud answered every question I asked. He was very knowledgeable and very approachable. I also met at least three other people during my time spent at Breakaway Honda. I do not remember their names, as I am terrible with names, but they treated me with the same respect that has eluded other sales people at other dealerships.
The sale manager actually came out to introduce himself, sat down with me and explained every detail of what they do, how they value trade in vehicles, and explained that he would do everything he was able to assist me in finding the most money for my trade and finding the Honda that suited me the best. He did exactly what he intended to do. He was able to find the most money for my trade in vehicle (even more than I expected), and also found the best financing rates and payment plan. Since I had found a vehicle with more options, for a far better price than I had expected, how was I able to refuse taking it home with me?
I then met with the Finance Manager. He took the time to explain every form I had to sign and answered each one of my hundreds of questions. Once the forms were signed and taken care of it was time for me to head home in my new car. Mr. Bud had the Civic detailed and was waiting for me by the car to go over the options and answer any additional questions I had about the car. Once that was done, I drove my new Civic home.
I couldn't give Breakaway Honda a better review. This has been the only dealership I have been to where the staff didn't seem pushy or acted like I was wasting their time. Breakaway Honda actually made buying a car not a stressful experience. The selection of new and used vehicles is awesome. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they actually care about their customers. Plus, the process is stress free and buying a car at Breakaway Honda doesn't take all day.
I would definitely recommend Breakaway Honda to anyone who is in the market for a new Honda or any other used vehicle. I will definitely be returning to Breakaway Honda to have my new Civic Si serviced and also will return when my son begins driving and is ready for his first car. This was definitely the best car buying experience I have ever had.
