My Review of Wilde Toyota Scion:
Had a very bad experience with this dealer 4 years ago and the review is here. The ONLY reason I took a shot at another car purchase here was because of the diligence of Chad Wojtysiak, the Internet Sales Director @ Wilde. He's worked very hard to earn my trust and I did end up buying a Camry there because of him. Chad is a true professional who looked to find the problem and looked to find a good solution.
Renee was our sales contact and I had no problem with her. She met my son and I on the lot and we took one for a spin. Once it was time to deal Renee and Chris worked the deal with me. The deal was OK, not subpar, not a screamer. I think if you come out that way from a dealer you can call it a win for yourself.
My only rub with the deal? the same problem as last time, and honestly I can't necessarily blame the dealer. They tried the same ol' "Extended Warranty" scam again - trying to charge $1800 for a warranty you can get from another dealer for 500-600. This is not a reflection of the folks above - Chad, Renee, and Chris had nothing to do with it. I think honestly Wilde may get more bites if the look at trying volume on the warranties instead of trying to bend everyone over at first opportunity.
All-in-all I'm OK with the deal. the car has been back to have side runners installed and to have the satellite radio put in. No complaints there either. I like Safro Toyota out in Brookfield as well but wasn't a fan of driving 10-12 mi. in traffic to get there when Wilde is a mile from my house. I think I'm comfortable going back now.
